KH: Axel the Matchmaker

"Wait, don't say that..." Axel quickly said, starting to feel guilty at what his words did. He was worried as well. How in the world could he handle this? It was his job, and Demyx was his friend, but....Larxene. He had such strong feelings for the woman, and to see her with another guy, practically killed him.

Giving a exasperated sigh, he knew he was being selfish. And Demyx did nothing to deserver it. Axel gave him a reasurring smile, no matter how ripped he felt inside, as he explained himself. "No, for real. I'm flattered that you think everyone likes me, but...I-I don't think she does. I mean, I just said that, cause...you know how she is. Don't be down, I can help you. I really can."

 

"Really? You would do thay for me?"

 

"Yeah, of course I will," Axel forced, not wanting his unsureness to get into his tone. He nervously twirled his pen around, and bit his lip. "In fact, I'll talk to her myself. I know her well, but I also need to know what kind of things she likes, for guys to do, I mean. She never tells anyone. You, everyone knows what you like, Demyx. It might work."

 

"Thank you Axel you are a good friend"He sniled and his happy go lucky care free attuitde was abck "Well can we do this later I am tired?" but before Axel could answer he had passed out

"...yeah, I'm a good friend," Axel trailed off, not in the least well after the visit. Well, not after, really. Demyx just went all all sleep on him. Getting up from his chair, he walked to the couch, and laid down on it, in thought. "Can't believe this..."

He did mean what he said, that he will help. Just not try as hard, if you get his drift. He'll give him a try or two, but after...he had to think of something. His usual fee was 300 munny, but maybe if Demyx found the price too high, he'll give in, and Axel didn't have to do anything after all.

 

Time to see how Axel's doing.

She walked in on Axel again because he always did the same at her house and hse didn't mind.

So....busy day today?......uh......is Demyx spending the night here or something?

 

"No..." Axel gloomily replied from his spot on the couch, running a hand through his face in frustration. He was still thinking on whether throwing Demyx off. "You wouldn't believe the girl that Demyx wants to woo."

 

....by the look on your face.....it's Larxene......before you whine about how I know....it's because I'm a girl....duh.....anyway...whenever she's around you act differently...so i know.....got a plan on doing something about it?

 

Axel did looked shocked at her for a moment, almost sitting up, but hearing her reason decided to forget it and cooled. He sighed. "Well, I'm thinking of telling Demyx the price went up, so if he doesn't have the money he might want to forget about it. I don't want to help him get Larxene, Angel. I've been working up the guts to tell her, only for this to happen. But he's my friend...and..."

 

And......this is going to be tough....oh...and if you're worried about me telling anyone..I won't.......you know....if you want me to talk to Larxene and see whether she has any feelings about you or Demyx or anyone else I can.

 

"Really?" Axel perked up, really sitting up this time on the sofa, looking at her with deep hopeful green eyes. "You'll do that? Then what do I do with Demyx if he wakes up? Do I still go with the plan or..."

 

Just say you sent in.......umm....a spy....sort of.....to talk to Larxene and extract information........keep him believing that you're doing something that will help him.

 

OOC: I'm going out after this, so I won't be on until way later.

"Yeah, that'sa good idea," Axel nodded, sending her a thankful smile. And is not like he was not going to afford if he needed to take drastic actions. He never knew people had so many relationship problems, but it brought in a huge amount of munny. He joked, "Remind me to give you a raise..."

 

Whatever.....so...where's Larxene now? Oh well...I'll just find her.

She went out and went looking for Larxene.

 

Axel stopped a yawn from coming, and lifted himself off the couch lazily, making his way back to a sleeping Demyx. He held out his hand, and smack Demyx lightly in the head, trying to wake him up. "Demyx, yo. You're not sleeping over..."

He watched as he didn't stir. Axel didn't exactly want to hurt him.

 

He woked up "Huh what happened? Dont tell me I passed out again"

 

Well...guess I'll have to wait.....

She goes back inside and heard Axel's comment.

Couldn't find her.......and that's right...Roxas and I get to sleep over at Axel's house.....if we want to.

 

he waited for an answer

 

"Yes, you did pass out," Axel confirmed firmly, raising an eyebrow. He gave a nod to Angel. "Of course, You gave me time to think. I'm going to work on Larxene, send a spy, see what she does, all cool. You don't have to worry. I'll handle this. When do you think you're available for an outing with her?"

Don't get upset, relax, don't get upset, was what Axel was repeating through his head as he was saying all this. Larxene might not like him...I hope...but then that's my job...
