Keyblade War: The Goodbye of Friends and Omens of Omega

"So the hologram of a child back on the Seeker ship was him... Damnit." Mixt stopped for a second and thought "Well I think that is everything, I would like to thank you but I still don't know your name."

 

"I don't have one anymore" the hub said riasing a hand "I wish you the best of luck" he said before lowering it and letting the consumers to start attacking Mixt and Atem again.

 

"Out we go" Mixt said as he opened a portal and pulled Atem through. The other side was back to Station Aia. Mixt figured that with the cure there any consumers that slipped through the portal after him would be able to be taken care of. Furthermore there had been the brief moment at Twilight Town that Mixt was able to peek into Robbie's dimension and figured the overlap was not a coincidence. If Robbie was keeping tabs on them then he would currently lay over the space where the most was going on which was Station Aia. "Robbie, I know you hear me. I need to talk with you"

 

"What?" he said as he appeared behind Mixt in a black coat "I am a bit busy kicking myself in the gut for being right about the consumers"

 

Mixt did not turn around immediately "Well I'm sorry then because this is a doozy. I need to know as much as you can tell me. Black Phantom, White Phantom, You" Mixt finally turned to face him as he finished to emphasize his point. "If I'm not mistaken your track record sucks in dealing with this, let me know so I can help properly"

 

"Well I am sorry, I am dealing with the revelation that everyone and everything I have ever known has been destroyed and it is entirley my fault" Robbie said "Any thing is spcific you want to know? Its a very long list and I would rather not stick around while I am weakened"

 

"Highlight reel is sufficient. We don't even have to do it here if you don't want. But if you let things run on their own like always we both know how this ends. Or rather how it doesn't" Mixt said, face as stern as it's been ever before.

 

"Hmm, well first of all think back to when you tried to look after those orphans so long ago, and the events that followed, do you remember?" Robbie asked Mixt as he paced "When Moegiro took over and Phsioxa was a wanted criminal? Rako was still evil and had the androids and so on and so forth. Back in the day when it all seemed like a bad story?"

 

"Terrible story. It was like destiny was written by a bunch of teenagers with nothing better to do." Mixt recalled with a quick glance through the broken fourth wall.

 

"Well regardless, not long after that is when it started. The battle of Balmora and that is where Dace's crimson dagger struck me and created the Black Phantom that we all know, not many people remember the White Phantom though. Eventually it somehow got sucked into a time portal and so on. You heard all this. My theory is that since the two Phantoms are opposites they are effective at killing each other, but no matter how far the white phantom spreads its powers mongst the consumers it is still even with the Black Phantom, so the Black Phantom needs domething to tip the scales in its favour"

 

"So you're saying we need something that can break the consumer shield on behalf of the Black Phantom so that they can battle properly which should end in mutual destruction. Last I checked though the Black Phantom can wipe the floor with consumers without breaking a sweat. And what of Phantoma? Where does he play into this?"

 

Robbie smiled "Lets just say since Atem was born I have been pulling an Aizen, putting everything and everyone in place, certain things haven't gone according to plan but a true plan always has backups" Robbie said before vanishing.

 

"You clever snake. Traken is alive because of you. You knew he would make the cure that would ultimately allow the consumers to be taken down without too heavy of a drain on the Black Phantom." Mixt said smirking as Robbie vanished. Mixt turned to face Atem "You catch all that? Looks like we've got a really fancy suit of armor to break down."

 

The station started moving towards it's intended destination "Now look here, YOU, just because you know more about the station than me does not mean that you are smarter! Who made the "cure"?! WHO put you under WHO'S mind control?! IT WAS ME! Okay, that's it, JUST STOP! I can't deal with this right now."

 

Atem scratched at his head through half of the discussion because most of his parents and their friend's past was all but a mystery to him but he followed along. " Yeah I got it ... I guess . ."

 

"Good because we've got our work cut out for us. We need to deconstruct the consumer network and you saw how hard it was to destroy a single hub. We need to destroy six more hubs and then we deal with the core. It seems our last assault included the core but did not destroy it. Are you still in? It is not too late to choose another path."

 

"I'm not going to chicken out now but how do you suppose we take out 6 more of the things that proved so much for you last time? What do you think I could do to help? I am not as skilled as you and Mother."

 

"We fight until we can't fight anymore or there is nothing left to fight for. If it is truly worth fighting for then how is secondary to the fact that you are acting at all. That being said we can't afford another battle like that last one. From now on we avoid the core the best we can and we should go after the hubs as efficiently as we can, the longer we draw battles with the consumer out the more the odds shift in their favor. And finally we should pick up some of this 'cure' Traken made. Though I wish to analyze it before we use any of it." Mixt explained to Atem. "Do you have any additional thoughts on strategy?"

 

" I agree with your plan, its just when we do come across traken's cure we need to be careful on how we obtain or use it like you said. He had to have rigged someone about it somehow to keep any stragglers from making off with it." Atem said as he stood up to his full height and stretched a little, popping a few bones.

 

The Station and the fleet around it started warping away and appearing over the consumer world.
