"I am weakened, not defensless, besides I rather like being free" he said pulling his hand free.

 

" You are making a terrible mistake. They don't care about fighting you, they just want to destroy you and your people. Even if they have nothing to do with what happened, they will still kill them."
Aia said as she stared solemnly at him.

 

"They won't find us for one week" He said.

 

Aia:"Fine but I warned you, besides what else are you planning to do with me besides life in the town."

 

Mixt leaned back in his chair. "I'm not sure a search party will cut it. Don't get me wrong Dante, your visions intrigue me and I plan on being a part of this until the bitter end, but a search party to find some one that can be anywhere in any world? To use a human expression, we're looking for a needle in a haystack. I have to imagine that they would make their next move before we could find her by hand." Mixt snapped his fingers and sat up. "The spectral scanner. That's it." Mixt turned his computer. "I developed it to search for immortals to bring to our realm. It won't give us a definite location for her but we can at least cut out most of the searching." Mixt explained while his hands stroked away at the keys.

 

" Well hehe, search every damn immortal you can pinpoint, check their backgrounds,anything. Round up a group of suspects and then we will check out each one by one. I knew you could help some how Mixt."
Dante said cracking a smile as he turned his eyes towards the moon that hung in the black velvety sky outside the window.

 

"Nothing, after this week its your own choices" Torxber said to Aia.

 

"The scan should take about a day. Then I can give you a list of worlds that she could be at. Searching all those worlds will take considerable time though, I can't promise that we will find her before they make their next move."

 

" Well I will help search, me and my men at arms will help. Plus there might be some new worthy candidates we can bring to the god world with us, Don't forget, anytime soon the old man will hold ceremony at which a few lucky immortals will be given the title of a god, yup it has been a thousand years already. He still has not chosen those few but it will be soon. Its best we provide him with the best of the best before he makes his move."
Dante said while smiling.

Aia smiled and sat down upon a bench.
Aia:" That shouldn't be long, anyways a thousand summers seemed like a weekend for me."
