keyblade war : The Keyblade War: Reborn

"Well that pendant of yours will continue to do its job. If your brother is right then it will ultimately make the kye-blade and open the Kingdom Hearts you so long for. Though with you as the medium who knows what will happen to you by the time that comes." Mixt then reached over and pulled the pendant off of her. "Or we can take it off and your only importance to me would be your rank. Except for one thing. Why you? He said himself that a princess of heart would be more logical except that he believed that it would bond better to you. Why?"

 

" Well my heart is only a drop of light away from becoming a princess of heart but . . . theres more to it then just light you see. I was born to host the kye-blade. I am basically the one who is suppose to help it come to being, but thats only if the right ingredients are brought to together will it work. But if I were to fail or not fulfill my duty a princess of heart would do well in my place because of their pure heart. Because the kye-blade itself is made of pure light and pure darkness. That pendant you hold in your hand is full of darkness. . . but it is not enough, only something that will lure the blade out. . ." Phisoxa said watching him pull the pendant off. " You are not thinking about going along with his plan are you?"

 

"Not at all. Why would I chase a fairy tale? I have my own plans. And as for this trinket, I'm not sure how your brother got it, but it is a very sought after item in my discipline. It will make a nice catalyst for other purposes. So I guess you can rest knowing that the blade won't be made. Or were you secretly hoping it would be? Another lost soul hoping for some miraculous guidance from the sky? Pathetic."

 

" Well there is a very small chance it can be formed without it, but thats under perfect conditions. And no I don't want that thing to formed, why would you think that? If I did want it formed I wouldn't have let you slay the very man who knew much more about it. I don't understand why you dare think of me being that greedy." Phisoxa said looking a little pissed off as she tried to walk away but the wall of men behind her prevented her. " And you said you needed that pendant for something, what exactly is it that you are after? There had to be more purpose to kill my brother then simply to follow along with a deal made."

 

Raxtion ran over to Mixt in his cheerleader outfit "SIR, I BELIEVE IT WOULD BE A VERY BAD IDEA TO TELL THE ENEMY OUR PLANS, SIR!"

 

"Oh greedy isn't what crossed my mind. But you seemed to rather like the legend that you are wanting stopped. And if it is as you say then sure the very depths of your soul is crying out for it's creation. Not everyone is after grandeur such as World domination. Many, especially of the light, seek it for simpler reasons. As for my purposes in all this, I think Raxtion is wise in saying that you don't need to know that. By definition of our positions I should not trust you, and I don't see how telling you would help me exactly."

 

" There is no way my heart or soul would want such a devastating thing." Phisoxa said breaking away from the group in disbelief and standing at the edge of the shore where the water skidded over the sand softly. Phisoxa held the dark paopu in her hand still, its darkness texture had a slight blue sheen to it caused by the hazy orb in the horizon.

 

The earthy smell of sand blowing in the desert wind was all but familiar to Phisoxa, once again she was back in the same place she began. But this time she was not a soldier but a prisoner. Even though it had been a couple months since her deal with Mixt had been sealed she had managed to stay alive as his PoW. Which even though she was thankful to still be alive she was still puzzled by his decision to keep her around.

The end of war was finally drawing close, the light army fighting as best as possible, but all of that wasn't enough. The dark army was superior in force and much more fierce. Only a few light camps made their final stand in the valley, many of their comrades either being dead or having deserted their posts. The council as strong as they were was falling apart as well, only a quarter of all the members remained. While on the other hand the dark army spent their time stuffing the last few out and looting whatever they could. Absolute defeat was drawing near for the light army and Phisoxa was there to witness every bit of it.Even though she was probably safer then most, she couldn't help but feel a bit of guilt as she watched her own men being slaughtered at the hands of her captors.

