KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi flitted her eyes up to Sora after examining her necklace again, her eyes running over his features. His cheeks were tinted and his hair in his eyes.

 

Sora's chest rose and fell as he slept, the boy comfortable with Kairi next to him.

 

Kairi carefully lifted up a hand and gently swept his brown spikes out of his face, hoping not to wake him.

 

Sora exhaled softly, faintly noticing the kind gesture as he slept.

 

Kairi smiled a little and then leaned her head against his shoulder again.

 

Namine smiled softly at the couple, seeing how content they looked together. Even if things were bad, they still stuck together and kept loving each other.

 

Kairi looked down at her hands in her lap, taking in a deep breath.

 

One week later...

Sora had mostly recovered from his cold, though he still felt a little sick. Still though, he was relieved that he could finally be up and moving again. He had mostly slept the past week, with Kairi there each day. Roxas and Namine were constantly checking up on him too. And now, even though it was late Febuary, it felt like Spring had arrive. Sora smiled faintly as he walked toward his home, two grocery bags in hand. The four of them had agreed to meet at Sora's home and then go out for a picnic in the park. He was sure that the others were already at his house waiting for him, so he picked up his pace as he headed home.

Namine stood with Roxas in the living room of Sora's house, patiently waiting for the brunette to return home. Sora had left a note saying that he was just running out to the store really quickly, so neither of the blondes bothered taking off their coats and shoes as they waited with Kairi.

 

Kairi couldn't help but have a small smile on her face, too glad that things had brightened up in the last week. The weather had gotten warmer, the snow slowly melting from existence and thus giving them the freedom to wear lighter coats, which she was doing today. She was also happy that Sora appeared better, and now that they were all going to go out today, she knew they were all going to enjoy themselves.

Roxas had his eyes looking out the window as he stood next to Namine, seeing numerous cars drive by. Today was a nice day and he couldn't wait to get out into the fresh air.

 

Sora walked on the sidewalks, passing the other people heading in the other direction as he headed toward home. He just had to get everything together when he got home, and then they could all leave for their picnic.

Namine exhaled softly and flitted her eyes to Roxas, a small smile planted on her lips. She was looking forward to a great day.

 

Kairi had her hands behind her back as she let her eyes fall on the pictures in Sora's home--a few family portraits and also a few pictures framed of the four of them together.

Roxas felt eyes on him, but care and love behind the gaze. A small smile formed on his lips as he turned his head to look down at Namine.

 

Sora exhaled as he walked, getting closer to home. He was looking forward to the picnic, and doing something that wouldn't end up with any more injuries. Last week had been pretty crazy, and he was just glad it was over.

Namine softly returned his smile, her eyes gazing into his.

 

Roxas' smiled grew a little and his eyes brightened some at her expression, loving when she smiled. He didn't take his eyes off her as he reached for her hand.

 

Namine flitted her eyes down for one second when she felt his hand touch hers. She lifted her eyes up and smiled at Roxas, loving his gentleness.

 

Roxas returned his smile with one of his own, showing his teeth as he gently squeezed her hand.

A man in his late twenties drove down the road in a white van, his partners in the vehicle with him. The sun shined over his black sunglasses and his tan skin, his white shirt showing his muscles as he held onto the steering wheel with one hand. He ran his free hand over his dark brown hair in a buzz cut. He turned the corner of one of the streets, heading to his destination.

OOC: Yeah, that's the best I could come up with. xDD

 

Namine smiled into Roxas' eyes, her teeth showing slightly as she returned the gesture.

OOC: That's good. =)

 

Kairi nibbled on her lip subconciously as she waited for Sora to arrive.

Roxas gazed into her lovely blue eyes lovingly, excited for the day to get started.

"We're almost there," Smith commented from his position in the front passenger's seat, talking to his leader. He had on a tight, black T-shirt, which really showed off his muscles. He wore dark black shades over his eyes, and had his black hair tied back in a short ponytail. As soon as they got to the house, they'd break in, stop any resistance, and then take away the Princess. It sounded simple enough, but nothing could ever be that simple when the Keyblade bearer was involved. He anxiously kept his eyes on the house as the van approached it.

Sora continued to walk home, two blocks away now.

Namine continued to gaze into his eyes, not saying a word. The silence was peaceful.

 

Carter, the leader, nodded at Smith's statement. A few more houses and they would arrive at the Keyblade bearer's home, where they were sure the Princess would be.

Kairi continued to nibble on her lip, looking out the window for a second before looking down at the floor and at her feet.

OOC: xD I love the names.

 

Smith turned around and faced the four henchmen that sat in the back. "Remember, men, no using your swords here. This world isn't like the others we're going to, you here? Knives only for you." Smith smirked at the men and pulled up his handgun, pointing it toward the roof of the van. "And this gun for me."

Sora shuffled the bags in his hands, heading toward home. Just a few more minutes and he'd be home, and then they could start a fun-filled day.
