keyblade war : The Keyblade War Before-Cry of a Goddess

Aia just nodded and wander off someplace else, down the streets she went till she came to a tavern, a tavern hardly any women went in or perhaps weren't even allowed in during that time period, but didn't care, she wanted off the streets and in someplace warm. She sat on the ground in front of the lit fireplace and drew her knees in.
Aia:" Why does this have to happen to me? Why not one of the other gods?"
She thought to herself as she ignored any stares from anybody in the tavern, too caught up in her own thoughts to care for human laws.

 

The bartender came up and tapped Aia on the shoulder. "Missy, you are not allowed in here until nightfall" he said.

 

Aia looked up almost startled from being awoken from her deep thought.
Aia:" Why is that so? There are other men inside right at this moment drinking. Why should I wait till nightfall?"

 

Mixt paced back and forth in his study. Who in their right mind would kidnap the goddess of life? People were dying as he thought and for what? 'For the rights of those who die?' What kind of a line was that? Anyone who could pull a stunt such as that one obviously was not mortal themselves. Mixt sat down at his computer, surely there was a list somewhere of immortals that had left the realm of gods. He doubted it would give him an exact answer but at least he would have a starting place.

 

As Mixt studied, suddenly but silently a man made his entrance, he stood in the open archway of Mixt's study leaning against the stone frame. He was a man in the prime of his youth but not old enough to be called middle aged, he seemed old enough to be around his early thirties with jet black hair and dark blue eyes, the color of the blue aura the thousands of stars outside in the nightsky gave. It had seemed he had entered Mixt's study without much sympathy towards the servants who attempted to keep him from entering the privacy of the study.
" So any word on the disappearance of our very own princess? It seems word has gotten out within all levels of the god council but they still want to hush any news up and keep it from entering the public, apparently there has been enough panicking today."
He said as he walked over to the small frail and dwindling fire that sat within the distant fireplace of Mixt's study and stared into it as he talked, the even frailer flames of candles that sat upon the windowsill glinted a sparkling gold glimmer from the round teardrop shaped earrings that hung loosely from his ears as he stood there.

 

"Unfortunately the general populace knows as much as I do right now. 'For the freedom and rights of those who die. We are not your slaves and deserve to live as we see fit' those words echoing through the city during the attack is the only clue I have. The attack was far to advanced to have been done by mortals but it was done on their behalf. Also the attack itself, by it's very nature it couldn't do any lasting damage it was all smoke and mirrors when you get down to it. All that really changed from the attack is the kidnapping of Aia. She is the goddess the mortals are relying on most right now so they wouldn't dare do any lasting harm to her as the cards are now. This is far from being over, but I don't have any leads"

 

"Then we shouldn't have to worry about much at all then, even if it was our dearly beloved being kidnapped and all. If this rebel group does turn out to be a band of rouge immortals or perhaps some meddlesome demons she still would be safe. Remember the can't do anything to harm her so I don't think the Oldman is going to set out a entire armada to rescue her if its not life threatening. Anyways the toll of mortals dying in the human world is still the same, as long as my brother Hexus continues to make sure that the humans don't wage too many wars amongst themselves, the population shall be fine. We need not worry about the percentage of births, especially when the population is large enough to fend for itself."
The man smiled as he looked at the window.
"But what makes me wonder, why take a hostage when there is nothing to threaten her with? They obviously do not want to keep her to affect the Oldman's sense of judgment and plans, so they must want her for another reason."

 

"Thos men are worthless, they don't help. Are you worthless?" asked the bartender.

 

" Of course I am not, it's just I don't know what to do anymore . . . I feel as if I am lost in a world I know little about . . ."
she said as she turned back to staring the fire.

 

The bartender laughed "And your great plan is to hid in here? Get out there and learn" he said turning and walking away.

 

Aia just shrugged as she stood up and wandered off back outside, she had to change out of her fancy entire especially since her dress was made from the softest linen and she had no need for it. It was simply a burden for her to be warn around in rough terrain so she wandered off to the homestead of a seamstress who would have many dresses Aia could walk around more comfortably. She opened the door and walked inside and looked around, there were clothes lining the walls and a roaring fire off in the corner.
"Hello ?"

 

No one answered Aia. The shop seemed completly empty except for a little old lady sitting on a rocking chair in the corner.

 

" Well, seamstress if you are here I would like to have one of your dresses and in exchange I will trade a fine linen garment that you could make a good fortune off of. I have no use for it anyways and its doing nothing but weighing me down."
She said looking about the room, not even paying attention the woman in the rocking chair.

 

"Ease down little goddess, no one else is in right now" the old woman said.

 

Aia nearly jumped from fright when she heard the unexpected reply from the old lady off in the corner.
Aia:" Wait I thought he said that the entire town was put under a spell that would keep everyone from noticing me but . . . how do you know who I am? Anyways that does not matter . . . are you the seamstress that lives here?"

 

The old lady laughed "No, my grandaughter is" The old lady said looking at Aia "My little Torxber lets me see threw his powers."

 

Aia:" Why is that so? Wouldn't he be afraid that you would tell somebody? Anyways where is your granddaughter?"
She said looking over at her.

 

"My great great grandfather dosen't have to hide things from me" The woman said using her walking stick to stand up.

 

Aia:" Great, great grandfather? what you do mean by that? He doesn't even look old enough to be considered a full grown adult yet."

 

"he has the ability to choose his form at will, he chose that form because it is most familair to him, at least thats what he says" she said with a chuckle and cough.
