"I don't think so..." Demyx muttered. "Well, you heard everything that Mr. Lexaeus said, so I see no reason to repeat it. Are you going to tell me who you called? The fact that you completely dodged the question hasn't escaped my noticed, you know. Or do you not want me to know who you had a harmless, friendly little chat with?"

 

"It's a secret." Namine replied softly. "Oh, and you might want to have another chat with Lexaeus soon about getting a new room. Second time's a charm, right?"

 

Demyx begin to panic, but didn't show it. "Alright, I know you're up to something Namine" he said. "Why don't you come in with me and ask again with me?" He grabbed her wrist and dragged her into the break room with him. "Excuse me Mr. Lexaeus, but Namine would like me to ask for a room in the boys dorm again." He stood in front of the door and held the door knob, blocking her way out, before he released her wrist.

 

"Actually, it turns out there was just an opening." Lexaeus replied.
Namine sheepishly tried to leave.

 

Demyx wouldn't let Namine leave. He wanted answers, and he wanted them now. He looked at her. "What did you just do?" he asked, gently but firmly, not wanting to come across as mad just in case what she had done turned out good for him, but a little irritated all the same. "Who did you call, and what did you tell them? Tell me, now."

 

"I just asked someone if they had a place to stay at before they transferred in a few days, and they did, so I asked if they would transfer out of their dorm early." Namine answered sheepishly, suddenly feeling embarrased.

 

"And he did, huh?" Demyx said thoughtfully. "Was it inconvenient to him in any way?"

 

"No, he didn't mind." Namine smiled embarrasedly. "I was just trying to help. You seemed so bummed about it and I felt bad for laughing at you..."

 

Demnyx your acting like a total butt Hermione said walking in.
You should be happy.

 

Demyx suddenly felt embarrassed too for how he had treated her. He allowed her to go out of the break room, but told her in a low voice to wait for him outside in the hall. He turned back to the principle. "Well," he said cheerfully, hoping that the rather slow principle hadn't figured out exactly what was going on. "I'll just go unpack in the room then. Later!" Deciding to ignore Hermione, who seemed to be picking up on Kairi's subtle, friendly personality, walked out of the break room and went over to Namine. "Hey, I'm sorry for getting mad at you. I didn't know what you had done, and I did have reason to be suspicious about what you were doing, but.... I'm sorry." He looked at her. "But why didn't you want to tell me what you had done? I wouldn't have cared."

 

"It's okay. You were curious." Namine replied. "I know it's stupid...but I wanted to try and surprise you. Like, you'd go in, talk to the principal, come out happy, and then I'd tell you I helped out with it."

 

"Oh..." Demyx felt even worse. "I'm sorry..." He smiled. "People tell me I'm too curious for my own good, I guess they're right."

 

Hermione then came out. And there is another surprise with it.

 

Demyx sighed. "Remind me to check if Kairi's still alive," he told Namine, grinning, "because Hermione seems to be channeling her spirit." He turned to Hermione. "You're not part of this conversation, you need to go away."

 

Namine laughed. "I'll remind you to check that."

 

Listen waterboy Hermione said taking out her wand. Im trying to help.

 

Demyx grinned. He turned to walk away but then he remember something important. "Hey," he said, turning back to Namine, "thanks for doing that for me. I really appreciate it." He smiled at her, then continued down the hall to his newly acquired dorm room to unpack. Then he remembered one more thing. He turned back to Hermione. "Yes, I'm so glad you decided to help me by calling me a butt while I was apologizing to Namine. I don't know how I would have gotten through that without your help." He then sprinted down the hall and out of sight before Hermione realized what he'd said.

 

"No problem." Namine muttered, watching Demyx run off.

 

Oh no he didnt Hermione said.
She pointed her wand at Demyx while he was walking down the stairs. Expelliarmis she said
