KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi kept her small smile on her face as she sat herself up, her legs bent as they remained on the couch. She ran a hand through her red hair, trying to get rid of the "bed hair". As she did, she let out a small yawn, one arm against one of her knees.

 

Namine kept her gentle eyes on Kairi, a small smile on her lips as she watched Kairi become more awake. She really hoped that her friend had gotten a good night's rest; she deserved it.

 

Kairi sighed softly, her eyes falling on the blanket draped over her. A questionable look came across her face, curious as to how she had gotten a blanket.

 

Namine smiled slightly at Kairi's confused look, knowing what she was thinking. At that moment, she also remembered that she had a fleece blanket wrapped around her shoulders still. It was so light and comfortable that she had forgotten about it.

 

Kairi blinked and then looked at Roxas and Namine, finding blankets around them as well. Her expression faded when she realized who was missing, and who was most likely responsible for the blankets.

 

"Sora must have brought them out when we were sleeping," Namine said softly, saying what they were all thinking at that moment.

 

Kairi nodded. "Do you guys know where he is?" she asked, looking to both blondes.

Roxas shrugged slightly. "I haven't seen him at all today."

 

Namine shook her head slightly. "I haven't seen him either," she replied in a soft voice.

Sora exhaled softly and kept his elbows on his knees as he raised his hands, putting them on either side of his head as he let his eyes fall to the floor. He shut his eyes tiredly as he sat there on his bed.

 

Kairi bit her lip and looked back down at the blanket again. She wondered if he was okay...

 

Namine flitted her eyes to the floor, silence overtaking the room again.

 

Kairi continued to nibble on her lip. She wanted to go make sure he was all right, but she didn't want to seem so motherly over him.

 

Namine exhaled softly, wondering if one of them should go check on Sora. He hadn't said much since the incident yesterday, and she was a little worried about him.

 

Roxas stared at the blanket on his lap. Maybe he should go see if Sora was okay, and he wanted to apologize to Sora for the incident anyway.

 

Sora exhaled softly, staying in that position. He didn't hear any noise in the living room, so he assumed that his friends were still asleep. He was glad they were resting; he didn't want them to be up and worrying about him, even if he wasn't completely alright. He felt himself shiver, despite his burning cheeks and forehead.

 

"...I'll go check on him," Roxas insisted, putting his hands on the couch as he slowly pushed himself up.

 

Namine nodded softly at the blond, her eyes following him as he rose to his feet.

 

Kairi responded with a nod, her eyes trailing Roxas as he left the room.

Roxas headed down the hallway, scratching his head as he made his way toward Sora's room.

 

Sora kept his eyes shut as he moved his hands slightly, his head down as he held his head in his hands. He had such a nasty headache, and he felt feverish too. Still though, he would just chill out by himself for a little while, and then he'd go check on his friends once he was better. He didn't want to worry them anymore.

Roxas walked down the hallway, approaching Sora's door. He knocked on it a few times before stopping, waiting for a response.

 

Sora perked up when he heard a knock on the door, at that moment remembering that he had closed it earlier. "Come in," he said, bringing his head out of his hands and clapsing them in front of him, his elbows staying on his lap as he looked at the door.
