keyblade war : The Keyblade War: Reborn

Phisoxa lifted herself to her feet and searched her pockets for her guns but was cut short of doing so when some of the men took her hostage to make sure she wouldn't be up to mischief while they searched. Another man tried attended to Jack who lay passed out on the ground nearby, he muttered softly in a drunken town as if he were asleep. " That fool was asleep this entire time . . . " Phisoxa muttered irritated as Jack continued to talk in his sleep. "Where is my promise of riches lass, you did say you were in possession of large bank account. . . hnnnn" He said softly as Phisoxa tried to shut him up but all was said and done." Don't listen to him hes a drunken fool !" She said as the men holding her hostage seemed a little interested by what Jack said. " Hey lass is it true what the fool says? Are you that wealthy ?!" One of the men said as he held onto her the other only confirmed the man's question with an answer. " Well if I remember she a member of the council, Phisoxa Mindell I think. And if I remember most of the Mindells are out of commission, that must mean she inherited everything by now." Phisoxa continued to struggle in their grip. " Even if that was the case I wouldn't give you oceanrats, a cent !!!"

 

Raxtion walked up to her. "Huh... You know, at this point we might just do that whole 'ransom Phisoxa to council' thing we talked about months ago... I bet Mixt would love that!"

 

" As much as I would like to return back to them I cant trust you people would go through with the deal fairly. And I am not going back into the possession of that man again !! I will find a way out of this." She said in a rebellious tone as she continued to resist as one of the soldiers kicked at Jack." What are going to do with this one sir?"

 

"Eh, I don't know... He seems too drunk to really help anyone. We could just throw him over board..." said Raxtion to the soldier. Then Raxtion turned back to Phisoxa. "Oh come on, it wasn't THAT bad... Besides, the worst part of that whole thing was Xehanort, and you won't HAVE to see HIM this time..."

 

" No, leave jack alone !! Its me you guys want right ? if that's the case fine, I will be more cooperative if you leave my friend out of this." Phisoxa shouted as she continued to resist more. " Its dishonorable not to mention unpleasant being held hostage by two fools like you and your General,especially when I know that you guys are trying to use me against my own people. But . . . before I agree to anything I wish to speak with that man, Mixt. I promise won't try anything but I just need to understand something before I go through with this. . ."

 

"Well then out with it lass" Mixt said, evidently more aware than he let on earlier as he now stood on the ship's bow and took a bite out of an apple.

 

Phisoxa stumbled back when she took notice of Mixt being nearby.
" Damn it, I should have known you were listening." She said pulling herself up and stepping forward a little. " I will give you control of my funds and be cooperative if you tell me or atleast keep me updated regularly on what Xehanort is up to."

 

"That is easier said than done lass. Xehanort knows to be weary of even allies and likely won't take kindly to being watched. But you also drive a very hard bargain. I shall accept as long as you are aware that our duties come first in the even of any conflict between the two interests, but I hope that is something that you would have already guessed." Mixt said as he tossed the half finished apple overboard and took a couple steps forward towards Phisoxa to shake her hand.

 

" I suggest you leave Jack behind on that island off in the distance, its smack dab in the trade route so he should be able to hitch a ride back to Port. As for Xehanort, you can atleast tell me of his previous actions if you are not sure about being able to watch him. I need to know how far he is with completing that thing . . ." She said muttering the last part under her breath

 

"If you don't mind me playing the part, I don't see how leaving him on that island is any more advantageous than just throwing him over here. As for your brother. His role has been mostly diplomatic on the surface, but for anyone with the eyes to see he's been doing more harm than good. But as we both know that is very well the point, ain't it? He eggs on the war and casualties from both sides mount. All coming to fruition with that pendant around your neck. He's been pretty predictable when you get down to it really. At least as far as he shows. A man like him is capable of many secrets, especially to those who lack the eyes to see it."

