"Beucefilous watched as the Heartless faded back into the darkness from whence it came. A huge grin lit up his face. "Oh yeah! We rock!" He said excitedly, doing a victory dance.

 

As the Darkside fell to the ground, Eli looked around himself to see if there were any additional Heartless to fight.
As far as he could see... there weren't. The entire battle had ended without him doing anything more significant than healing Maiko, who had instantly been re-damaged.
"Well..." he said, approaching the others as he de-summoned his keyblade, "I feel useful."
He still ached badly from the hits he had taken, but his thoughts went to the others first, particularly Maiko who seemed to have been hit the most.
"You all alright? Let me top you guys up if you need it, I think I've got the strength to."

 

Maiko landed in front of the others after the Darkside had been defeated. "YES! We all rock!" She said, as her keyblade dissapeared with a flash. "That was so awesome, we totally took that thing down! You guys were amazing," she said, turning to Beucefilous and Allen. "The way you took that thing down was great!" Then she heard Eli and turned towards him."Are you crazy!?!" she said as he offered to heal everybody else before himself. "You look like you took a pretty bad beating yourself! Use your cure charm on yourself, you won't be much help to us half-dead!"

 

The warrior of light eased up and changed back into his regular armor after the darkside was defeated. "Now then, He began. "Who are you children? Where did you come from? and what are those key swords you have?" He asked the group. He couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity with the blades they carried. it was so strange....

 

He smiled at what Maiko said, showing more concern for him than the damage she'd taken herself.
"Didn't know you cared so much. Weren't you the one that took a Darkside fist to the back?" he said, smirking in a joking manner.
"Don't worry about it; now we're out of battle I can probably get a few off without wearing myself out too much. That's you, me, and whoever else needs it most." he explained, gesturing with his hands rapidly as he so often did while explaining things.
He gathered some of his energy into his hand, forming the same white sphere as he had done so earlier, though not using it immedietely.
"So this is twice I'll have healed you up. Do I get a reward or something once we hit three?"
He remained oblivious to the warrior's words for the time being, apparently too focused in making jokes and casting Cure to notice.

 

"Maiko's right. No matter how much damage we take, were pretty much screwed if we healer goes down." Allen said before he turned towards the Warrior of Light. "Anyone wnat to take the explamation for this one?" He asked seeing as how explaining stuff like this was not hios forte.

 

Beucefilous turned his attention over to Allen and the rest of them. "Except for me! Not many can walk away from a darkside scratch free. I've got an incredible amount of blind lick mad skills!" He said almost cockily.

 

Maiko smiled at the stranger, since no one else seemed to be too keen on explaining, she decided to do it herself. "My name's Maiko," She said. "We're Keyblade wielders on a mission from Master Yen Sid, and um, those key swords we have are Keyblades." She wasn't very good at explaining things, so she left it at that. Then she turned to Eli. "Okay," she said. "But heal yourself first! And Beucefilous?" she turned to him, grinning mischeviously. "I'm glad you have mad skills on the battlefield, 'cause your piloting is AWFUL!"

 

"Same goes for running up the arm of one." Allen replied before turning to the Warrior of Light again. "Well, that pretty much explains everything. I'm Allen by the way." He said before turning back to his friends.

 

Sighing, resigning, Eli shoved the orb into his own body, which instantly began to work on him, refreshing his aching muscles and generally making him feel 'better', or so he would explain it.
"She's right though. Next time, I'm piloting, Brucey." he said to the boy whose name he still insisted on getting wrong.
He quickly set to work generating a second orb of the white healing energy, which took a little more effort, but he suspected he'd be okay. The second it was ready, he held it out to Maiko like a gift, grinning.
"Well, here's yours then. Can't call me a stubborn idiot now, I guess?"

 

Beucefilous looked over at Eli. "Don't like my driving huh? Well that sucks cause i got the keys." He said dangling then.

"I...See..." Said the warrior at her explanation, still rather puzzled.

 

Maiko laughed as she reached out and touched the orb, feeling health return to her. "Guess not," She said happily. "Man, that was so cool, though, and like, when you slowed it down with that spell," She said, turning to Beucefilous. "and then when you, Allen," she changed direction and looked at Allen. "Like, jumped down and slashed it, it was so cool! We totally just beat our first boss!" She took a deep breath, smiling around at everybody. There was no way anything could happen to them, everybody was so great. "Oh yeah! So, where are we supposed to find that keystone thing?" She asked the group.

 

OOC: Machina, would you like to demonstrate? We're running out of stuff for them to do in radient garden.

 

[Kei]

Kei grabbed some rope and quickly tied himself to the mast. He was just as horrible at tying knots as Risit was, and he frowned with determination to make it a tad bit more pragmatic. With what Kei lacked in intelligence, he made up for in cunning. He knotted himself at one end with a horrible interpretation of a noose knot, and did a somewhat decent job with tying a secondary noose knot to the mast and adding a monkey fist as a sort of security... though a monkey fist knot was more or less used for counterweight. Nevertheless, there was enough length of rope between him and the mast, allowing him to gain a good amount of distance. Perhaps enough distance to dangle from side of the ship.

Ignoring that fanciful thought, Kei wore a somber expression as the heartless appeared. What if they were redeemable? What if they truly had feelings? He shook his head and laid his empathy to rest as he justified his resolve to fight them. Keyblade in hand, Kei leaped into the fray, swinging his keyblade with precision. He was fast, and quite acrobatic. For all his short-comings, Kei was truly talented in the art of generosity, mischief, and fighting.

[Kurai/Kuja]

Kurai sighed as she fell onto her rump, Kingdom Key D in hand. George vanished and she felt saddened by the Heartless's disappearance. She had grown fond of it in such a short time, but she knew she couldn't make the same mistake again. "God damn," Kurai gasped. "Yeah, what Maiko said... how're we supposed to find these key--" She was interrupted by the sound of a chuckling youth. Descending from the heavens was a beautiful youth with silver hair. He possessed a feminine charm, with gorgeous sky blue eyes and pursed lips. A silver feather donned his otherwise exotic hair. His skin was pale, his height medium, and he wore an exotic robe that seemed to be held up by a codpiece. A violet guard encased his shoulder, his sleeves were white, and he wore black shoes with golden buckles. Suffice to say, this character appeared flamboyant, yet beautiful.

"What fun, those Heartless," Kuja remarked, landing delicately. His voice was as sweet as honey, light in pitch, and held a certain sort of charm. "It would seem you are looking for something?" He asked, almost rhetorically. He analyzed each of them with his narrow eyes, an innocent smile upon his face. Kurai stared at the figure, her eyes now glazed with a fantasies.

 

"Yeah," Maiko said, as the newcomer landed near them. "We're looking for the Keystone, it's supposed to be somewhere here n Radient Gardens."

 

The warrior looked over at the flamboyant man who landed near them and remained silent, trying to recall where he'd heard of the keystone before.

Beucefilous looked at the man, he was dressed rather strangely.

 

Kuja nodded and made his way forward. "Ah, and what might this stone look like? I may be of assistance, my dove," he replied earnestly, his smile now a neutral expression. "Of course... as payment, I would like for you to find my shadow." Kuja quickly added, his graceful steps carrying him closer to them.

 

"Erm, your shadow?," Maiko said, confused. How did a person go about losing their shadow? Had they somehow stumbled into Neverland or something? Then it registered that he had asked about the Keystone. "Oh, well that's easy, it um... uh..." She turned to the others in the group. "Anybody know what the Keystone looks like?" she asked.
