KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Sora's attack was hindered slightly by the man's large sword, but it wasn't completely stopped. He grunted as he pushed his Keyblades against the Carter's body, anger running through his veins at the thought of what this man had done to him.

Namine inhaled shakily before moving again, bringing her legs up to her chest. She wrapped her arms around her legs tightly and burried her head in her knees as she cried softly. Why?! Why did this have to happen to them...?

 

Carter cried out in pain from the power this boy was dealing with his Keyblades. Even the strongest could be eliminated when it came to the legendary Keyblade and its Master.

The image of Namine in his grasp was all Roxas saw behind his closed eyes; Smith's hand over her mouth, his force on her causing her pain, his finger running along her cheek as he spoke those disgusting words to her. Namine... Wait--Namine! Roxas' eyes flashed open and he turned around halfway. His piercing blue eyes that were filled with wrath and fire and hatred...all of those emotions faded when his eyes fell on Namine's form. His hands released the Keyblades at his sides, Oathkeeper and Oblivion clattering against the ground and fading away with shimmers of light once they met the concrete floor.

Kairi brought her knees closer to her chest, letting out a whimper at the cries from battle that echoed to the room.

 

Sora slashed his Keyblades across the man's chest before taking a few steps back, preparing for another strong attack.

Namine sucked in a breath softly, burrying her head more deeply into her knees. She swallowed--hard, as the tears continued to flow, and she was unable to stop them. Ugh, why did she have to see him like that? Why did she have to be used like that to light that fire? She hated that man! She hated him more than she thought possible.

OOC: Gotta eat diner, be right back.

 

Carter let out another cry from the slashes to his chest, feeling the blood already oozing from the wounds. He could already feel his confidence slipping.

Roxas stared at her form, sorrow and remorse replacing that hatred and fire within him. He saw her shoulders shake with every breath she took in, feeling a pang inside at the realization that she was sobbing. He looked down, seeing a tear or two in his black long-sleeved shirt and his jeans looking like they were worn in battle as well.

Kairi winced at the sound of Carter screaming, a tear slipping from her eye.

OOC: Okey dokey.

 

Sora lifted himself into the air before throwing both Keyblades with all his might, the two weapons hurtling straight for Carter.

Namine shakily inhaled, her body trembling slightly from the fear and sadness she felt. In the back of her mind, she was aware that the battle had stopped, but she didn't think about that. She just thought out the anger and hurt in Roxas' voice, and she couldn't get the thoughts out of her mind.

 

Carter opened his eyes after squeezing them shut in pain, catching the Keyblades soaring toward him at an incredibly fast rate. He raised his sword to block the two blades, but he was too late, and he felt one of them pierce his shoulder and the other catch him in his torso as he screamed in pain.

Roxas looked up at Namine, finally having calmed down, but new emotions running through him. He started toward her, hearing the other battle take place. Roxas saw Sora out of the corner of his eye, but he knew it was his fight and so he stayed out of it, his main concern being the girl in front of him.

Kairi took in a shaky breath, her face damp from tears as she heard the battle going on.

 

Sora felt himself land on the ground, letting his Keyblades stay where they were. "Had enough?" Sora questioned, his eyebrows furrowed in anger. Well, the answer didn't matter to him anyway. He as going to kill that man.

Namine opened her eyes for a brief moment then shut them again, a few more tears running down her cheeks and soaking into her jeans.

 

Carter desummoned his sword and lifted his hands. He wrapped both of his hands around Kingdom Key and weakly started to pull it out of the side of his chest. He gasped when it came out and then dropped the disgusting weapon before reaching up to pull Lion Heart out. He groaned slightly in pain as the blade started coming out of his shoulder, his teeth gritted together to keep himself from screaming in pain as the blade finally came out of his shoulder.

Roxas approached Namine from behind and stopped, looking down at her for a moment, hesitant. She had seen him in one of the worst ways he could've ever possibly been, and he didn't know what she thought about it, but he was sure it was the worst. Fear...That was probably the strongest emotion she had felt when she saw him acting out in wrath and fiery hatred. Roxas took a step over, standing next to her from the side before kneeling down, his blue eyes staying on her.

 

Sora's eyes caught onto the falling Keyblades, and he summoned back the Kingdom Key the second it hit the floor, the weapon appearing in his right hand. He was ready to end it...with this man's life. He had never felt this kind of rage before, and it made him grip his Keyblade more tightly, his knuckles turning white from the tightness of the grip.

Despite the noise of battle down at the other end of the hallway, Namine clearly heard the sound of footsteps approaching her, and then the silence that followed. She knew that Roxas was next to her, maybe even kneeling beside her. She hesitated for one second, afraid that she would still see the anger burning in his eyes. Then she lifted her head out of her knees anyway, her light blue eyes wandering to the boy next to her.

