Don't get me wrong. I love KH.
I'm buying a PSP just for BBS.
But why the hell is FFXIII sixth place?
I'm more anxious for that one even more than BBS.

 

This IS good news. With sales good in Japan, Square should think they may get decent sales from the West, hopefully encouraging them to announce a release date.
You can see i'm eager for the release date.

 

It's good to see BBS on top, but yeah is FFXIII bad or something? O_o

 

It's probably because FFXIII has been out for a month. I assume these are the sales for this month and FFXIII sold more than a million in its first week.

Yeah, the thing with all FF sales in Japan is:

1- First week of sales that completely destroys everything else;
2- Very weak sales following the 1st and/or 2nd week. ( From 1.5+ million to 40ish thousand a week and lower)

As for the sales of Birth by Sleep, I'm quite surprised. I knew it was going to sell very well, but almost 450 thousand in Japan?! WOW!

 

Beats FFXIII eh? Wow, I was anxious about FFXIII, but seeing as how BBS tops that... Wow.

 

I'll repeat then:

(all) FF sales in Japan -

The real surprise here was that it beat New Super Mario Bros! That game had been selling around 500 thousand per weak in Japan ( it's already at the 10 million mark)

 

BBS is definitely the most anticipated game Square has made. FFXIII probably wont sell as much as BBS did.

 

.... except for the fact that it already sold 1.8+ million....
