Ahhh. How Axel detested irony. Giving a forced grin, pretending that he didn't know what was the cause of his anger, he raised his hands up, shaking them as if saying 'no'. He just wanted to go to his bed, and rest his brain from the metaphorical concussions people kept giving it, he didn't want to deal with this. However, he first had to calm Roxas down, and eyeing him closely, he said, "First, relax. Nobody did anything. She's just having emotional problems. She'll be fine given time. And don't ask me why, because she didn't tell me either."

Bless his acting and lying skills. He just hoped Roxas will leave it there.

 

Grr....fine....hopefully nymph will come.....

Larxene was walking outside, wondering what she should do. Although she couldn't help but think about what Roxas had said two days ago...

 

She saw Larxene.

Hey! I've been looking for you.

 

Larxene turned and saw a girl with long black hair approaching her. She immediately recognized her as Axel's roomate...or counseler...or whoever she was. All she knew was that Angel had a sister-like bond with Axel. "Oh, hey, Angel. You have?"

 

Yeah....I've been meaning to hang out with you....Axel can be a bore sometimes......so....how's life?

 

"The same as usual," Larxene answered. "So...Axel's been boring?" A small smile curled her lips. "Getting tired of watching him help match people up?"

 

Roxas raised an eyebrow''Trust him...or not...he IS my best friend...would he lie to me?''Roxas thought

 

He saw Roxas' questioning look, and rolled his eyes. Axel knew his best friend wasn't easy to trick, but it wasn't like he lied, really. He just told him what he predicted Naminé would do. Get better soon. Just not go into further details on why. He gazed at Roxas exasparatedly. "Rox, just sit down and chill. Naminé is fine, and you'll get what you want soon."

 

Yeah.......well.........what are your thoughts on Axel?

 

Roxas sighed and sat down holding his head

 

"Why are you so distressed?" Axel asked casually, looking at his friend's moody position. If only he knew what really happened. He told Naminé that he wasn't the one for her, but someone else. Axel prayed she will come to the conclusion on who soon. "Naminé is a strong girl inside."

 

I think of him as a cocky guy.......yet somehow he still charms almost everyone here.....

 

''ok...well what did you find out anyway then?''Roxas asked,picking his head up and looking at Axel

 

Other than the fact that she likes me, oh, absolutely nothing Axel answered sarcastically in his head, but he opted to tell the bit of the truth. Clearing his throat, he admitted, "Well, I told you, she was quite emotional. Other than the fact that she's quiet, shy, and likes art, what she looks in a potential partner, or what she likes in a guy, is...kind, helpful, adventurous, confident, and one she can trust and rely upon. And who makes her happy..."

 

Roxas frowned''and...I dont have any of those qualities?''Roxas asked sadly ,looking down at the ground again

 

Axel blinked surprised. He was kidding right?

He looked at his best friend as if he had grown two heads, eyes widened. Chuckling, Axel gave him a grin. "You don't even know yourself? Lord, Roxas, think it over, that's all you. You're kind, adventurous, etcetera, etcetera...and you'll make her happy. I know you will."

 

Roxas tried to smiled but failed and let out a sigh''I guess....I just want a chance...''Roxas mumbled
