keyblade war : The Keyblade War: Reborn

Mixt leaned forward from the bowed state into a roll to both dodge the attack and close the distance for a follow up kick.

 

Phisoxa took the kick and was knocked back onto the ground but she took the force he exerted on her and used it against him by throwing herself back up and swinging her blade over her head and straight into his chestplate. Causing enough trauma that it left a impression in his armor and probably a few bruises from being whacked so hard.

 

Mixt stood back up and brushed himself off a bit. "Not too bad, most can't even touch my armor, much less dent it. Fairly visible at that. They didn't put you on the council for nothing. I'll need to reinforce that later" Mixt placed a hand over the part of the armor with the impression and with a bit of light it returned to normal. "Now where were we?" Mixt sunk back into a battle stance and twirled the blade slightly to beckon her to come attack.

 

" They didn't put me into the council for my pretty face and to make dents in peoples armor, I earned my skill.I am not one of those keybearers who learned all their talent from a mediocre classroom and textbook. I trained under one of the greatest men who ever lived, well used to live. But I keep his strength alive in me."
Phisoxa said as ran forward, spinning her keys and she sunk down and slid forward in a attempt to knock him off his feet, but midway while sliding towards him she took one of her keys and aimed at the ground underneath and shot a blast of energy from it, causing the ground beneath him to explode and then she jumped up into the air spinning as she then came down upon him with her keys.Slamming them into the armor of his shoulders and arms in attempt to injure them.

 

Mixt spun and help up the blade flat, using his left hand to steady it, in order to block. It worked but due to the force of the strike deep cracks were made on the sword. The orbs of the sword launched out after her, aiming to collide before she could reach the ground and redirect herself.

 

Phisoxa lifted up her palm forming a smaller orb of pure light and held it in her gloved palms. She then breathed into it causing it to shatter into several small sparkles that went flying at Mixt and then turned into several stake like objects made purely of light that lodged themselves into his arms sending him flying into a rock formation behind him, making his back slam into it with great force,and pinning him like like a target on a bullseye.

 

Mixt's hand twitched as the spikes damaged his arm and made it harder to hold the sword. "Not bad kid, you're almost worth fighting without handycap, almost"

 

" You still won't admit it that I am worth it huh?"
Phisoxa said as she raised her hands in the air so that force on the spikes pushed harder into his armor and entering deeper into his flesh. She walked closer to the foot of the rock formation and stared up at him, her eyes fixed on the spikes as if she were searching for signs of blood.
"Sorry if I make you feel like you are being hung out to dry." She said with a smirk and chuckle, teasing him a bit.

 

Using what remained of the use of his arm, Mixt slashed the sword into the rockface so that even if she were to cause his arm to go completely limp it would remain on the hilt so long as he was strung up. "I'm guessing you aren't very good at chess"

 

" Hmm why make such a comment when it is you who is strung up and not I ? More surprises waiting up your sleeve huh?"
Phisoxa said as she walked back and forth calmly as she held her keys low to her sides. The wind began to pick up again and carry some of the sand up into the air, making a low whistle travel through the walls of the rock formations. The ground began to shake and something off in the distance was stirring. Phisoxa lifted her head as if sensing the air and stared back down at the normal level.
" I smell darkness."

 

"About that, you are fighting a dark general on blood stained ground while his troops wait a few dunes over. The sky is cloudy too if you want to continue to observe the obvious"

 

" Are you implying I should flee?"
Phisoxa commented as the rumbling off in the distance got loudly, it sounded like men joined in song and hundreds of armor apparel clinking against eachother, not only that but it sounded like something was making a series of giant footsteps that shook the ground. That when Phisoxa could spot the black mass off in the distance since it was so tall, a darkside, and a pretty hefty tall one at that, created just for the battlefield.

 

"I'm implying no such thing. Though if there being darkness here surprises you then it might not be a bad idea. All I'm saying is that you shouldn't waste time looking into things that ought to be a given. Now the stakes are more obvious, do you care to finish the job?"

 

Phisoxa raised her arm and was about to finish giving the final blow but she stopped and lowered her arm down.
" It isn't in my nature to kill someone like this, no matter how bad they happen to be. Consider yourself lucky to live to fight another day."
Phisoxa grabbed her cloak that had fallen off during the battle and threw it over hereslf as she then rushed off into the canyon rock formations behind him, running as fast as she could so she could get out of sight. As Phisoxas was far enough into the cannon the stakes began to wear away and then disappear leaving nothing to hold Mixt back. As the warband drew closer to Mixt's position, dozens of men came into view and the attending Darkside came to a stop at a large rock formation behind them, standing behind it. A wicked looking old man came walking out of the band towards Mixt and stopped a few feet away.
" What has happened here? Have you seen a couple straggling youth come running by? "

 

"Phisoxa of the council went that way, she's fast but if you cut the fat from your ranks and make haste you might still be able to catch up if you wish. There was another man too. Not anyone I know but didn't look to be of the light. He vanished without a trace." Mixt answered simply, completely ignoring the first question and his own injuries.

 

" Hmm I don't think it is a wise decision to be chasing down her into that canyon especially just to kill her, it would be a waste of energy and manpower since it would be like chasing mouse down a maze. But now that she has gone about revealing her identity it makes seem more worthwhile. She might make a good POW since she is young and vulnerable, so she would be easy to interrogate for information that might help us in the long run." The old man spoke to a couple other men and they bowed their heads and flashstepped away. Night began to fall upon the wasteland and a camp was built the at the same exact spot where the battled had taken place earlier, a large bonfire burning with heat in the central and large tents set up around the area. Suddenly there was a rustle in a dead thistle bush nearby and the man from before came walking over, a figured bundled up in a cloak slung over his shoulder.
" I found her when she had collapsed from exhaustion in the canyon, I think it was because we had her on the run for two days straight." The man said chuckling in a creepy manner as he threw the cloaked woman down on the ground at their feet and then walked over to the fire to get some of the meat roasting on the spit nearby.

 

Raxtion ran up to Mixt "Captin, luetenant, major, general, person, sir! What should we do now?"

 

"Right now you should go fetch me a cleric to treat these wounds. After that we wait. The Phisoxa case is interesting in itself but furthermore it is the only current link we have to the man from earlier. He is the truly intriguing one." Mixt said to Raxtion

 

The old man from before ordered a young soldier to search the young woman's pockets for objects that were high in value and after that the older man departed as the young man given the order began to search Phisoxa's pockets as she muttered weakly under her breath but when the young man got too touchy the seemingly unconscious young lady threw a punch at the man's face, nearly breaking his nose but it sent him falling onto the ground behind him.
" What ?! What the hell ?!" She shouted as she attempted to get back up but the young solider after regaining his composure and joined by another held her down to keep her from getting up and attacking.
" HEY let me go !! And get your mitts out of my stuff!!" Phisoxa shouted as one of the soldiers confiscated her bag. The soldier then stood by unsure if he should search it or let the General search it first for anything he would want claim to first.

 

Raxtion tossed Mixt a chicken leg. "Here you go, sir!"
