KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

"What's he got?" Roxas asked, seeing many movies in front of Kairi.

"By the looks of it, practically every movie you can imagine," Kairi said jokingly, looking over her shoulder at them with a smile on her face.

 

Namine laughed softly and gently pushed herself off the couch, stepping forward and kneeling down by Kairi to see what was in there.

Sora accidentally dropped a bottle and flinched at the bang it made when landing on the hard kitchen floor.

 

Kairi turned her head at the noise, curious, but then turned her attention back to the movies in front of her and Namine.

 

Sora let out a heavy breath in frustration and leaned over, picking up the bottle in his hands as he shuffled to hold them all. He slowly brought himself upright again and held two bottles in his right hand and one in his left as he started back into the living room.

"This is a good movie," Namine said, reaching forward and gently taking out "The Pursuit of Happiness".

 

Kairi looked at the case cover, remembering watching the movie but not remembering most of it. She nodded in agreement and held her hand out for the DVD so she could put it in the player.

 

Namine looked over and saw Kairi's outstreched hand as she opened up the DVD case and took out the disk, laying it on Kairi's hand.

"Here you go," Sora said, standing by Roxas and holding out one of the bottles of water.

 

"Thank you," Kairi said before moving toward the TV to put the disc in.

Roxas lifted one of his hands and took the water bottle. "Thanks."

 

"Mmhmm," Namine responded, closing the case and setting on top of the DVD player. She put both her hands on the ground and pushed herself up, straightening her jeans when she was fully upright.

"Your arm feeling any better?" Sora asked, softening his voice slightly as he moved his gaze to Roxas' arm.

 

Kairi pushed the eject button on the DVD player and placed the disc in before it went back in.

Roxas nodded. "Yeah, it is," he said, his tone matching Sora's.

 

Sora nodded softly at his response, switching so he held a water bottle in each hand. "Good," he answered, a faint smile appearing on his lips.

Namine straightened her shirt and turned around, heading back over to the couch and sitting next to Roxas again.

 

Roxas nodded with a small smile and then flitted his eyes to the girl that sat next to him.

Kairi looked up at the screen of the TV and pushed the power button, turning it on. She then looked back down at the DVD player, pushing the "play" button to start the movie.

 

Namine turned her gaze toward Roxas, a small smile appearing on her lips when she saw Roxas' faint smile.

Sora moved on, walking in front of the couch before setting himself down on the end of the couch, exhaling softly in exhaustion. He would try to stay awake through the movie, but he didn't know how well he would actually be able to do that.

 

Kairi looked up at the screen at the Title menu came on, and she pushed the play button again as the movie started. She pushed herself up from the floor, straightening her navy blue shirt when she stood up, and started toward the couch to sit down.

Roxas' smile grew a little at Namine's own. He looked into her eyes for a moment and then flitted his piercing blue eyes to the TV when he heard the movie start.

 

Namine held Roxas' gaze for a moment, then turned her eyes when she saw the title screen disapeared and the movie began.

Sora flitted his blue eyes to Kairi and held out a water bottle for Kairi in his hand, keeping his by his side as he watched her approach.

 

Kairi felt a small smile form on her lips. "Thanks," she said, taking the water bottle and then sitting down next to him. She unscrewed the cap and took a sip as she watched the scene unfold on the screen.

OOC: I don't remember anything about this movie. xD

 

"Sure," Sora answered softly, gazing at the screen as he opened up his bottle and took a few sips, the movie starting now.

OOC: I saw it less than a week ago and I hardly remember anything. xDD

 

Kairi screwed the cap back on and watched the opening scenes, the room silent as everyone concentrated on the movie.

OOC: I haven't seen it in the longest time. The only part I really remember is him working on the Rubic's cube and then ditching the cab. xDD

 

Throughout the whole movie, Sora had a hard time keeping his eyes open. But every once in a while, he would notice his friends looking over at him, making sure he was alright. It was mostly Kairi, with her soft violet blue eyes. Surprisingly, he stayed awake for most of the movie, drinking the whole bottle of water before it was even a quarter of the way done. But he fell asleep during the final 10 minutes, his head leaning against the side of the couch as a few of his spikes from his hair laid over his eyes.

OOC: Thinking about it now, I remember more than I thought. xD

 

Kairi watched the final minutes of the movie take place and then when the credits started to roll, she gently pushed herself up from the couch and walked over to the TV, turning off the movie.

OOC: xD It was a good movie, but it's just been so long.
Oh, and sorry about leaving. Database Error shut me out and then my parents kicked me off. Dx

 

Namine sat still on the couch by Roxas, blinking her eyes because she had stared at the screen for a while. She hadn't seen the movie for a while, and she had forgotten how good it was.

OOC: It's okay, I got off soon afterward anyway 'cause I was feeling sick. Dx