 

Phisoxa grasped his hand into hers and shook it while a concerned look showed up on her face.
" So it is getting the point where it is clearly visible by the members of the dark army huh. If his plan is causing more harm then good then why are you people still fighting on his side, why allow him to stay like he is when the results of his labor might as well harm you guys too. You should cast him out, don't give him what he wants !! Because in the end you are as in danger as I !!" Phisoxa said as she faced Mixt, even though she was probably in a dangerous position now it didn't stop her from speaking to him face to face. " The dark army can strive for all the land, power, and riches it wants but what is it going to mean when there is someone like my brother out there who is going to obtain a power greater then yours !! What is the point of even fighting anymore when there is a threat greater then this war running around. There is a complicated scheme going on behind this war and my brother isn't the only man behind it, he is just one of the many who strives for the same prize. This war is just one that provides the ingredients for a unseen battle." Phisoxa said her hand still clasping his after they had shook earlier.

 

"I fail to see how any of this affects me. Life is much easier when you don't concern yourself with such things. What about you? You could ruin this whole thing right now. Rip that jewel off your neck and throw it overboard. It could join my apple and never be seen again and you would have no part in this." Mixt suddenly pulled her by the handshake the still held and dangled her over the side of the ship. "Or I could do the same and send you with the bloody stone." After a moment of holding her like that he threw her over to his ship where he gracefully jumped over himself. "But again, I've got no reason to do such an act. I just like the theatrics." Mixt picked up another apple and bit into it.

 

" I can't take it off, its bound to me. Believe me if I could I would have done it a while ago. But there is also another thing, if I did take it off someone other then I will be in tremendous danger. I couldn't bare to let that happen. . .-" Phisoxa didn't expect him to pick her up and hold her over the side of the ship, she hung on for dear life before being tossed onto the opposite side and landing on her face on the deck. " You are vile !!" She said pulling herself up.

 

"And you were expecting.... what exactly?" Mixt said. As the last of the men returned with anything that was of any value Mixt picked up a bottle of rum and pulled off the cork. However instead of drinking it he stuffed a handkerchief into the neck to make it into a molotov cocktail and lit it with a nearby candle, chucking it over to the ship Phisoxa had come from.

As the ship went ablaze it took only a few minutes for Jack to jump over to Mixt's ship with surprising dexterity for a man who seemed barely able to stand. "Did ye have to burn the rum, matey?"

 

Raxtion was on board with the rest of the crew. He then tossed some rum over to Jack. "Here ye go! Drink up me hearty!"

 

Phisoxa rolled her eyes when the men started drinking and slunk over to the side of the ship and leaned on the wooden rail, watching as the burning ship began to drift away and crashed against a reef then it began to sink. " How can that fool drink when have just been captured by those barbarians." Phisoxa said muttering under her breath.

 

"Seems like a fine reason to drink to me. And from the looks of it not being dead seems to be a fine reason to drink for him..." Mixt said, the sarcasm sounding strange on his calm voice.

 

Phisoxa was digusted by the careless behavior of the men nearby. But what could she do, she couldn't stop it. After all she was only but a prisoner now, which was hard to cope with since she was so use to giving orders back with her troops not being ordered around. A week the ship spent at see before the Mixt decided to pull back from patrolling the seas of Port Royal, he left a few of his troops to patrol in his place while he took only the strongest of his men, Phisoxa, and Raxtion with him. Where they were going, Phisoxa had no clue. But by the actions Mixt had taken Phisoxa could only imagine what type of hell she would enter next.

Phisoxa felt herself being dragged along in pitch darkness, she couldn't see or hear nothing but the tapping of feet against the cold ground below her. Suddenly Phisoxa found herself standing in a weird cavern type area, with rock formations that had streaks running down them that glowed an eerie blue. Though everything else beyond it was hidden in shadow. Was this the Dark realm? Phisoxa wondered as she hurried along by the squad of soldiers that was being lead by Mixt. " I didn't know that they actually had something down here in the depths . . ."

 

"There is much hidden where you do not have the eyes to see it. The dark tides ebbed at these rocks like ocean cliffs. The these cliffs in turn took in much of the darkness." Mixt explained the landscape, though he still did not explain why they had come. He simply moved along casually like there was nothing special about where they were.

 

Red eye's glared at Phisoxa from the shadows... Though they did not come close they watched her... Waiting for her to realize...
