Keyblade War: The Goodbye of Friends and Omens of Omega

Abel was more paniced about the lack of gravity. The thought of air didn't even occur to him until Phisoxa mentioned it, and that didn't help much. But the panic faded away in awe as he stared over at the large sphere they were floating next to. "Mother, where are we?" Abel asked as he looked onward. It was the largest thing he ever saw. It was like a world but smooth and solid black. Then part of the sphere started to gently pulse red, inviting them to come over and touch it.

Rako fought the consumers using a different strategy or ability with each consumer he killed. Suddenly he realized that the consumers were impervious to moves that he had done to the consumers of THIS dimension.... This wasn't good...

Dr. Traken stayed inside Station Mixt. He had finished his circle and now sat down in the middle of it. He had inscribed the neccesary symbols into the steel of the station. He then sat in the middle of the circle and began to concentrate on Station Aia. "Now..." Dr. Traken started "In order to gain the power I need... I give up the energy I hold within me!" Suddenly Dr. Traken could feel himself getting extremely weak, however at the same time electricity began hitting Station Aia. Not only did this lightning short circuit any hardware but it also cut through some of the area's of the station. Dr. Traken collapsed as the equivalent exchange had finished.

 

Phisoxa flew over to the area where it blinked red and Atem grabbed his younger brother's hand quick and pulled him along as he moved through space while following his mother. Phisoxa put her hand against the area and instructed the boys to do the same and suddenly they were sucked in by a unseen force and ended up on the other side. " Mixt?!" Phisoxa said drawing closer.

 

The sphere began to move and it folded over the three of them, leaving them in a small orb. This only lasted a moment though as the orb disintegrated and left them on the other side, floating between Station Mixt and the Station Aia from the old dimension. Hearing Phisoxa call out to Mixt only confused Abel more "What is this place? Does father have anything to do with this?"

Rako fought in an area where space and time melted before him. He became increasingly weary of his surroundings and all the more threatened by them as time went by.

Dr. Traken could only watch the outside catastrophie's. He had no idea what had been going on out there... all he could do is watch the spectecal unfold. At least Dr. Traken had accomplished his mission of disabling Station Aia.

 

" Yes it does, I can sense him nearby. I wonder where though, but make sure to keep on your guard I sense consumers nearby as well." Phisoxa said drifting along as she drew her key and continued on. " Mixt!!"

 

"If father is nearby why do we need to worry about consumers? I know he's been struggling with all the distant ones but can he no longer even control them nearby?" Abel was getting very overwhelmed with all of the events going on so quickly.

Meanwhile Mixt sucked in all the dark energy that came in contact with the shield. But something was wrong. There was significantly more than he had expected there to be. He was especially glad now that he decided to do the job himself, but worried about the cause of it. There was one more piece to the puzzle and they would need to figure it out without him.

 

" I know but its better to be safe then sorry. After are we are in space, we can't expect everything to be the same as it were back on land. After all we can't exactly run from something. You can only glide, and looks like you two are barely swimming." Phisoxa said chuckling and mocking the boys as she watched them struggle to move as she glided around like a bird. " And since when could you fly mother?" Atem said looking a little irritated as she mocked them. " Why shouldn't I? Isn't it normal to do so?"

 

"Normal to you maybe..." Abel said as he squirmed around, trying unsuccessfully to move. "Maybe if we were in one of those ships I could at least push off of stuff"

 

" Back then most warriors had to skill to glide, as long as you can use magic and be able to connect with your heart, you can do it." Phisoxa said gliding around as Atem seemed to understand what she meant and used a aero spell to propel himself around. Even though it wasn't the same thing Phisoxa was using, it still was better then just swimming.
" I know this is Mixt's doing but . . . I don't understand what he is trying to accomplish. . . "

 

Since Abel had learned more alchemy than magic he was unable to do the same and continued to squirm around, although he was getting better at making a direction out of it. "You mean father built all of this? But this place is huge!!!"

 

" Well your father is no ordinary man my son. In fact hes not even human himself, did he ever tell you anything about himself or has he kept quiet about it all these years? Anyways you were bound to know, its unfair I keep your heritage unknown to you." Phisoxa said as she continued to glide.

 

"If father isn't human what is he?" Abel asked, scared that his mother might say he was a monster of some sort.

Behind him the pod that contained Mixt slid along the shell to come into position right where they had entered. It cracked open to reveal Mixt, but large arcs of darkness were going to his arms and seemed to be causing him pain. "Phisoxa, I see you are finally okay. But unfortunately now is not the time for reunions. My shield is designed to intercept communications of the consumers, but there wasn't supposed to be this much. I suspect a part of the system is inside. My guess is the station that isn't mine. It arrived shortly after we did." Mixt said, trying to get to the point as quickly as he could.

 

" Your father is a god Abel, an actual one." She said to him as Atem seemed a little shocked and looked away. If his father wasn't human what would that make he? Something great or a miscreant ? He knew something was wrong with himself from the beginning but he blamed that on the power of the key and now he had realized the truth
" I could sense from this strange darkness that something was going on. Are you sure pulling all that darkness in the best approach MIxt? Its not natural to have so much of it in one place and even if it were, something bad could become of it." Phisoxa said keeping her eyes on him, a look of worry on her face.

 

"This darkness is what is flowing through the air you are in right now. It is how the consumers work. This barrier stops communication across it, thus dampening the consumer's powers. But there wasn't supposed to be this much darkness here. It means that there is communications on the inside. We've isolated a hub Phisoxa. Now more than ever I need to do this. Those things have overstayed their welcome and I won't let them take this universe too. Now go. I can't sustain the barrier while talking to you like this much longer."

Abel was getting scared. A small piece of him wasn't even surprised to hear about his father. Across his childhood, Mixt always had a solution for everything, and seemed to be that best at just about anything he could do. To see him taking such drastic measures, coupled with hearing that he was even greater than Abel previously thought. What could cause this? And what was he to do against something that caused his father to struggle like this? But despite his mind racing he found himself unable to say anything, just watching Mixt and Phisoxa talk.

Rako fought off the consumers as much as he could. He felt their numbers slowly start to dwindle on his mind. No matter how many Rako killed, there always seemed to be more! Rako let out massive attacks trying to kill as many of them as he possibly could without giving them a chance to adapt.

Dr. Traken watched from the Station Mixt. One of the consumers on board jumped to attack him. Dr. Traken merely smiled as he quickly subdued the creature. "Hmm, you're not much different from my Panacea Fighters. Perphaps I should find out exactly how you tick." Dr. Traken took the Consumer into a nearby labratory on Station Mixt and began preforming experiments...

 

" Well Mixt I don't know what to say, but just please, please whatever you do, don't end up hurting yourself more then you are now . .. And mixt . . . Since everyone seems to busy fighting the consumers right now, is there something I can help with?"
Phisoxa said as she stared over at him.

 

Mixt took a deep breath, he ad a plan that could ultimately end the consumers at the cost of their own lives, but one look at Atem and he couldn't bring himself to ask i yet. "Dr. Traken is back. He's actually helping, but he's been surprisingly useless. Could you try and help him out a bit as well as make sure that he doesn't cause trouble again?"

 

Phisoxa seemed eerily silent at the mention of Traken's name as if she were trying figure out if what Mixt said was true but then she looked back up and nodded." I guess I can do that, where is he right now and what task do you need me to do?"

 

"He's in my station." Mixt said, nodding over since his arms were to busy taking in energy. "The other station arrived after we came and I would bet it is the cause of all this extra dark energy. I told Traken to disable it, but obviously I doubt he's been very thorough."
