Story

Hundreds of years have passed since Xehanort was defeated. Castle Oblivion was restored to its former form and once again became The Land of Departure. This was where future keyblade wielders would train, acting as peacekeepers for all the worlds. Yen Sid traveled from his tower to The Land of Departure when both Sora and Riku had passed away, taking his place as an instructor for keyblade wielders.

There are several objects known as Keystones which house the power and consciousness of previous keyblade masters. They were hidden away by Yen Sid. Their power was meant to be kept away until the most desperate of times for their power could be used for great evil. The most powerful of the Keystones was found by a keyblade master known as Ignis.

With the power of the Blood Stone, as it was called, Ignis drew on its powers and slew the other keyblade masters. He challenged and nearly defeated Yen Sid. Ignis was sealed away by Yen Sid before Ignis could kill him. Yen Sid then called upon the apprentices to seek out the remaining Keystones he had hidden in other worlds. They would also fend off Heartless that had arisen in each before Ignis escaped.


And as for worlds...I've come up with a few that could work out. I added in a Final Fantasy Character here and there.

Magic

Fire - Shoot a single ball of fire that will quickly chase down its target.
Blizzard - Shoots several shards of ice directly in front of the caster in a shotgun-like pattern. Shorter range and weaker than Fire but can hit several more targets.
Thunder - Call down bolts of lightning to strike down everything around the caster. Hits more targets than Blizzard but is slightly weaker.
Cure - Heals one target of minor wounds.
Aero - An extremely short range spell that calls a gust of wind around the caster to knock opponents in the air.
Stone - Summon a rock spike underneath the target.

Sky Stone ~ Holds the essence of a Keyblade Master with a powerful heart. It will grant the holder of this Keystone strength when they are weak and skills to overcome any obstacle. Taken by Sessamaru
Land Stone ~ Holds the essence of a Keyblade Master who overcame inner darkness. It will grant the holder of this Keystone with strong powers to both protect and fight for others. Taken by Rienzel
Sea Stone ~ Holds the essence of one with a pure heart. It will grant powers to fend off forces of darkness and save one's friends. Taken by Sessamaru
Star Stone ~ Holds the essence of a Keyblade Master who protects others. It grants the holder of this Keystone with multiple magical powers. Taken by DarkTraitor
Earth Stone ~ Holds the essence of a Keyblade Master with an indomitable will. It will give the holder of this Keystone with the strength to crush any opponent. Taken by Machina
Water Stone ~ Holds the essence of a Keyblade Master who cares deeply for the well being of others. Grants the wielder of this Keystone great magical powers. Taken by Rem
Wind Stone ~ Holds the essence of one who uses the power of one's friends. Gives the holder of this Keystone abilities to overwhelm opponents with a barrage of quick attacks. Taken by Marushi

Blood Stone ~ Ignis's Keystone. It is the cause of Heartless appearing suddenly in all the worlds. It holds the essence of Xehanort. TAKEN


Rules
1. No Godmodding or Power Playing.
2. You can control up to four characters. Two OCs max however.
3. You can only have one spell unless your keyblade grants your character another.
4. You cannot dual wield keyblades.
5. No custom keyblades will be allowed.
6. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, and the majority of characters already introduced in the series are already long dead. I don’t want any mention of your character being related to them. This is reason why I’m introducing several new worlds.
7. Your character must be between 15 and 25 years of age.
8. Your character cannot be “all knowing”. We have Yen Sid for that.
9. Posts should be at least 2 or 3 lines long.
10. Keystone powers are not permanent. They only last for five posts and cannot be used again for another 50 posts.
11. Have fun!

Personality: Kei is a kind, gentle youth who seeks adventure. He isn't very bright, but he isn't very dumb, either. He tends to be clever and mischievous at times, and even displays some ability of perception. Kei is loyal and sympathetic, always willing to put himself into harms way to help people. Kei is quite headstrong when focused on something immensely important (such as friends or enemies). Due to being a stubborn-sort of person, he doesn't seem to know how to "give up" and he only moves forward, always smiling. He loves making friends and creating bonds, and always seems to make promises no matter how absurd they seem. He's willing to keep those promises and will never cast them aside, which at times seems to burden him, though he bares it with bright eyes and a grin. He particularly enjoys seeing children happy and has an "addiction" towards sweets. He always appears to eat twice his body-weight and still remain slender.
Other: Kei means "Light" in Japanese; it also has a close spelling to "Key", despite not being pronounced as such.

