Keyblade War: The Goodbye of Friends and Omens of Omega

Everyone seemed to freeze to stare at the scene that was unfolding. Phisoxa sat up on coughing as she gasped for air some more and then regained her composure as she looked around the room at the scene before her.
" So you have survived . . . I am glad, everyone has changed so much since I have last seen them. And I can finally touch and feel with my hands again." Phisoxa said, she looked a little tired as she bent forward and brought Abel into an embrace, hugging him closely but after a while she seemed to be crying both tears of joy and sadness as she hugged Abel. " Its been so long, very long."

 

Raxtion was happy to see Phisoxa back again, but knew that her return only meant she would likely be grabbed by the Black Phantom. Raxtion felt increasingly guilty as every moment passed at the deal he had made. He had already lied to his friends. What was next? How many more lies would he have to tell? Raxtion wished he hadn't made that promise... now, more than ever. All he wanted was to be back with his friends. Now that he was though, he found himself wishing that he wasn't.

Rako went over to Phisoxa "Glad to see your up and running. It has been a while, hasn't it?"

 

Phisoxa stood up to her full height behind the altar to meet eyes with Rako.
" Yes it has been quite a while, it feels weird being in a human form once again. So where have you two been all of this time?" She said looking both at them, skeptical look in her eyes as Atem walked forward with an eager yet indifferent tone in his gait and composure. When he got close enough to Phisoxa, he stood in front of her. That's when she realized that even with him being only 16 years old he was still much taller then she was.
" You've grown quite tall, compared to the shrimpy son of mine I left behind. And you look so much like your father." She said wrapping her arms around him. "So where is your father huh? Gah his ambition makes me envious sometimes . ." She said as if she knew the answer already. She turned her stare to the others of the room, regarding some with a smile, some with a look of concern, and then a look that said " I feel so old." when her eyes fell upon the expecting Nuthura but she then turned back to Raxtion, a very skeptical look in her eyes once again.
" Whats wrong with Sophie . . ."

 

"I don't know, I found her lying unconscious in the dark realm with the Phantom before he disappeared." Raxtion lied. He felt terrible deceiving his friends. "Don't worry, though. I'll get her to the medical bay." said Raxtion starting to exit the room.

"Did you really want to know where I've been or where you just making chit chat?" asked Rako who seemingly didn't want to be bothered with the matter. Rako hadn't got such a warm welcome but then again, he couldn't blame them all. Honestly, if someone who had tried to kill Rako years ago came back, Rako wouldn't be too happy about it.

 

" I wanted to know since I have seen you for atleast nine years."
Phisoxa seemed a bit concerned when she heard him mention the Black Phantom.
" Wait the Black Phantom? I thought we got rid of him . . . and disappeared? Without me or Mixt's help? . . ." She said looking around the room at the people in it as if observing their strength level just by staring at them.
" We might as well be still in trouble . . ."

 

"Well... I never said I fought him. He just gave me a cryptic message and then left." said Raxtion, lying once again. "Like I said, though, I'll get Sophie to the medical bay, okay?"

"What's your rush, Raxtion?" asked Rako "She's not injured, is she?"

"Well, no... but who knows what the Phantom did to her..." stated Raxtion.

Rako sighed. "I suppose that would be best..."

 

" After fighting against the Phantom before, it doesn't sound like something he'd do so willingly. Giving up his prey and running away,when he could have just killed you and took her away. Are you sure it was the Phantom?"
Phisoxa said staring at him skeptically.

 

Raxtion uncomfortably turned back to her. "I'm positive. We fought on the beach, ask any of the children and they'll give you a perfect description of what he looked like."

 

" Its just, the mannerism you described, it doesn't sound like him. It has to be a trap especially if he left such a ideal host like Sophie behind like that. Why the hell is Sophie knocked out anyways, do you think it has anything to do with the Phantom?"
Phisoxa said looking even more skeptical.

 

"He looked older than me, but not like a grown up. He had black hair and skin so pale that I might have though he was dead if I found him sleeping. Aside from that he didn't look too creepy, but there was a weird feeling after he showed up. It was like he was releasing fear itself into the area, and a lot of it at that." Abel said to Phisoxa, describing the Black Phantom.

 

"No! Not that I know of, at least. He left in a portal. He did say he had other things to take care of..." Raxtion looked down at Sophie. "Well, listen, if we want to know anything, we should get her to the medical bay." said Raxtion quickly, trying to end the conversation.

