KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi took the disc out of the player and put it back in its case. She pushed a button on the TV, turning the screen off.

Roxas turned the icepack over before looking at his elbow. The swelling had gone down a bit, which was good, but the bruise was still there. He put the colder side of the used icepack against his elbow again.

OOC: Aw, yowch. Being sick stinks. I have a really bad cough right now, and I'm getting really annoyed. =(

 

Sora exhaled softly in his sleep, dead to the world.

Namine brought a hand up to her face and gently tucked some of her hair behind her ear again, bringing it out of her face.

OOC: Ugh, that stinks. Dx

 

Kairi stood up and stretched a little, a small yawn escaping her. Her muscles relaxed as she turned around, her eyes falling on Sora. She wasn't surprised to find him asleep; she knew he was exhausted.

OOC: Yeah. I can't wait to get rid of it. x__x

 

Namine bit her lip lightly before flitting her eyes to Roxas.

Sora moved his head slightly, pushing it into the side of the couch a little harder. His sofa wasn't exactly a comfortable place to sleep, but he was out all the same.

 

Roxas felt a set of eyes on him and turned his head, his piercing blue orbs meeting light blue.

Kairi walked over to the couch, bending down in front of Sora to grab the water that was wedged between his leg and the couch. She lifted it gently from its place, noticing it was still a little cold. Sora probably wasn't a fan of anything cold right now, and the cold water bottle against his leg didn't help.

 

Namine smiled softly at Roxas when his eyes met hers.

 

Roxas returned her soft smile with one of his own, his blue eyes gazing into hers.

Kairi set the water bottle down on the endtable next to the couch, her eyes falling back on Sora's sleeping form.

 

Namine silently searched Roxas' eyes, seeing if he was okay. But in a way, she could tell that he was, just through his small smile. She felt her smile grow slightly at his.

Sora's breathing was even as he slept soundly.

 

Roxas' expression stayed the same as he looked into Namine's eyes.

Kairi bit her lip slightly and brought a hand forward, gently sweeping a few spikes out of Sora's eyes.

 

Sora exhaled softly in his sleep, too out of it to respond to the kind gesture.

 

Kairi took her hand away when she could clearly see his closed eyes and leaned back, sighing softly. "He's gone," she said softly.

Roxas tore his eyes away from Namine's at the soft spoken words. "Out like a light, huh?" he asked quietly.

 

Namine turned her body slightly at gazed over at the sleeping boy, noticing how wiped out he appeared.

 

Kairi nodded at Roxas' question. "Yeah," she replied quietly, her eyes still on Sora's calm face.

Roxas nodded slightly. Sora appeared exhausted before, and he guessed he just needed to relax before he finally left conciousness.

 

Sora's chest rose at a slow, even pace as he slept, completely oblivious to the fact that his friends were all staring at him.

 

Kairi tucked some of her red hair behind her ear, her eyes shifting to her friends. "Do you guys have any idea what time it is?" she asked quietly.

 

Namine shrugged slightly, not noticing a clock in the room. Her eyes found the window and she gaze outside, seeing that the sun was a little low in the sky. "I'm guessing around 4 or 5," Namine said slowly, figuring that the sun would set in about an hour.

 

Kairi followed her gaze out the window, looking over her shoulder slightly. She nodded in agreement. She was tired as well, the fun she had earlier today and the drama causing her to get worn out.

 

Namine started thinking; her and Roxas should probably leave before it got too dark, unless they were staying overnight. She understood if Roxas wanted to stay to make sure that Sora was all right, considering the circumstances.

 

Roxas lifted the icepack from his elbow carefully, then slowly straightening his arm. It was stiff from being the same position for so long. He was pretty sure the swelling had gone down, but he knew it was probably bruised. He let his arm loosen, resting his hand in his lap as he started thinking. He was pretty sure every one of them was drained from the action today, and he didn't know if he wanted to leave unless he was sure Sora was all right. The brunet was like a brother to him, and he wanted to be sure he was okay.

 

Namine exhaled softly and leaned back into the couch, suddenly feeling tired.
