KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi nodded slightly and flitted her eyes downward, thinking. She wasn't sure of exactly what they could do today, especially after yesterday's accident. Going outside was probably out of the question.

 

Sora bit his lip lightly when he suddenly felt like he was punched in the stomach, the feeling not caused by anything Kairi had done. He shut his eyes halfway and gazed at the floor, feeling nauseous.

 

Watching a movie? No, everyone did that yesterday, plus Namine and Roxas are asleep in the living room anyway. Well, what else was there to do? Kairi couldn't think of anything.

 

"Excuse me for just a second?" Sora asked awkwardly, feeling as if he were going to vomit. He shifted his eyes toward the doorway to the hall and started toward it, not waiting for an answer.

 

Kairi looked up at his slightly shaky voice, her eyes finding Sora traveling toward the doorway. Her arms came to her sides as she wondered what was going on.

 

Sora walked through the doorway and made a left, walking down the hall and toward the bathroom, his legs shakily carrying him toward the toilet. Before he even recognized it was happening, he was kneeling in front of the toilet, vommiting his breakfast/lunch.

 

Kairi bit her lip as she looked down at her feet, worried.

 

Sora coughed loudly, the noise echoing loudly through the bathroom. He weakly lifted one hand and put it on the wall beside him, his body trembling from the vomitting.

Namine shifted slightly in her sleep, a noise she didn't recognize entering her ears.

 

Kairi squeezed her eyes shut at the noise, knowing exactly what was going on.

 

Sora coughed several more times before bringing his head away from the toilet, his chest rising with each breath he inhaled. He shut his eyes and felt one tear leak out as he leaned his head against the wall beside him, feeling absolutely awful.

 

Kairi opened her eyes sadly when the noise stopped, now understanding why Sora had left in such a hurry. His exposure to such cold weather had weakened his immune system, which why he was unfortunately sick.

Roxas shifted a little in his sleep from the noise, but let out a sigh through his nose when he entered a deeper state of unconciousness again.

 

Sora coughed softly and sat there against the wall for a few moments, feeling too weak to move. He inhaled through his mouth, a small hiccup escaping his lips.

 

Kairi hesitated for a moment, wondering if she should go check on him. She could care less about being exposed to sickness, but she cared so much about Sora.

 

Sora turned his head into the wall and put one hand by his head, thinking in the back of his mind that he would like some kind of comforting touch. But at the same time, he didn't want Kairi to see him sick.

This brings back fond memories, doesn't it? The nasty thought entered Sora's mind, and he wondered where it had come from. He shook his head slightly, feeling nauseous at that thought as well. Still, he knew he didn't have anything left to vommit, so that was over.

 

Kairi took a few steps forward, but then stopped. She began to wonder how Sora would feel if she saw him in his state right now. She didn't want him to be upset, but she really wanted to make sure he was all right.

 

Sora bit his lip lightly and swallowed hard, not moving from his spot. He was sure that Kairi would come back to check on him after the loud rucus he had made, and he wasn't sure he minded too much. He felt too awful to really care about his appearance, he just knew that he wanted her nearby.

 

Kairi made a face of disgust at her own hesitation. Why was she stalling? She was worried about him and wanted to make sure he was all right, and that mattered more than anything else. Kairi walked through the kitchen to the doorway, heading out into the hall.

 

Sora exhaled softly, his cheeks burning again as he turned his head, letting his cheek lightly rest against the cool tile wall. He kept his eyes shut as he inhaled, his breathing returning to normal again.

 

Kairi slowed her pace as she got closer to the bathroom door. She approached it, putting one hand on the doorframe as she arrived at the doorway. Her eyes widened slightly at the sight of Sora, her orbs shining with concern.

 

Sora opened his eyes halfway as he moved himself away from the wall, finally finding the energy to reach forward and flush the toilet. He put his hand on the handle and heard the toilet flush away everything. He leaned back and let his head rest against the wall again, his eyes catching onto something. He sadly lifted his eyes toward the door and saw Kairi standing there, concern in her eyes.