Rako looked at Raxtion with curiosity. This was very strange behavior on Raxtion's part. And who else would know Raxtion better than Rako.

Raxtion went through the entire situation in his head. He tried to find reason or purpose to why the Phantom would just simply give himself up to be destroyed. It seemed to make sense that he and the consumers would be enemies. But what about the Phantom's revenge? He would die without getting that?

It was Phantoma's nightmare... Robbie's nightmare that these monsters would destroy us all. In Robbie's reality, Mixt was there... Maybe even Phisoxa and Raxtion's alternate self. But if Raxtion trusted the Phantom and did it his way, would there be a chance to save the future, or would the future be doomed in a completely new way?

Raxtion suddenly stopped and gasped in horror.

"No..." Raxtion mumbled to himself. The Phantom may not of lied, but he certainly didn't tell the whole truth. Raxtion gritted his teeth. It didn't matter if Raxtion had the chance to kill the Black Phantom or not, the fact was that he would still come back. Raxtion looked down at Sophie and looked upon her body with fire in his eye's. Because he knew the Phantom lay deep within her, waiting to strike. Raxtion continued towards the medical bay... but slowly... he had to think of a plan.

 

Abel was becoming a bit worried about Raxtion, at first he thought that people were just exaggerating but if this many people thought something was wrong then something probably was. And why was he moving so slowly to the medical bay? Did Sophie need the help or not? What good would being slow do?

 

" I sense something is wrong, not that my own senses are telling me this but its just these happenings. They don't seem to add up at all."
Phisoxa said looking a bit worried.
" Me either mother, I fear something terribly wrong has happened." Nuthura said commenting as a look of pain crossed her face. Phisoxa's eyes widened as she rushed to Nuthura's side.
" Damn it, of all times it has to happen now." Phisoxa said gripping Nuthura's hand. " This isn't good at all. . ."

 

Phantoma was in the control room of the station watching the consumer war get worse as more of few remaining worlds were consumed.

 

Raxtion had figured out a plan by the time he had dropped Sophie off at the medical bay. He smiled and acted casually as he dropped her off, attempting not to alert any of the staff.

Raxtion then walked back towards the room where Phisoxa and the others were. "Listen everyone. There's something I need to tell you all. I'm leaving."

Rako couldn't believe it! Something was wrong with Raxtion, he was acting strangely for a reason, but why?!

 

" What why are you leaving all the sudden Raxtion, I am serious is something up? You don't seem yourself at all."
Phisoxa said walking forward as Nuthura clung to her husband in pain.

 

"Well, to tell you the truth Phisoxa, I'm not." Raxtion walked past her to Rako "I wish I could tell you guys everything, but I can't... I simply must go. There's something that I remembered I have to do."

Rako got angry at Raxtion "I can't believe your leaving us! We need you now, more than ever! With out combined strengths we might be able to pull out of this!"

"No. I'm useless here... Especially with you around, Rako. You have all my powers and abilities. It would be pointless for me to continue to stay at this stronghold. You are much more powerful than I could ever hope to be." Raxtion smiled. "It will be like I'm here fighting with you." Raxtion then held out his hand for Rako to shake it.

Rako looked down on the hand as if it were a foriegn object. Then looked back up to look into Raxtion's eye's. Rako gawked in confusion as he shook Raxtion's hand. Then suddenly he started smiling. "Well, I guess the best of luck to you, then, Raxtion. It's dangerous out there, take care of yourself."

"I will." said Raxtion smiling. He made his way towards the exit, but stopped to look back at them all. "Good-bye everyone. I hope I see you all soon!"

 

"Raxtion... I swear if something is going on, I will find out, see you again another time I guess." Phisoxa said giving him another skeptical look as she turned back to Nuthura and gripped her hand again.

 

Raxtion took Phisoxa's words as if they were a threat. "You don't need to worry, Phisoxa. Something is going on. But I have it all taken care of." Raxtion then smiled. "You will find out what's going on... soon. I promise you that." Raxtion then grabbed a ship and took off, leaving the station and heading into the emptyness of space.

 

Nemo watched, a worried look upon his face as he felt almost powerless to stop his mother's pain.
" We need to take her to the medical bay, she can't stay like this." But in response Phisoxa only shook her head in disagreement.
" I think its better we keep her in here, I don't trust that we go and walk around the station with her like this, plus Raxtion's words worry me, it feels as this place isn't the safest to be right now."
