"Well, that was easy!" Maiko said happily. Most of the shadows were gone, and she hadn't even really been trying. "This'll be over in no time at all! Faster than you can say..." She trailed off as the hand broke up out of the ground. Her smile faded and she stared as the huge Darkside rose out of the shadows. "Oh boy..." she said looking up at it. "It's so much bigger than I thought they would be..." Then it raised its fist and before she knew what was happening, it was coming down towards her and Allen, fast. "Wha-!" She jumped backwards to avoid getting hit, yelling "Look out!" to Allen as she jumped.

 

Allen was to preoccupied with the shadows to notice Darkside rising from the ground. At least until Maiko shouted him a warning. "What th- oh crap!" Without wasting another second, he jumped out of the way of Darkside's hand. "Great, now how've we suppose to deal with this."

 

Beucefilous looked up at the large heartless Uh Kurai i think you might have pissed off George's mom... He said to her, trying not to run.

The warrior of light sprung into action the moment the darkside appeared. "Shine bright!" He called and light enveloped him. a second later the light around him disappeared and his armor had changed. the colors were now red, blue and yellow. Rather than blue and gold. And his horns were now pointing forward rather than straight up. He got there just in time before the darkside drove it's fist into the two. He put his sword and shield together in front of him and a bright barrier formed in front of him, stopping the enormous heartless' fist and bouncing it off. immediately after, a burst of light erupted from the front of the shield, blowing a sizable hole in the creature's hand.

 

As the much larger Heartless rose from the ground, Eli could do nothing but take a single step back.
He hadn't planned on fighting regular Heartless, as weak as they were, but elite things like this?
It had swung at Allen and Maiko, of all people, and he panicked for a second. He sighed with relief as both of them managed to dodge out of the way just it time, and a horn-helmed warrior took centre stage, blowing a large chunk of the Darkside's hand away.
"You two alright?" he said, as he closed the distance between them, ready to offer them a hand up if they wanted it.
"Looks like this new guy's on our side, so you ready for a boss sequence or what?" he quiped, readying Pumpkinhead once again.

 

Maiko smiled again, a little breathless from the close encounter but still excited to be out in the real battle field, fighting. "Haha, yeah, that was close!" She laughed. "I'm just glad I saw it right in time! That could have been messy." She looked up at it and the newcomer before turning back to Eli and Allen. "I'm ready to fight when you are," she said, Keyblade ready.

 

As soon as Risit said to get tied to a mast or something, Solare whipped her head around to try and find the cause of the commotion - and it was a big deal alright, a big, swirling ball of gas big. And the ship, of course was being pulled into it. We can't catch a break around here, can we? Sighing exasperatedly, she launched herself towards the ships railing and whipped out her staff, uncoiling its long tail. With amble hands she tied the silky but sturdy rope around her waist and then moved her crazy hair out of her face to take stock of the situation behind her.

Everyone was in chaos, the high and mighty Captain Amelia was barking orders to her crew and trying to get the ship to turn around. Her fellow Keyblade wielders were in the process of securing themselves, but what then? Even if the ship did manage to escape the black hole thing, wouldn't the ship have taken some hardy damage? And then their own ship . . . destroyed by the stupidity of these fools, was now gone. How the hell were they supposed to get to The Etherium now?

"Yo Risit!" she shouted over all of the chaos, "I hope you've got a back up plan bro, doesn't look like we're getting to our destination any time soon, and Cappy Amelia doesn't look very . . . capable." she continued, eyeing the cat-like captain. She was considering cutting her staff's tie and trying to take care of the problem herself, but no righteous suicide before they captured their Keystones . . .​

 

It had happened so quickly. A greater crisis was now at hand.
No time to do nothing.
But, really, what could he do? The ship was quickly heading towards a black hole and the gummi ship had disappeared.
Most likely destroyed.
The others had already latched themselves to the boat in response to the violently quaking ship. He followed suit. The cat crew were yelling orders to each other and the captain, too, but they seemed as knowledgeable as to what to do as his tiny team. He watched as one of the ship's crew fell overboard.
How long 'till we all go down?

Alright, no one else from my side has posted, so I'm gonna go ahead and start the fight.

Maiko was doing all she could to keep from getting hit by the orbs from the Darkside. She dodged some, blocked some, and just avoided some of the others. Of course, it helped that not all of them were coming at her, but she still managed to get hit once or twice. It hurt, but it would take a lot more damage to stop her from trying to fight. As she avoided the orbs, she moved closer and closer to the heartless itself, until she reached its side. Then, jumping into the air, she started slashing at its hand and chipping away at its life force. She wasn't very powerful yet, but every bit helped.

 

OOC: Ops... I intended to post last night, but then it got late, and I forgot. :x
Also, basing Eli's Cure on what it's like in Final Fantasy XIII. If that's wrong... my bad.