Personality: A tad hotheaded, but she cares for the protection of her friends. Solare can be a bit mean at times, and very sarcastic towards a lot of things, especially people she doesn't like. She doesn't like to take it slow, and sometimes rushes off in times of trouble, but she'll risk her life to save anyone, maybe even an enemy, and this is her hubris. She's very fond of children and especially protective of those who she deems not fit to care for themselves, which, a lot of the time, is everyone. It should be said that Solare's very scared of thunder and its sound although it does her no damage. She may laugh a lot but she hardly ever smiles, and when she shakes hands with a person, that means she respects them greatly, this is to say that she hasn't shaken the hand of many people. All in all, Solare is a quiet, stubborn, impulsive, sarcastic, but caring person.
Other: She's been told that she's the reincarnation of an ancient dragon, but she finds this hard to believe. Along side a Keyblade, she wields a staff passed down to her that she keeps on her back when she's not using it, which is hardly ever. She also wears a long reddish and black scarf around her neck, but even when it's hot, she doesn't take it off because it hides a scar she got from when she was little.

Personality: rarely decides to talk to people and may come off as rude. Dislikes people who don't know or realize things that are obvious or he thinks they should know. Detached from the world, except in battle; when he is fighting this is all that matters. This causes him to leave others behind, whether intentionally, or not.
Other: Sometimes has trouble telling his dreams or thoughts from his actual memories.

Personality: Kurai is a hot-headed young woman. However, like her older brother, Kei, she's full of compassion. She's very much a tomboy and is solely independent, and is often irritated by Kei's goofy personality. Nevertheless, Kurai is still a young girl and will fall in love with the first handsome guy she sees and will do anything to get his attention... even if it's to bash him over the head with her keyblade and drag him into the nearest house. Caveman marriage. She loves children and dreams of a day when she'll get married, have a family, and have her hubby stay at home to tend to them. Kurai sees Kei as an idiot and is often seen bashing him in the head with her keyblade whenever he acts stupid or embarrasses her... both seem to happen at the same time. Despite her faults, she's a gentle and pure soul who wishes to put an end to the blood stone and the Heartless. She's always looking out for her headstrong brother, for she values family (even if her brother is an idiot) and she will do anything to protect him and his naive ways. She's smart, but not very sensible at times, and is prone to bashing anyone in the head. Anyone.

Well...there's a lot up to read but that's I wanted to give a good deal of freedom when people make their characters. I'll stick in the unedited story if I see there's enough interest in this. Comments and suggestions for anything are welcome.

Didn't think two would join today. This marks progress! You're in. I'll allow the secondary weapon because it's not a keyblade. Just don't give the sword magical powers. Reserved Warrior of Light for you. He'll basically be acting in a similar fashion as Xaldin and Lexaeus's Somebodies did back at Radiant Garden. As a trained guard who'll protect the world in case no one else can.

 

You're in. I'll reserve your stuff and you can play as Kuja. He won't be a main villain for the RP but he could serve as a minor antagonist, kinda like Hades and Jafar. Or if you want you can even make him a good guy.

Damn, slots for the stones are filling up fast. Anyways, I'll be elaborating on the powers of the Keystones when the RP takes off. Also, I'll be stating the name of which keyblade wielder is in each in case you guys haven't figured it out already. I think I'll wait for Pandatastic Flagellum to make an OC before putting up the RP thread and starting it.

 

It depends on what you're asking. If you're talking about doing something like slicing through buildings with a keyblade and the majority of Reaction Commands seen in KH2, then no. I'm going to keep things close to how things are seen in KH1 and BBS. The physics here are linient, just not as non-existant as they were in KH2. >>

 

I left High Jump as an ability. <<; Running on walls won't happen with keybladers here. Since you have Kuja he can kinda "glide" on walls but that's just him.

They're similar keyblades. I checked just now and they are different. I just felt that it was fitting to have them connected. The upgrade is the keyblade from KH1 while base form is from KH2.
