KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Sora grimaced slightly. That meant that they would have to act very quickly so that they didn't set off any alarm. He didn't respond to Kairi, unable to think of anything to say. And then, after a moment, he did think of something, and he said it. "You're doing great, Kairi." His voice said softly, very gentle as he spoke to her. "You're being very brave. I'm proud of you."

 

Kairi would've smiled if she could. "Thanks, Sora," she replied softly. Her eyes were still on the guards, and she met one's gaze. He stared at her fiercely, his green eyes staring back at her.

 

Sora peeked his head around one more time, sure that there were no guards out there. With his free hand, he motioned for Namine and Roxas to follow. He held his Keblade lightly at his side as he rounded the corner and ran up to the door. He twisted the knob slightly and knew that it was unlocked, and he felt relieved. Yeah, he could have unlocked it with the Keyblade, but that would have made more noise.

Namine stayed close behind Sora, moving to the side slightly as she stood behind him, watching him turn the door knob.

 

Roxas followed them, keeping an eye out behind them as he held Oblivion tightly in his hand.

Kairi furrowed her eyebrows slightly as she glared at the man, not shifting her gaze.

The guard stepped forward, starting toward her. "What are you staring at?" he demanded harshly.

Kairi blinked in shock at the sound of his voice, not expecting it. Of course, she couldn't answer him with the tape over her mouth, not that she really wanted to.

OOC: You know, I always get kicked off at the worst of times. Dx I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!

 

Sora opened the door a crack, seeing a hallway appear in front of him. He let his eyes search the hall, and he saw one guard walking the opposite direction, a strange gun in hand. He was about halfway down the hall, so Sora knew that if he acted quickly, he could take down the guard without setting off any alarm. He silently motioned for Roxas and Namine to stay put, opening the door a little more and silently stepping inside.

Namine silently nodded in response to Sora, moving over to the wall next to the door as she waited. She exhaled softly, her eyes wandering the deserted area.

OOC: It's alright, I know how that works. See you tomorrow!

 

Roxas flexed his hand, loosening and then tightening his grip on Oblivion as he watched Sora slip through the door. He could feel his blood pulsing through his veins quickly from adrenaline, though no action was taking place. He used his free hand and lightly put it on Namine's shoulder, letting her know she was doing great.

The guard approached Kairi slowly, a gun in his grasp. His green eyes glared through Kairi's violet blue as he slowed his walk and looked down at her.

Kairi exhaled heavily through her nose from nerves, not liking that this man was staring so weirdly at her. She kept her eyebrows furrowed slightly as she stared back at him, shifting slightly from the tightness of the ropes.

 

Namine jumped slightly at the touch, her eyes wandering over to Roxas. She silently acknowledged him with her eyes, seeing care in his piercing blue orbs.

Sora stealthily made his way up the hall, walking softly as he sneaked up behind the man. When he was close enough, he swung his keyblade at the back of the guard's head. The thug grunted softly before falling to the ground, his limp body showing that he had gone unconcious. Sora let his eyes wander, and he was relieved that there wasn't a video camera or anthing. For the first time, he noticed a door at the end of this straight hall. That was good; that meant there wasn't a chance that anybody had heard him come in.

 

Roxas gave Namine's shoulder a light squeeze, not meaning to scare her. He nodded at her with a faint smile. Though he knew this was no time to be smiling, he was just letting her know how well she was doing.

"Stop wiggling, girl. You'll never get loose from those ropes," the guard, Scott, informed her. "Not that you have any reason to; you'll never escape. Not even the legendary Keyblade Master can save you now." He smirked at her evilly.

Kairi used her vocals, firing back at his words, but her voice was only muffled behind the tape across her mouth as she glared up at him angrily. You're wrong! she tried to scream.

Scott chuckled, and turned to look over his shoulder at the other guard. "Hey, Johnson," he called. "Check this out; looks like our little Princess has something to say." He turned back around to look down at Kairi as Johnson started toward him.

 

Namine faintly returned Roxas' smile, her eyes holding his for a moment. She could tell that he meant it as encouragement, and she wondered if he could tell how afraid she was.

Sora turned around and returned to the door, motioning for Roxas and Namine to follow him inside. The coast was clear, and they needed to get Kairi out of there before the guard woke up and triggered the alarm. Time was of the essence.

