Keyblade War:The start of the Heart

Phisoxa bit her lip too angry from all this stuff that was happening today, she took a dictionary and flung it across the room, nearly hitting Mixt as it slammed against the wall behind him, making a loud thump.

 

Mixt rolled his eyes "And I'm the one with harsh solutions. If you don't want to talk to me just say so"

 

Phisoxa sighed loudly, her hair falling into her eyes.

Phisoxa:" Sorry, its just "they" tick me off big time, thinking they know it all."

She said collapsing into a red armchair that was near her and sighing loudly.

 

Mixt laughed. "You think that is new? Everyone has problems with them! I hate how they have the goody two shoes approach to everything"

 

Phisoxa:" Yeah, thinking that they can shape our skills the way they want to."

She said leaning her cheek into her palm.

Phisoxa:" Hmm are you new around here or . ..?"

 

Mixt shook his head "Upperclassman. We wouldn't have any classes together"

 

Phisoxa:" Hmm I see, so how is life up there in luxury ? You upperclassmen must be treated like kings judging from the rumors people of my class and lower have been passing about."

 

Mixt let out another chuckle "Kings? Please, it's nothing but a charade they paint for you so that you will be motivated to progress. There are perks here and there but nothing that matters." In truth there was more to it but Mixt never cared much about material possessions, only knowledge and power mattered to him.

 

Phisoxa:" I see, won't the others be suprised."
She said crossing her legs as she listened.

Phisoxa:" I guess you are not like those jerks anyways."

 

"You must of caught me in a good mood then. Anyway, want to train sometime?" Mixt asked. He felt the need to find out her potential, and it also gave a good opening to teach her a lesson about disturbing study.

 

Phisoxa:" Sure I guess that would be great."

She said turning her attention back to the fireplace

Rodarn looked darkly at Mixt, he knew a bit about his past. He also knew what type of person he was, due to a fight they were in a while ago. Rodarn walked over to him.
Rodarn: You hurt my cusion, I will kill you.

 

Mixt stared Rodarn in the eyes with a peircing glare. "Big words. It's unfortunate that you can't back them up."

 

Rodarn clenched his hands into fists.
Rodarn: Thats rich coming from a coward like you.

 

Mixt: Coward? Now that is what is really rich. Care to take this to the ring.

Mixt was referring to the dueling rings set up for upperclassman. They weren't used that much since most people found the classes to be brutal enough. But Mixt could be found there every opportunity he had and when he wasn't he almost always had his nose in a book. Some people thought he was an over achiever, which was partially true, but it was fear that pushed him as much as pride.

 

Rodarn: Fine, I shall fight you, but I warn you know, you can't beat me.

 

Mixt turned for the stairs leading to the training rooms. "Do yourself a favor and cut the big talk. The bigger you talk the more of your pride is on the table. It feels great if you win but makes loss that much more bitter."

 

Rodarn: If you fight for pride, you have already lost, I fight for something else.
He said this as he followed Mixt.

 

Mixt: Fine, don't believe me. You just better win this Rodarn.

They reached a room with a man half asleep in a chair. Mixt coughed to get his attention and he jolted up looked arround and saw Mixt and Rodarn. "You're at it again Mixt? I get wanting to train but this can't be healthy."

Mixt: I'm fine. Now stand back and play medic when this is over with.

The man sighed. He wanted to argue but his job was to be here for matches and report any misconduct, he had little authority of his own. Mixt went to one side of the arena and took his stance though he did not summon his blade yet.
