KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

"I know you don't," Roxas said softly, looking down at his hands clasped together. He shifted his elbows a little on his knees, biting his lip when his right elbow rang out in pain from putting pressure on his bruise.

 

Sora unclapsed his hands for a moment and then put them back together, his eyes falling on them as he spoke. "Sometimes...you just have to forgive yourself for those things," he said, thinking back to what he had learned throughout everything he had been through.

 

The pain subsided as Roxas nodded in understanding. Sora was more knowledgeable than him, he had to admit. Roxas understood that Sora knew what he was talking about, and he knew Sora was right. Sora didn't seem to blame him, just like Kairi and Namine, so Roxas understood now that he was just making a big deal out of something that seemed so small to them.

OOC: Sorry. My sister took over the computer to make a CD. D8 I'll see you later, 'kay? Bye.

 

Out of the corner of his eye, Sora noticed Roxas nod. He felt a different aura in the room, as if a little bit of pressure had been lifted. That was good...but he knew that some of the tension was because of his own heavy heart. Yesterday had been too close for comfort, and he was still a little shaken up. Still, he would get over it. He didn't have a choice.

OOC: I was kicked off all afternoon anyway, and I'll probably be kicked off around 9 my time too. Dx

 

Roxas bit his lip, lifting his gaze to the wall ahead of him as the silence hung in the air, a little lighter than before.

OOC: Oh, that's all right. I wouldn't be surprised if I get kicked off earlier than that. =/

 

Sora stayed in that position as he let his head hang, his eyes closing for a moment as his headache grew more intense. He exhaled softly, suddenly feeling sick again. He had felt better for most of the talk with Roxas, but now he wasn't feeling good again.

 

Roxas flitted his eyes down to his hands and then over at Sora's form. "Are you sure you're all right?" he asked again, wondering how his friend was feeling after they solved his own problem.

 

Sora unclapsed his hands and lifted one to the side of his head, letting it rest lightly on his temple as he tried to make the headache subside. "I'll be fine," he answered simply, not opening his eyes as he spoke. He didn't know if Roxas was asking because he physically looked sick, or if there was another reason. He had a feeling he was talking about an emotional problem though...not his sickness.

 

Roxas kept his gaze on him, his eyes concerned. "If you're sure," he said softly.

 

Sora exhaled softly, wondering why he felt so awful all of a sudden. Maybe it was because the focus was back on him now; The discussion with Roxas had distracted him from his sick feeling for a while, and now that it was over, he was feeling awful again. It made sense in a sick way...proving that he needed to think more about his friends than himself.

 

Roxas sighed and stood up, stretching a little. "I guess I'll leave you be. The girls are probably wondering how you're doing."

 

"I should probably head out..." Sora thought aloud, opening his eyes and lifting his head slightly as he gazed at the wall in front of him.

 

Roxas nodded. "Whenever you're ready," he said with a small smile before starting toward the door.

 

Sora looked over at Roxas and returned his small smile, before letting his elbows come off his knees. He placed one hand on the bed and pushed himself up, off balance for a short moment when his vision swam. He blinked, everything returning to normal.

 

Roxas approached the door and then turned a little, looking over at Sora.

 

Sora lowered his hand from his head and put it to his side, giving Roxas a small nod as he too started for the door. He wasn't feeling good, and he was very surprised that Roxas didn't seem to notice it.

 

Roxas looked at Sora, his eyes following him as he approached the door. His eyes seemed dim, and his cheeks rosy. Roxas kept his small smile on his face as he waited to follow Sora out.

 

Sora softly returned Roxas' smile as he approached the door and walked past his friend, bringing one hand to his head and running it through his spiky hair.

 

Roxas followed him out and walked a step or two behind him in the hallway.

 

Sora exhaled softly, his eyes falling to the ground as he stopped messing with his hair, his hand returning to his side as he made his way to the living room.

Namine, sitting on the couch now, softly exhaled, wondering exactly how Roxas and Sora were doing.
