i know this is crazy theory but mx could be a person who can absorb darkness without injury. the reason that terra is so angry is that the person behind the mask (ds) could have been one of his best friends but got absorbed by mx and then brainwashed.
mx did say that ds was a monster infused with darkness and when he says to correct his mistake that is mx trying to get terra to kill his old friend. terra thanks ven about saving him which means that mx could have tried to absorb terra too but ven's light protected him. please correct me if im wrong

 

I'm personally tired of pointing out this very same fact every time someone makes a theory about Master Xehanort.He Hates the darkness and wouldn't absorb it.I think he did earlier in his life and his apprentice was born of that darkness and he's trying to stop terra from making the same mistake indirectly by getting terra to chase him and slowly he hopes to persuade Terra not to use the darkness but he does it anyway.

 

You should capitalize your posts, especially when using a person's name. It's annoying reading posts like this.
Ven saving Terra could mean many things, maybe Ven saved him before the game which is why they're good friends, etc.
So far, Terra doesn't seem to act...friendly at all to the apprentice. It seems he would either avoid fighting him so he wouldn't hurt his friend (although he seems to be like an angry teen and wouldn't be able to control himself) or he would be mad at the apprentice and fight him aggressively. I haven't seen Terra acknowledge the apprentice in any special way.

Just like Daxma said, MX seems to try to dissuade Terra from using darkness. Unless he has some ulterior motive to doing this (reverse psychology, maybe?) he wouldn't bring Terra to darkness.

I agree about MX hating darkness and not wanting Terra to fall into it.
Although "A man infused with darkness is not fit to wield the keyblade" (or something like that) Does this refer to the apprentice since his keyblade has a keychain? Or is using that to convince Terra not to fall into darkness because Terra has a connection to THE keyblade?