As the rain of dark orbs began, Eli threw himself to the ground in an attempt to dogde as many as possible, which proved to be mostly fruitless as many still struck his exposed back where he lay, causing him a fair amount of pain.
"Agh, damn it all..." he mumbled to himself as he struggled back to his feet. "I'm not gonna let something like that stop me, or I can't call myself a Keyblader at all."
Standing once again, though ever so slightly more crouched than before, due to the injuries to his back, he readied his weapon again, as Maiko approached the Darkside between her dodges and blocks.
She's a whole lot better than me... so I'd say she needs the help more than me. he reasoned internally, gathering some of his strength into a white ball of energy(?), before hurling it towards the girl that was nearer the creature.
"Maiko, catch!" he called to her, throwing it like a baseball towards her, hoping she recognised Cure already.

 

Beucefilous ran through the storm of Dark balls, avoiding them only by pure luck. He looked up at the creature towering over them. "Alright, I've heard these things are weak on their heads. Lets see if its true." He said, holding Oblivion outward. A black ball of energy appeared on the darkside's head, putting a significant amount of pressure on it. Hopefully enough to make it drop to at least it's knees.

 

Maiko turned when she heard Eli call to her, and saw a white ball of energy coming at her. She didn't realize at first what it was, but she reached out to catch it anyway. They were on the same side, she had no reason to be suspicious. But instead of catching it, it sort of absorbed into her as soon as it touched her hand. She felt better as soon as it did, and she smiled, realizing it was a cure charm. "Thanks," she called out to him. "I-" Suddenly, the Darkside's fist came out of nowhere and hit her, interrupting her and sending her flying. She caught herself before she hit the ground, making use of the gliding abilty her Keyblade granted her. I gotta remember to watch my back, she thought. This isn't training in a safe place anymore. This is the real world. Still, it was a good thing Eli had sent her that Cure, the damage from the Darkside would have been too much if she still had the damage from the orbs. Meanwhile, Beucefilous was attacking the Darkside's head, and it looked like he was making considerable progress. She smiled again, it was nice to have friends around to help her out in times like these. She held her keyblade ready and glided toward the Darkside to join in the fight.

 

Doing what he could to deflect most of Darksides orbs, he'd manage to deflect most of them that came his was. That's one probelm down, now only one more. He thought as he heard Beucefilous mention something about Darkside's weakpoint being it's head. You'd better be right about this! Taking his chance, he ran toward the arm that was in the ground and used it as a ramp to get to his head.

 

A light had come from somewhere, spewing Heartless onboard and Air Pirates flying above.
Oh, look. Something to do.
Kusameruko's keyblade materialized in his hand in a flash of light. The ship was still shaking badly.
I suppose... in the air as much as possible would be best.
He climbed as well as he could up to the crow's nest, beating back a few mindless Soldiers on his way. The Pirates were dar easier to deal with at this level, falling below as he struck them while they flew past. They seemed mostly distracted by the others running below.
From here they look like ants. Hmm.
He spied Risit struggling with a knot and yelling something. But he couldn't hear a word.

 

Risiel quickly grabbed onto a nearby rope and tied it around her waist, twirling part of the rope around her wrist as well. She cursed under her breath as she watched everyone struggle to keep themselves where they were. She looked towards Risit's direction and saw him struggling. She opened her mouth to yell at him but stumbled as something crashed onto the ship. She looked towards the deck of the ship and saw a rather large hole. She gasped as soon as she saw the heartless rush out of the hole and rush in every direction. "You've got to be kidding," she muttered as she slightly undid the knot around her waist. Risiel quickly summoned her keyblade and swung at a heartless that lunged in her direction.

 

Risiel huffed out and destroyed several more shadows that ran in her direction. She tightened her grip of the rope that kept her steady and raised her keyblade into the air. "Thunder!" she shouted as strikes of lightning appeared and struck several heartless, destroying some of the weaker ones. Breathing in deeply, she looked down at the rope tied around her waist and pressed her lips tightly together. It's hard to do this if we can't move around so easily. Risiel bit down on her bottom lip and raised her keyblade into the air once more, shouting out a spell once more.

 

Beucefilous grinned at the success of his magic. He charged in for another attack now that it's weak point was within reach. "Yeah that's right heartless, You are in it now!" He said as he leaped into the air and struck it's head with oblivion.

The warrior of light meanwhile, threw his shield out toward the heartless' head and ran forward behind it. The shield struck it's head and flew upward to be caught by it's owner before he struck his enemy with a fierce blow from his sword.

 

And as if to finish the job, Allen gave the dark side one final slash across it's head before jumping off of it. That'll teach you to mess with us. He thought as he landed on the ground.