Today was the day Phisoxa had dreaded, the day when she would come face to face with those she had admired. Council leader Nathaniel, five of the remaining council members, and three squads had been cornered in a valley and were being overrun. She watched the battle while sitting atop of hill where camp had been made, witnessing some of her comrades being either devoured by the the waves of heartless or being cut down by sword. The sight of it sickened her and caused her to advert her eyes as she kept her hands tucked in the linen blanket she kept wrapped around herself to protect herself from the cold desert night. Her attention was perked up when she heard some of the men discussing that they were probably going to join in and storm the base tonight.
" So the time has finally come." Phisoxa said under her breath while staring out into the distance, the flames roaring on the battlefield reflecting against her amber colored eyes.

Fardel fought with all of his might. The heartless waves were never ending, and the soldiers were tough and strong. Too strong for words to describe! Fardel stood by his commander, Rako. However, many of his squad had been split apart and were falling one by one. Rako had been Fardel's commander, teacher, and master since childhood, he would never leave his friends side and Rako knew that. Fardel was loyal to the end. However, Rako didn't want it to come to that... "FARDEL!!! You have to get out of here! Now!" yelled Rako

Fardel continued fighting "And leave you here by yourself? NEVER!!"

Rako looked at the young soldier as he created a shield over them both. However, Rako knew he only had a minute before the shield would burst.

Fardel destroyed the remaining heartless within the shield.

"You've fought here long enough, soldier..." said Rako with a smile on his face. He then ripped off his necklace and put it in Fardel's hand. "Here, take this and bring it to the council. It maybe our last hope."

Fardel gasped at his masters request. Fardel knew that if he left his master, than Rako would most certainly be destroyed. "Sir, NO! If I'm going, then you are too!!!" yelled Fardel, grabbing him and trying to bring Rako closer to the stairs that led to the council's hiding place.

Rako stood still, unfazed. Rako grabbed Fardel and then threw him into the base with ease..

Fardel fell down in the mystic halls that were laced with magic, preventing anything from coming in. He looked back up at his commander, master, teacher, and friend...

Rako smiled at Fardel "It's the only way, I know you'll understand some day... Good-bye, my friend." Then with those final words spoken, the barrier exploded as the heartless started pouring in. Rako continued to look at Fardel and smile as he used the last of his power to make a wall of pure light between him and Fardel, that with constant attack would break within a half an hour.

Fardel could not see past the barrier but heard his friends final screams of pain... Fardel cried as he looked at the necklace with pain and anger. He suddenly got up, closed the metal door that seperated himself with the wall or light, and then began making his way through the halls, intent on accomplishing his masters goals...

On the other side, another squadren was being overrun by an all too familiar foe... Raxtion was tearing through their forces as if they were nothing. Using the heartless as distractions and cutting down anyone in his path. It was a blood bath! All Raxtion said during this horrible encounter was this: "Paddy cake, paddy cake, bakers man! Bake me a cake as fast as you can!!!"

 

At another camp there was an eerie calm. The clamor of the other camps was distant and there wasn't a heartless in sight. Instead the armor clad figure of Mixt approached alone. "Did you really think you would be able to flank us? That I wouldn't notice this camp while the assault was made? Though even if you did the effort is futile. You are so weak now that I can take you down myself" Mixt said coldly as he walked into the camp. Mixt then summoned his keyblade and threw it down into the ground. At first it seemed to be a testament that he didn't even want to use it, but a moment later he grabbed hold of it and slashed forward through the ground and with some alchemic trickery split the ground open to swallow most the camp. Those fortunate enough to not be caught in the strike were proving to be no match for Mixt, and one by one had their corpses thrown into the chasm.

