KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Namine felt as if she would cry from the gentle touch, but she forced herself to keep her composure. It was true that she had almost...died, but Roxas had saved her. Everything was fine. It was fine. She was fine. Roxas was fine... She opened her eyes when she felt on of his hands land on hers, and she gently wrapped hers around his in response, keeping her soft blue eyes pointed down.

 

Roxas held her hand in his securely and then started rising to his feet, gently pulling her up with him.

 

Namine flitted her eyes to Roxas, the emotions still in her eyes but her tears staying inside. She didn't want to cause him any more trouble or worry than she already had, though she feared the expression in her eyes showed her fear and sadness. She gripped his hand tightly as she rose to her feet with him.

 

Roxas looked into her eyes and read them, gripping her hand a little tighter in response. "I'll be okay, I promise," he assured her softly. He'd come out of it for both his sake, but more so hers. Before, he'd let her get in firing range, and though he had saved her, it had been too close to comfort. Roxas vowed inside that he would never let her be that close to harm ever again. Never.

 

Namine bit her lip lightly, her eyes quivering for a moment as she gazed up at Roxas. She looked into his eyes for a moment and nodded slightly, taking in his reassuring words.

 

Roxas gazed into her eyes and gave her hand a reassuring squeeze before turning around a little. His eyes found Sora's, Roxas nodding once to let him know he was ready.

 

Namine gazed into Roxas' eyes for another moment before letting her eyes fall to the ground, still nervous about the boys leaving.

Sora nodded slightly in response, tightening his grip on the Kingdom Key. This battle needed to be ended...now.

 

Roxas let his hand slip from Namine's, turning around completely and facing Sora. He held out his hands and summoned both of his Keyblades to his side. They needed to finish this once and for all.

Kairi watched Roxas, keeping her eyes on him for a moment before flitting her gaze to Sora in front of her, shifting uncomfortably. It wasn't only the ropes that bothering her, but the way Sora was risking his life for her. Again. It made her so nervous and afraid, but she believed in him despite it all.

 

Namine's eyes caught onto two bright lights and she flitted her eyes to Roxas again, seeing that he had his Keyblades again. Of course; it was time for the fight.

Sora flexed his left hand, opening it a bit as Lion Heart appeared in his grasp. He needed every advantage he could get in this battle, and he knew that the better he was armed, the quicker the battle could end.

 

Roxas wrapped his hands around Oathkeeper and Oblivion tightly, holding them at his sides as he looked toward the door. As if on cue, a few bullets shot forward, the guards apparently seeing the lights from his and Sora's Keyblades being summoned.

 

Namine took a few steps back, exhaling sadly as she looked down to her feet.

Sora gripped his Keyblades more tightly when he saw a few bullets head toward the doorway, knowing that they couldn't stall much longer. They either had to fight now or surrender...and surrendering definitly wasn't an option. He wasn't going to fail; not today.

 

Roxas closed his eyes for a moment, taking in a deep breath and focusing. They couldn't make mistakes here.

Kairi shifted her eyes from the boys, lowering her head and looking down at her lap.

 

"Let's end it," Sora said softly, lifting his eyes from the floor to Roxas. He held his Keyblades tightly in his hands as he prepared himself for the battle, knowing what he had to do to protect Kairi. He would do whatever it took to save her, because if anything happened to her, he would blame himself. He was her protector...always. He wouldn't let her down.

 

Roxas opened his eyes and exhaled, nodding in response. "Whatever it takes," he added, holding the Keyblades up slightly and keeping his grasp around them tight. Things had gotten too close a few minutes ago, and he could feel the fury building inside him at the thought and memory of the men aiming for Namine. He loved her too much to lose her, and it would kill him to. He would make sure she was safe at all costs.

 

Sora nodded in response, gripping his Keyblades more tightly as he started toward the door. All the rage that he had felt earlier was rising up in him again, and he wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. It would increase his strength and stamina, but it would also make him act a bit irrational. Still, it was just like Roxas said: Whatever it takes. He sucked in a breath, suddenly running through the doorway and into the hallway. He was immediatly bombarded with bullets, but he deflected all of them with his trusty Keyblades, the projecttiles sparatically flying around the room.

 

Roxas took in a breath and sprinted out of the room after him, dodging bullets and blocking them with his Keyblades as he proceeded down the hall to end this, Sora fighting alongside him.

Kairi cringed at the gunshots, knowing that without looking up the boys had gone out there. She squeezed her eyes shut at the shots, her body tensing.

 

Sora swung his Keyblades in front of him as he charged down the hall, the blades catching onto bullets and deflecting them to the floor. His eyes stayed in front of him as he furrowed his brows in anger, coming closer to the group of henchmen.

 

Roxas deflected any bullets that whizzed by Sora as he raced after him down the hall.

 

Sora let out a soft growl and deflected one more bullet before leaping into the air, a small group of men in front of him. He spun his Keyblades in his hands as he speedily fell back down on them, crashing down on one of them with all his might. Sora landed on the unconcious thug and raised his weapons to defend himself when he saw that two of the men had their guns pointed right at him.

 

As Roxas ran, he chucked Oblivion at one of the henchmen holding a gun at Sora. The blade spun vertically in a circle, hitting the man in the shoulder and the force causing him to fall to the ground.
