KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi let her eyes follow her hand as she slowly moved her fingers along Sora's arm. She'd comfort him any way she could.

 

Sora turned his head and slowly opened his eyes, his orbs quickly finding Kairi's. He took in a quiet breath, grateful for the soft and caring touch.

 

As she stroked his arm, Kairi flitted her eyes up to meet Sora's piercing blue. "Are you feeling any better?" she asked softly, so softly it was almost a whisper.

 

Sora nodded slightly, his eyes staying on Kairi's "Emotionally, I am," he admitted softly, being honest with the girl he loved so dearly. "Other than that, I'm still not feeling too good."

 

Kairi nodded slightly as her fingers traveled up his arm. "That's better than nothing at all," she said with a faint smile, trying to think positive.

 

Sora faintly returned Kairi's smile in agreement, his eyes flitting down to the hand that ran over his arm. He followed the motion with his eyes, the light touch comforting him.

 

Kairi followed his gaze to his arm, letting her fingers make their way slowly down his arm again.

 

Sora exhaled softly at the loving touch before flitting his eyes back up to Kairi, his eyes finding hers. "I think it's time we got up off the bathroom floor," he said gently, his voice pretty soft.

 

Kairi smiled slightly. "I think you're right," she agreed quietly. Her hand left his arm as she gave his hand a gentle squeeze. Her left hand then left his before she started to push herself up.

 

Sora lowered his eyes to the floor as he slowly moved his legs from underneath him, keeping his left knee on the floor as he put down his right foot. He exhaled softly and lifted one hand to the counter, grabbing onto it and slowly pulling himself up.

 

Kairi stood up straight and fixed her navy blue shirt before flitting her eyes to Sora.

 

Sora kept his eyes down as he brought himself into a fully upright position, his head spinning for a brief moment after that. He grunted softly and brought one hand to his head, a fierce headache suddenly starting up again.

 

Kairi eyebrows furrowed slightly over her violet-blue eyes in concern. He needed medicine.

 

Sora blinked and lowered his hand back to his side, the headache dying down a little bit. He slowly lifted his eyes to Kairi, seeing her concerned blue orbs piercing his.

 

"Did you already take medicine?" she asked softly in curiosity. Kairi could only physically see that he had a headache, which was pretty apparent by the way he had grabbed his head. She figured they needed to get rid of that.

 

Sora nodded his head slightly. "Yeah," he answered quietly, wishing that it would have helped him in some way.

 

"And it hasn't worked?" Kairi wondered, arching an eyebrow slightly.

 

Sora shook his head slightly, gazing at the ground. "Apparently," he responded softly.

 

Kairi bit her lip. That was a little odd, but she guessed it depended on what he took and how much of it he used.

 

Sora lowered his head slightly and shut his eyes halfway as he gazed at the floor, thinking. Medicine normally didn't help him for some reason, though he wasn't sure why. Maybe he had just built up immunities to whatever medicine had in it during the time that he had travelled to different worlds. That was the only reason he could think of to explain it.
