KH: Axel the Matchmaker

OOC: ok Nymph start being Namine!

 

OOC: Alright...

Namine was lying on her bed, closing her eyes. She had cried for quite a while and was finally able to stop...but deep inside her, hurt was still welling up inside.
Oh...I shouldn't....I should've expected this...
Sitting up, she remembered Axel's words, and his expression, before she had left. He was probably worried that he had hurt her...
I should tell him I'm fine, she thought, sighing as she picked up the phone on her endtable, dialing Axel's number.

"Really?" Larxene asked, raising an eyebrow. Just because she was bored she decided to see others' opinion on them? That sounded suspicious. What sort of activity was that?

 

Axel was just cheering inwardly at escaping a very narrow, and dangerous situation, before he heard the house phone ring. Curious, he went over to pick it on from its place on the wall, and clicked the button to speak, as he put it in his ear. "Hello?"

 

"Hello, Axel," Namine said, making sure her voice was steady and contained no trace of sadness. "It's me, Namine..."

 

She's not buying it.........I am so screwed.......

Fine.......just know.....it wasn't harmful......do you want to go get some Sea Salt ice cream?

 

"Sure," Larxene said. "So...tell me, did one of them want to know what I thought of them?"
It was the only thing logical she could think of...unless Angel was trying to find out because she had a crush on one of them herself.

 

"...hi," Axel replied carefully, a bit surprised that she called him that fast. He scrtached his head a little, as she sounded a bit upset, and even sad. Axel was aware she tried to hide by her strained tone to keep it normal, but he didn't make nothing of it right now, or let her know. "...how are you feeling? I mean, are you alright?"

 

.....no........not really............somewhat close.......

 

"Yes," Namine answered, tonelessly. She was trying to sound okay, but her voice just sounded emotionless, like a robot's.

"Mm...okay," Larxene said, although she was still a bit doubtful of it. Although there were other possibilites she wasn't sure of...all she knew was that it wasn't likely she'd ask her these questions just because she was bored.

 

She bought two Sea Salt ice cream bars.

Axel hesitated with what he was about to say, before he replied, "That's good. Really, Naminé, I'm not worth it for you. Don't be hurting over me, I'm not that amazing. Besides, have you thought over what I said?"

 

"Yes," Namine said, no emotion in her tone again. She had remembered everything Axel had said, but she had fallen too deeply already. She was hurt too much, and it wouldn't go away so fast.

Larxene took one and said, "Thanks...so has Axel had any interesting people to match up?"

 

"And what do you think?" Axel asked slowly and tenderly, telling himself that this would be last question that he would say. He didn't want to keep pestering her when she was in this state, and with a miracle can recover soon enough.

 

Roxas asked for help on Namine.

 

"Well Hey There You Look Kinda Down what's the matter" Said Cloud comeing out of nowhere

 

Namine turned and said, "Hold on a minute..." Covering the phone's speaker, she asked, "Where...how did you get into my house?"

"So that's why he was there!" Larxene said, smiling. "Hm...anything else?"
She was wondering if any of them had to do with her, which would be a good enough reason for Angel to be here.

 

"Okay..." Axel suspiciously said, aware of the male voice that he heard before she, to his guess, covered the mouthpiece. He scrunched his eyebrows in confusion. Who in the world could that be?

 

Nope......nothing......when was the last time you and Axel hung out together?....or even talked to each other for that matter....

 

hmm Axel well i havent talked to axel for ever but idd like to see him again.

 

I really just want to get the heck out of here....but that would be too suspicious......
