Demyx sighed in relief. "Now that we have that done...... I'm not sure if you know, but there's going to be a school dance in about a week...."

 

Axel went into teh kitchen and ate half a sandwich and then swore he heard something or someone talking. He quielt followed teh voice to a trapdoor and tried to listen what they are talking about.

 

That was news to Namine. "Really? I didn't even know..." she said sheepishly.

 

"Yeah, there's -" Demyx stopped. He heard something move on the floor above. He walked over to the trapdoor and flung it open. He grabbed Axel by the collar and said angrily "How long have you been listening!?!?!?!? What did you hear!?!?!?"

 

Hermione saw Axel.
What are u doing she asked.

 

Demyx whirled around to face Hermione. "Have you two been spying on us?!?!?" he cried angrily, releasing Axel.

 

Axel waved at Hermione and signed her to hold onto for one minute. I only heard teh part about something Namine doesn't know anything. Axel said.

 

No im just came here she said turning back around.

 

Namine just stood back, surprised. She'd never seen Demyx so angry before.

 

Demyx sighed. "This is private. You need to go away. If you were just trying to know what was going on, now you know." He turned away and shut the trapdoor. He saw Namine looking worried. "Don't worry," he said, smiling slightly at the look on her face, "He just took me by surprise. I overreacted a little bit, I'm not usually like that."

 

Axel brushed his coat and then continued to eat his sandwich at teh empty quiet hallway.

 

Hermione sat down.
I wonder if Demyx forgives me.

 

Namine smiled. "I know. It just took me by surprise. I didn't know they were going to follow us here too. What were you going to say before they burst in on us?"

 

"Umm..." Demyx had to think for a minute. "Oh yeah, well, there's going to be a dance in about a week, and um, well..."

 

"And...?" Namine looked at Demyx curiously. He looked slightly nervous about saying whatever he wanted to say. She had an odd feeling she knew what he was going to ask her, but she didn't want to guess and be wrong. "You know you can ask me anything, right Demyx?"

 

"Yeah..." Demyx took a deep breath and said, "Would... would you like to go with me?"

 

Namine couldn't stop the huge grin that covered her face at his question. "Of course I'd love to go with you!" She blushed faintly at her sudden outburst.

 

Axel saw Hermione. Hey there.

 

Hey Hermione said.

 

I heard that there is a dance coming in a week. Would you like to join me? Axel asked.