Namine saw the door open more and flitted her eyes over in that direction, seeing Sora there. He was gently waving for them to follow him. She returned his gaze as she stepped inside behind him, waiting for Roxas.

 

Roxas turned his eyes to the door, the smile vanishing at Sora's motion. He tightened his grip on the Keyblade and started to follow them.

Johnson joined Scott, looking down at the girl. "Have something to say, missy?"

Kairi looked at both of them, her eyebrows furrowed in anger. Leave me alone! she tried to say, but her voice was muffled from the tape.

Scott knelt down on one knee in front of Kairi, a smirk on his face. "She seems to be a little angry. Maybe it's because her Keyblade weilder let her get taken away?" He shook his head, acting upset. "What a terrible boy he was, just letting us take you away like that."

Stop it! You don't even know him! Kairi tried to say, but her murmurs couldn't be deciphered.

OOC: Oh, I have a plan with the harrassment. xDD

 

Sora started down the hall, keeping his breathing nearly silent as he approached the door about 30 feet away from the entrance. He leaned himself against the short wall right next to the doorway and motioned for Roxas and Namine to move to the side so he could open it without putting them in danger. If there was someone in there, he definitly didn't want them shooting his friends. Having your girlfriend kidnapped and sneaking in to rescue her was enough drama for one day.

Namine followed Sora down the hall, Roxas' kind gesture actually making her want to hold onto him tight and never let go. Having him there was so comforting, and she just wanted him to be brave enough for the two of them. Still, she knew that wasn't an option. She had to focus on helping in any way she could. Her thoughts ended when she saw what Sora was trying to tell her, and she obeyed.

Roxas stood to the side, following Sora's order and standing next to Namine. He stayed close to her, not wanting any harm coming to her. If anything did happen to her, if he let anything happen...No, there was no way he was going to let anyone harm her. He would never allow it.

Scott leaned a little closer to Kairi. "Some Prince he was for you, Princess Kairi. That naive Keyblader. A real Keyblade Master would've fought for his love."

Kairi felt the tears start to come in fury and sadness at what they were saying about Sora. Her voice grew louder, though it was muffled as she fired back. Stop it! You have no idea what he went through! Leave him alone! Leave me alone! Just go away!

Scott arched a brow. "What was that? I'm sorry, I couldn't understand you behind that tape," he apologized sarcastically, but then he lifted his hand toward her face, causing Kairi to try and turn away from his reach. Scott grabbed the tape on her mouth and peeled it off, but not completely.

"Get away from me, you creep!" Kairi cried at the top of her lungs before spitting in Scott's face. She watched him jerk back in surprise before wiping off her spit. Kairi's eyes caught him bringing his hand back. The next thing she knew, she had her eyes squeezed shut and her head turned the other way, her cheek stinging in pain.

"Some Princess you are," Scott growled as he pushed the tape back against her mouth, then standing up. "You have fire in you, I'll give you that. But you're pathetic for thinking it'll make any difference now."

Kairi kept her eyes closed, her head still turned away from the slap. She felt a tear fall from behind her eyelids, leaving her watery eyes and slowly starting to slide down her cheek.

 

Sora growled softly in anger, suddenly feeling frustration and rage in his heart. He shook his head slightly, chasing away the emotions. Where had they come from? He must have brought them back up...and he knew he couldn't afford to do that right now. He had to focus on getting to Kairi. He peeked an eye through the door, seeing two guards standing by a door. They weren't facing him, but he was sure they could see the door out of the corner of their eyes. And he knew in his heart that Kairi was in there. After all, what other rooms would have two guards outside them? Sora raised two fingers to Roxas and Namine, letting them know about the guards. He motioned for them to stay put.

Namine silently nodded in response to Sora, suddenly becoming more nervous. She saw something in Sora's eyes...some kind of frustration. It was only for a brief moment, but she knew that things weren't completely right. But then again, that could have just been because Kairi was taken away from them.

 

OOC: Post before this one was my "plan". Took 15 minutes to freakin' type out. Dx

Roxas' eyebrows furrowed a little more. He shook his head slightly. How could Sora take on two guards alone? If one fell, the other would turn around and see Sora immediately, and that would be bad.

