KH: Axel the Matchmaker

"Just not 'bad-looking'? Geez, she could gave said the truth and say I'm a sexy beast of the male species," Axel commented, his tone cocky as he felt a huge surge of happiness that, Larxene doesn't like Demyx, at least that way, and that he might have a chance in the midst of things.

But hearign Angel's words ruined the moment, and a frown appeared on his face. What will he do with Demyx? He was paying him to get him with Larxene, who he has a crush on too. Oh man...he didn't want Demyx to get hurt, but he didn't want Larxene to be with him either. Axel sighed mournfully. "I don't know about Demyx...you're a girl. What should I do?"

Demyx walked to Axel's house and knocked on the door "Axel you there?"

 

.....sexy beast of the male species?.....you better not say that to her.....it'll get "rejected" written all over your sad puny butt.....as for Demyx....well....I may be a girl....but I'm not a girl that deals with these problems........hmm.....give me some time to think....

She heard the knock.

Well.....I'm pretty sure that's 95% bad news knocking at your door.

"No, I won't get rejected over my sexy puny butt. Larxene knows how I am, really," Axel waved off, putting his ear at the phone to see if Naminé was speaking at all. Nothing yet. But now, he couldn't help but think over Demyx. He was at a crossroads. Either help Demyx with Larxene, which will hurt him, but make someone else happy, a good friend, or be selfish, and go after her himself.

The latter sounded quite like a jerky thing to do.

Hi shead snapped up when he heard the knock, and Axel eyed Angel in alarm. "Damn. Why do these people always come at bad times?...um..tell him I'm busy for me, you know, talking with Naminé. Is not really a lie..."

"Tell whoever it is the same thing anyway," Axel shrugged carelessly, not really in the mood to deal with people right now. He had to think a few things over. A lot has happened, Demyx's crush on Larxene revealed, who he liked, Naminé's feelings for him, while his best friend had feelings for her. Now Larxene might like him, but then what about Demyx? "I don't want to see anyone right now..."

 

Okay.....

She went downstairs and answered the door.

Oh....hey......Demyx.....

 

"Hey wheres Axel?"he asked her anoxiouly

 

He's busy with some other stuff......you can wait.....

OOC-Where's Axel in the house?...in his room.....right?

 

OOC: Yep.

Axel waited patiently, his ear back to the phone, trying to see what in the wrold Naminé was doing. This was too long for his liking, and he had half a mind to speak out and see just what in the world was wrong.

Not to mention, he also pondered over who could be at the door.

 

You can wait in the living room.....I'll go tell Axel to hurry it up....be right back.

She went into his room.

Axel did a doube take, staring at Angel as if she had two heads. No..there was no possible way he could get more bad news, and he still hasn't even spoken to Larxene himself. And the fact that she might not like Demyx, or if he wanted to try his luck. Dread filled his stomach, and he took the phone away from him, his lips frowning. "Are you sure?"

 

Axel...I have eyes....I can see prefectly well....yes..it 's Demyx.....so.......let me guess....I'm stalling.....again.....

 

"Yes...even though this is a hand-held portable phone, just pretend I got 'my hands tied'," Axel responded, the conniving wheels of his mind churning out for any excuses. He knew he couldn't avoid Demyx forever, so he will speak to him, truthfully. Just later. After he gets his own troubling thoughts in place. "So, yeah, stall for me? I'll be down when I'm done..."

 

........riiiiight......and how long will that be?.....in four years?....he looked like he really wanted to see you.....

She went back to Demyx.

Sooo......are you willing to tell me what's wrong?

 

"I just came here to see my friend is that such a bad thing?"

 

Well, I'm not ready to really want to see him at the moment...Axel thought to himself, waiting for Naminé to speak.

He didn't want to be rude, and hang up on her. Especially when she still hadn't answered his question.

But...what to do with the Demyx situation? Axel decided that first thing was first: he needed to talk with Larxene. He smiled slightly, thinking over hearing her lovely innocent voice (even though she really wasn't anything close to innocent) after such a while.