 

Carter dropped the silver Keyblade from his grasp, feeling disgusted just holding the thing. He gasped for breath, his eyes flitting to the boy in front of him from behind his glasses. He didn't know what happened to Smith, but he wasn't about to give up, the reward they would receive for gathering the Princesses--all of them--coming to mind. Carter summoned back his hefty sword. "Don't...think you've won...just yet, you Keyblade brat," he forced out. "Kairi will stay with us...and then we'll take her away..." Carter panted for a second before continuing. "And then the one who sent us...they'll use her power to their advantage...And once they get what they want..." He paused, gripping his weapon tightly. "...they'll kill her," he spat.

When Roxas' eyes met hers, her light blue eyes surrounded by red and tears flowing from them, he suddenly felt a strong pang of hurt and sadness inside him. The look on her face...she looked like she was scared. Of him. Roxas felt himself breaking up inside because of it, beginning to comprehend what he had done.

Kairi felt her eyes widen as Carter's words echoed down the hall, her watery eyes filled with even more fear.

 

Sora felt himself tense up at the words, a hotter, more intense rage burning through his body. He hated Carter...and he hated everything that he had done. He hated him even more for his taunting, and how he talked about Kairi. Nobody got away with disrespecting her like that! Sora growled in anger, his eyes shinning more brightly with his anger. "I'm not letting that happen!!" Sora yelled, gripping into the Keyblade with two hands and charging forward.

Namine felt another cool tear slide down her cheek as she gazed at Roxas, no longer seeing anger, but hurt and pain. She felt another pang of sadness in her heart, knowing that she had caused him pain. She bit her lip lightly, slowly letting go of her legs and letting her arms fall to her sides.

 

Kairi felt her heart race when she heard Sora's voice, her body stiffening.

Carter felt himself smirk slightly, holding his sword the tightest he could and holding it up with all his strength. He wouldn't give up now...not yet. Not when he was so close.

Roxas kept his gaze on Namine, watching the tear trickle down her face. His mouth was open slightly in sadness and remorse, knowing that she was scared, seeing it in her eyes. He didn't move, fearing that she would cringe away from him if he made a motion to touch her.

 

Sora furrowed his brows at the man's smirk, a soft growl of anger leaving his lips. He sent down his Keyblade on Carter's sword, his blow being stopped before it could do any damage.

Namine bit her lip lightly, her gaze staying on Roxas. She saw the concern and deep sadness in his eyes, and she felt as if she were responsible. Why did she have to hurt him like that?! She loved him more than imaginable, even if his rage had frightened her. Namine choked back a sob, swallowing hard and trying to get her tears to stop flowing.

 

Carter sucked in a breath when the force met his sword, but he pushed back on the kid's Keyblade, not giving up.

Roxas leaned toward her slightly, but then stopped in hesitation. He took in a breath as he then leaned a little closer, lifting his hand and placing it on the side of her head gently, running his hand slowly down her blonde hair.

 

Sora felt himself being pushed back slightly, and he didn't like that. He grunted and gave more force into the attack, his weapon pushing back on Carter's.

Namine heard a soft sob escape her lips when Roxas' touched her, but it wasn't because of fear. She was so upset that she had hurt him, and he still treated her well. She turned herself toward him and suddenly lift up her arms, wrapping them around him and pulling herself closer to him. She burried her head in his shoulder as she cried softly, pain and sorrow in her heart.

 

Carter growled softly as he pushed back, trying to match the strong force Sora put on him.

Roxas immediately wrapped his arms around Namine's back, holding her close as her body shook with her sobs. He held her tightly, protectively in his arms, not ever wanting to let go after what he just experienced. The fact that Smith had even touched her infuriated Roxas, but the man got what he deserved, Roxas getting revenge. Roxas closed his eyes as he held the girl in his arms, his head turned toward hers slightly.

 

Sora gripped his Keyblade more tightly with both hands, but he couldn't find anymore strength to push back the attack. He felt himself being pushed back slightly, a feeling of panic running through him.

Namine cried silently in his embrace, her arms staying around him tightly as she tried to calm herself down. The power of his rage had frightened her; especially because she had never seen him very angry. She knew that she had seen him at his worst, and his worst scared her. Namine sucked in a shaky breath, her arms tightening around him as she kept her eyes shut.

 

Carter squeezed his eyes shut behind his glasses as he pushed harder, feeling his force pushing Sora back.

Roxas held Namine even tighter at her shaky breath. He knew exactly what had caused her to act so afraid--his unavoidable rage he had felt earlier. Smith had triggered something that had been so deep within him that it came out full force, and unfortunately for the worst...in one situation in particular.

 

Sora grunted softly, the panicky feeling growing worse inside of him. He was being overpowered! And there was nothing he could do to take control of the situation.

Namine exhaled softly, her grip around Roxas loosening slightly as she felt her tears start to run dry.

 

Carter let out a grunt and pushed as hard as he could againt the Keyblade, pushing the boy back and getting the extra weight off.

Roxas took in a breath, keeping his eyes closed as he held Namine in his arms.