 

Finally it was time for the men to leave for battle and before they dead they left the youngest man and lowliest ranking man in the squad to watch her since the man couldn't argue with them. Phisoxa however was surprised that the man left in charge was around her age and a little scrawny. The young man sat by the fire warming himself as he watched his comrades disappear into the night. When they were gone Phisoxa got up and wandered over to the fire while the man gave her a hostile look before going back to poking at the fire with a rusty sword, sending red hot sparks out as he moved the embers around in it.
" So it looks like they ditched you huh? How pathetic." Phisoxa said, seeming not to care what he would do. He only ignored her and kept messing with the fire as Phisoxa sat down next to him. " Why do you let them boss you around like that? You know being so permissive won't get you high up in life." The man growled under his breath as Phisoxa ran her hand over his and made a mocking chuckle. " So pathetic." Thats when the man suddenly turned to her, slapped her across the cheek which was enough to knock her to the ground. He then got up and drew his sword and stood over her." So you think it's okay for you to act so high and mighty when the others aren't here? You are terribly mistaken calling me the weak one. Anyways are you the one under imprisonment? Oh yeah you are and I can spill your blood right here and the others wouldn't mind. Afterall we have rights to your money and you have been nothing but be the third wheel to us. So I guess its time for you either die or make yourself useful. What will it be, girl?" He said drawing closer as Phisoxa lay there looking a bit unphased by his threats. But then suddenly Phisoxa threw a kick at the man's groin and then punched him in the jaw before grabbing him by the arm and toppling him over. onto a tent nearby which made it collaspe. " You b**** !! You used this to trick me." He shouted as he gripped his broken arm.
" So? Its not my fault you got so angry easily. I only took your weakness for my advantage." Phisoxa then threw water on the camp fire so it would dim the area and took off into the night. Running as fast as she cool through dust, rock , and sand. Phisoxa didn't stop once and finally she had reached the man camp as heartless were overruning it, she then hid behind a pillar looking for a way to get into the base as the battle raged on around her.

 

Raxtion had finished off the rest of the squad when he saw Phisoxa running along as if she could just LEAVE WHENEVER SHE F***ING WANTED TO!!!!!!! Raxtion then jumped infront of her "Hi..." and then be began slashing her with his corrupt spirit sword.

 

" Damn it, just when I think I've run away there's always one of you nutcases nearby !!" Phisoxa said as she dodged his first slash and summoned her keyblade to catch the second slash. " Why don't you people just let me go !! You got what you wanted !!"

 

"Well, I could tell you what we REALLY want, but this thread is rated PG-13... and I can't really outright say it without getting in some form of trouble." Raxtion said, making no sense to Phisoxa. "But don't worry, you'll get my POINT soon enough..."Then Raxtion chuckled for the longest time at his own joke before finally summoning a second corrupted spirit sword and attempted to stab her in her side.

 

" What do you mean really want? I thought I completed my side of the deal with Mixt, but why should be surprised, you lot are nothing but tricksters." Phisoxa said rolling her eyes and yet so oblivious to what he truly meant. When Phisoxa noticed him summon a second sword she began to make herself more alert. In desperation she did a backflip backwards in an attempt to get away from him before she rushed forward at him and began slashing at him with tremendous speed.

 

Raxtion continued to block her attacks, keeping up blow for blow. However, he was simply blocking and would eventually mess up. Raxtion knew this, let Phisoxa stay on the offensive, and then called down many lightning bolts in an attempt to catch her off gaurd.

 

Phisoxa grunted as she felt a few shocks hit her but she sucked up the pain and gripped her key before shooting forward again and unleashing a massive fire spell from her palms that seemed to rush towards him a wave and wrap around his location.

 

Raxtion began spinning himself around and around extremely fast, and eventually created a tornado which redirected the flames into the sky. Raxtion then stood there, smiling. I am such a badass... Thought Raxtion. Then Raxtion threw both of his corrupted spirit swords at Phisoxa!

 

The fire spell that Phisoxa had casted quickly mixed with the roaring tornado, turning it into a storm of sparks. She watched as the tornado ripped through the base grounds and set fire to anything in it's path." You idiot you never cast a wind spell when someone casts a fire spell!!" Phisoxa did a backflip backwards in a attempt to escape his swords.

 

"Does it look like I care?! This whole place is going to be destroyed anyway!!!" said Raxtion as he sped at her. The swords began homing in on her.