Kairi felt her tear slide over her burning cheek. If Sora was inside, she hoped he had at least heard her scream, that way he would know which room she was in. This place was pretty big for an abandoned warehouse, and she didn't want him to end up going the wrong direction...which would be bad for both of them. Kairi felt her hair stick to her now wettened face as she kept her eyes closed, her head still turned away from the two men that stood in front of her.

"I don't think I've ever seen a Princess like her before," Scott said to Johnson as he kept his glare on Kairi.

 

Sora didn't care about Roxas' concern, knowing that he was strong enough to take on two. He was more concerned about speed, since he couldn't let either of them trigger an alarm. He ignored his friend and decided simply to rush in and knock them out before they saw him. He could surprise one of them, and then fight off the other one. It was the only option he really had. He tightened his grip on his Keyblade and quickly opened the door, taking a step in and then shutting it behind him. He charged forward, his form a blur as he swung at the closest guard. The man didn't even have a chance to respond, which he was thankful for. The tip of he keyblade ran deep along the man's chest, and the thug fell to the ground, probably dead.

The second guard, shocked by Sora's appearance, instinctively took a step back before reaching for his gun. But he didn't have a chance to fire it, because Sora suddenly appeared in front of him and knocked the weapon to the floor. He stared at Sora with wide eyes before he felt the Keyblade knock him on the side of the head, a cry leaving his lips as he fell to the ground.

Sora furrowed his brows at the cry, hoping that it didn't bring any attention to him. He shifted his eyes to the door, seeing a lock on it. He took a few steps away, standing in front of the door as he held up his Keyblade. A streak of white light came out of it and shot into the ancient looking lock, a clicking sound reverberating through the area as it unlocked.

Namine kept her eyes on the door beside her, feeling uneasy with the noise of battle and silence afterward.

OOC: That's all right, since I was kicked off for about 10 of those minutes anyway. xDD

 

Roxas gripped his Keyblade tightly as he saw Sora disappear and then he listened, hearing the sounds from the action and then a cry, which he suddenly hoped wouldn't cause attention. Then he heard silence, waiting to hear anything else.

Scott started to say something but stopped, holding up a hand so Johnson wouldn't question. He thought he heard something and he waited a few seconds before letting his hand fall and releasing a breath, starting to talk again about Kairi.

Kairi took in a shaky breath through her nose, fear and sadness, as well as fury, running through her.

 

Sora rushed over to the door and softly opened it back up, motioning for Roxas and Namine to follow him to the door that he had just unlocked. He was trembling slightly from the rush of adrenaline, sweat making a few of his spikey bangs stick to his forehead.

Namine wasn't sure exactly what was going on, but she was relieved to see that Sora was okay. She walked in through the door, taking one step past him so Roxas could get in too.

 

Roxas took in a silent breath through his nose and followed through the door.

Kairi felt the burning of her cheek just then start to fade a little, but it still hurt. That man had smacked her. Hard. He obviously got the memo that she was valuable, but she was surprised that they were treating her so roughly. Just the thought of it made another tear stray from her closed eyes as she let her head face away from the men, not even wanting to look at them.

 

Sora walked up toward the door and switched his keyblade to his left hand as he removed the heavy lock with his right hand, leaning down and lightly setting it on the ground. Sora quickly motioned for Namine and Roxas to move to either side of the wall, not thinking of a plan until that very moment. Kairi had told him that the guards were right by the door, and he had to assume that they still were. No point in sneaking in; he would need to be very quickly and very hard.

Namine pushed herself up against the wall, a few feet away from the entrance of the door as she gazed at Sora, waiting for further instruction.

 

Kairi started to wonder if Sora was okay. She hadn't spoken to him in a while, and she was a little afraid something happened. But if something did, these guards wouldn't be with her and discussing her like she was a brand new discovery in the world. Kairi would've tried speaking to Sora, but she feared that he would be able to feel the emotions inside her heart, and she didn't want him to grow even more worried about her than he already was...

Scott and Johnson held their guns loosely at their sides, too into the conversation to be on guard.

Roxas followed the order and pushed himself against the wall, gripping Oblivion tightly.
