keyblade war : The Keyblade War Before-Cry of a Goddess

Aia began to grow irratated by the fact she was still being ignored and she couldn't even use her godly powers to get herself out. She had to think of something else, something a powerless human would do to escape dungeon. A key perhaps? Was there any nearby for her to find someway to obtain? Aia then spotted a sleeping guard, she knew he had to have some sort of key in his pockets perhaps so she reached her arm out from the bars and began reaching into his pockets gently but she couldn't find a key. Now she felt hopeless as she slunk back into the cell and tried to think of something else. This time she wanted to try and pick the lock with something, but was there anything in the cell that could help her? Aia thought not but then she remembered the ornaments in her hair that kept her hair bound up from lastnight's celebration.

Aia reached up and pulled a gold pin out which made her hair fall undone and then she began to pick at the lock with the gold pin till she heard a small click and then Aia slowly pushed the gate open and walked out on her tip toes. She wanted to give the nearest human she could find a good beating but she knew she was no match for anyone in her current state, so Aia just attempted to get out of the dungeon. She took the backway where there was a shady flight of stairs that seemed to lead someplace else other then the floor where all the other humans were going. Up Aia, quietly walking up the stairs, when she came to a old wooden door she stopped and then attempted to open it and found that she had come to someone's study or rather bedroom for that matter. She hoped nobody was here and that it was safe to pass through but then she spotted Torxber asleep in the shadowy room, alone in his bed that sat between Aia and the door out of the room.
Aia then tried to tiptoe quietly over to the door but found that it was locked as she tried to jiggle the handle.
Aia: "Damn !!!"
She said under her breath.

 

"You know, its not nice for you to steal peoples items" Torxber said, moving before she could react he was able to get an arm band on her that had the same effect on her as the glitter and cell did "Now I am the only one that can take that off you."

 

Aia fell to her knees as the band began to have it's effect on her and she looked up at him irritatedly.
Aia:" Me stealing? I haven't stolen anything at all from you people, yet you steal me away from my home."

 

"You need to see" he said calmly and they helped her ot the dorr she was heading. Outside was a massive town, though the people looked saddened, tired and weakened. Though no matter how hard it was they kept trying at what ever they where doing, and everyone helped each other.

 

Aia:" What is wrong them? Shouldn't they be happy I know there's been a bountiful harvest this year."
She said looking around in puzzlement.

 

"This is what happens to those you rule. You think your helping? Your gods control their fates, and this is the result, poverty, hardships, but also trust, friendship and family. I am immortal, but I would rather live with them" he said looking over everyone.

 

Aia:" But like I said, I don't have the power to make you people happy, I only give life to those I touch, I can't do much more from there. Human greed and other illnesses of the human race are not something that can be just simply taken away."
She said just staring unemotionally at her surroundings.

 

"You have fallen so much into their lies. Life is more then just human life, Life is the world. Without it hey die" he said, the worlds vegitation was barren "Sure, some worlds have plants, but ones like this are different."

 

Aia:" Well I don't know what to say to that but . ..Then if this world is barren, why do these people choose to live here and suffer?"
She said staring over at him with a questionable look on her face.

 

"Would you leave your home, even if it was barren? The place you grew up, made friends?" Torxber asked her "For these people, they have to live here, there is no other choice."

 

Aia:" Problem is I don't have any friends nor do I have much of a family, both Mother and Father are always too busy trying to keep their self image perfect while my sisters have already gotten themselves married and gone away, all I have is my Grandfather, where he goes, I go to. If I could escape that world full of uptight nobility and narcissists I would,but not without my Grandfather. That is the reason why I have chosen to do him good for once and accept the god of war's proposal, pretty soon I will be married, perhaps by the end of next year's spring."

 

"And does that make you happy? Look at these people. They don't have the lives of your people, they don't scheme. backstab or plot against each other. They work toghter, after a hard days work they go home to their families, laugh, eat and enjoy each others company" Torxber said "try living with them for a week, after that your free to leave."

 

Aia:" But they hate me enough already, why should I come and make things worse with my presence? They will see my coming as a bad omen or something like that."
She said staring down at her feet quietly.

 

"That arm band has another power, no one will realise who you are" Torxber said.

 

Aia:" But there is no way I'm going it alone, I don't understand how you people think, it will just be like dropping me into a forest full of wolves. Okay I will play your little game but you go to promise not to hurt my grandfather or any other in my world with your meddling. "

 

"If I was going to, I would have" he said turning and walking away, back into the base.

 

Aia:" Hey wait, don't you dare leave me out here !!"
She said gripping onto his harm to prevent him from letting her go.

 

"So clingy" he said in a teasing voice "What is it?"

 

Aia:" I mean I agreed to your terms, but really I'm not in the mood to get out there right now. Anyways I can't walk fast enough with this thing on."
She said clinging to his arm.

 

"Go, see what its like to live as a mortal" he said tugging his arm free.
