KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Roxas looked up at the doctor and smiled a little in embarrassment. He'd look silly walking around the room this way, but if it got him out of here he'd do it. He nodded and gripped his crutches as he started to move again.

 

Namine silently watched as Roxas tried out his crutches and noticed that he was starting to get the hang of it. She smiled softly at him.

 

After a minute or two of walking around the room with his new crutches, Roxas stopped next to the doctor and looked up at him. "How was that?" he asked, wondering if he was okay with the crutches now.

 

"Better." The doctor said, giving Roxas an encouraging nod. "How do you feel about it?"

 

Roxas glanced down at his crutches and then back up at the doctor. "I think I've got it," he said with a small smile.

 

The doctor nodded and smiled back at Roxas. "Well, if you're ready, you can leave when you want to. Your medicine is waiting for you at the desk when you check out."

Namine bit her lip to keep herself from jumping up and hugging the doctor. She was so happy he could finally leave this place!

 

"All right," Roxas said with a nod. He smiled at the doctor. "Thanks."

 

"Sure thing." The doctor nodded and kindly left the room.

 

Roxas turned his head toward his bed a few feet away, his eyes falling on Namine. He grinned.

 

Namine smiled back, rising up from her seat as her eyes stayed locked with Roxas'.

 

Roxas' eyes stayed on hers when she rose from her seat, his smile fading into a soft one as he watched her.

 

Namine smiled softly as she walked up towards him. She stopped in front of him and lift her head as she plant a light kiss on his cheek.

 

Roxas smiled warmly when her lips met his skin. Now that he was leaving, they could be in a more comfortable environment with eachother, and Namine didn't have to waste valuable minutes of her life in here with him.

 

Namine backed away and looked up into Roxas' eyes, still smiling.

 

Roxas gazed into her eyes happily, but then beeping entered his ears, which hadn't in a while now. He turned his head, and his eyes fell on Sora...who was still in his bed.

 

Namine followed Roxas' gaze and saw Sora lying on his back, his eyes half open as he stared at the ceiling. "I guess you'll need some clothes." Namine said, looking back up at Roxas. "I'll run by your house and get some quick, 'kay?"

 

Roxas turned his head to her and nodded. "Don't forget your coat," he reminded her, motioning to her coat on the chair.

 

Namine nodded and gave Roxas a small smile before walking over to the chair and picking up her coat, starting to put it on over her navy blue top.

 

Roxas glanced down at his leg while she grabbed her coat, and then turned his head to look at Sora again. Sora'd be here all alone, and Roxas wasn't really sure he was comfortable with that.

 

"Be back soon," Namine promised, her coat now completely zipped up. She smiled softly at Roxas and started towards the door.
