KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi approached his door and exited his room, walking out into the hall. Her eyes looked ahead of her, noticing to blondes standing by the front door.

Roxas took in a breath silently as he kept his eyes locked with Namine's, his thumbs rubbing the back of her hands softly.

 

Once she was gone, Sora let out a soft sigh and took a step back toward his bed. He silently sat himself down and leaned forward, his elbows resting on his knees as he took his weight off his shaky legs. He lifted his hands and put them in his hair, his head facing down as he shut his eyes.

Namine exahaled softly and kept her eyes locked with Roxas' for a moment, until she noticed a redhead in the corner of her eye. She turned her head slightly and gazed over at Kairi.

 

Roxas followed Namine's gaze, turning his head to see Kairi coming down the hall.

Kairi caught their glances, and offered them a small smile as she walked closer to them.

 

Sora shook his head softly, taking in a deep breath and then shakily letting it out. He still wasn't feeling completely right, but he felt like he had caused his friends enough worry for one day. But then again, if he collapsed in front of them, they would be even more worried...He sighed softly, wondering what he should do.

Namine smiled softly at Kairi, her eyes moving to Roxas for one moment before looking to Kairi again.

 

"Sora's doing much better," Kairi stated softly as she approached the two of them. Her small smile was still on her face. "He'll be out in a few minutes."

Roxas let out a breath in relief. "That's good news," he replied as he looked at the redhead. Knowing that he was feeling better helped Roxas relax a little more than Namine had caused him to with her comfort.

 

Sora exhaled softly, feeling himself becoming more exhausted. He shivered again when some water from his hair fell on his neck. With a soft sound of disgust, he pushed himself off the bed and silently walked out his room and into the bathroom to get a towel to dry his hair. It was time to end that annoying dripping that constantly reminded him of what had happened.

Namine nodded in agreement, her smile growing slightly as she shifted her gaze to Roxas, hearing some of the tension leave his voice.

 

Kairi nodded with a small smile, though she was still concerned about Sora's energy.

Roxas let one of his hands slip out of Namine's, bringing it up to the back of his head and rubbing it along his blond spikes. He let out another soft breath before meeting Namine's gaze.

 

Sora reached into a drawer, grabbing a towel and bringing it up to his head. He suddenly hissed when the towel touched the back of his head, causing him pain. At that moment, though, he really couldn't think of any reasons why his head should have been hurting so badly. He exhaled shakily and finished drying his hair, hanging up the towel on a hanger and walking back into his room. He sat back down on his bed again, in the same position as earlier as he shut his eyes, feeling even more exhausted.

Namine smiled softly at Roxas, reassuring him with her eyes. Everything was going to be alright now...she just knew it.

 

Roxas nodded once with a slight smile at the expression in Namine's eyes, understanding the meaning behind the look. He let his hand fall to his side.

 

Sora exhaled softly and let his hands fall to his sides. Just one minute of rest wouldn't hurt...He let himself fall back slightly, his back resting on the comfortable matress as he kept his eyes shut, his head lightly on its side as he exhaled comfortably.

Namine shifted her hand slightly in Roxas' and took hold of his, lightly squeezing it.

 

Roxas returned Namine's gesture with a small smile, appreciating her comfort.

Kairi had a feeling that Sora was going to push himself to his limits, staying awake when he was obviously exhausted. He already was, which worried her. She didn't want him collapsing for pushing himself to far, which would only make matters worse. She bit her lip and turned her unfocused gaze to the floor beneath her feet.

 

Sora shivered again, still a little cold. He moved himself fully onto the bed and turned his body, his head resting on the pillows now. He promised himself he wouldn't fall asleep though; he had to try and make it through the day.

Namine softly returned Roxas' smile, seeing that he was feeling a little better now.

 

Kairi gnawed on her lips as she thought this over. She cared very much for Sora, and wanted him to be in the best condition possible, especially when something like Hypothermia occurs. It's not only about the cold, but the fact that Sora's life had been (and possibly still could be) at stake scared her a little. She never wanted to lose him.

 

Sora rolled over on his side, his closed eyes facing the door as he exhaled softly. Just one more minute of rest...

 

Kairi turned her body a little, looking over her shoulder and down the hall toward Sora's room. It had been quite a few minutes already, and was beginning to wonder what it could be that was taking him so long.

 

Sora slowly sat up in bed, shaky off his sleepiness. He had promised Kairi that he would come out in a few minutes, and he knew he had used up all those minutes. He pushed himself to the side of his bed, his legs dangling of the edge as he ran a hand through his damp hair.

 

Roxas tore his eyes away from the long gaze he had held with Namine, his piercing blue orbs finding Kairi's expression. "You okay?" he asked curiously.

Kairi blinked out of her thoughts, turning her head to him. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine," she insisted.

Roxas nodded once at her, noticing how deep in thought she had seemed.

OOC: I'm sorry about yesterday. I got a Database Error just as I was replying. D8 And I got one a few minutes ago as well...=/

 

Sora put his hands down on the bed beside him and stood himself up, having a small headache. But that headache was the least of his problems; he felt extremely exhauted. He shrugged slightly. Oh well, he'd just have to try his best to hide it. He exhaled softly and walked out of his bedroom and down the hall.

Namine turned her gaze to Kairi curiously, sensing that something wasn't alright even though she had said she was okay.

OOC: Not a problem; same thing happened to me. Dx This site is really starting to bug me...I'm concerned about possibly losing our posts. =/

 

Kairi felt another set of eyes on her, her violet-blue orbs falling on Namine. She read her expression and shook her head slightly. "I'm fine. Really."

OOC: That's what I was thinking. But the last post I copied and pasted into Word was right after Sora threw the snowball at Kairi from next to the tree. That was quite a few pages ago, and it'll take a while to copy all of them.

 

Namine smiled weakly, keeping her eyes on her friend. "Okay," she said softly, not pressing the issue any further.

Sora looked down at his feet for a few steps, and then lifted his head as he got closer to the end of the hall. He inhaled again and casually walked up to his friends.
