Kross was born in the city in the Bright Empire. He was a gifted mage at birth, able to awaken when he was ten years old. He was unfortunate, his parents were separated from him when he turned twelve and he strived to find them amidst the war, chaos, deceit, and darkness. He is very nice towards people, treasuring friendship over his own life.This has gotten him far in life, despite the war and it has made him see that there would be a bright side to all of this. He wants to find his parents, he loves them and no matter what the task, he would be ready to overcome it.

BIC: Fardel caught up to them. He couldn't let her fall out of his sight. If he lost her, his chance in getting to the Emperor would be lost.

 

Storm walked down the city street, seeing a group of people pass him on their way to the palace. He stuck his hands in his pockets and smally smiled, he couldn't blame them the emperor seemed quite popular nowadays.. He saw a man passing him on his way to his house, tilting his head."Huh..must be doing some research.."He said, smiling a little, it was a busy day it seemed.

 

The Emperor went back to his balcony and looked over his city, and at the dark clouds on the horizen. "It won't be long" he said to himself, he knew it was a matter of hours or days until the Seekers attack the city, all he needed to decied is if the city would still be useful or not.

Alisha waited for the other before continuing.

 

Fardel finally caught up to them and examined both of them before asking "Why did you stop?"

 

"Catching our breath" Michelo said. He was breathing deeply but could certainly continue at this point. He was just waiting on Alisha, oblivious that she was checking surroundings. He was just in no position to rush her, both for the fact that she was faster than him when they did move and that he was relying on her hospitality.

 

"Ok, lets keep going" Alisha said to Fardel and Michelo. She ran ahead and after awhile reached the Emperors palace. There were no guards at the front as she waited for the others to catch up.

 

Storm saw a trio of people pass him towards the palace and he blinked. Then nodded."THis emperor is popular all right..maybe I can talk to him.."He said, running up and spotting the trio at the front."Hey"He greeted, nodding to Alisha, Fardel, and Michelo."What brings you here?"

 

A newcomer also joined them. This group of theirs was getting more popular by the minute. The only real threat of having this many people around would be that Fardel would have to make sure none of them would be able to stop him when he would kill the emperor. "Greetings, friend. We are off to see the emperor. If you wish to join us, you may. But stay cautious. Things could start to get ugly with the threat of the dark seekers getting closer." Then they had finally made it to the palace. And after finally catching up with Alisha, could not help but marvel at the emperor's grand home. "Well? What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Said Fardel running up the steps heading for the doorway.

 

As they entered the Emperors palace it was almost empty, barely any guards insight as they headed to the throne room. "I will have to ask you guys to wait when we reach the throne room, I need to report first" Alisha said to the others.

 

Fardel was a little upset with this but tried not to show it. "We WILL get to meet the emperor afterwords of course. Am I correct in saying this?"

 

Storm walked alongside Fardel and looked to the side at him."And your visit to the emperor will be a peaceful one? Don't be too noisy.."He said, his smile remaining as he kept alongside the man.

 

Michelo stood against the wall and crossed arms "Security is lower than I would have expected. Especially with these attacks the lot of you have spoken of I thought there would be as many guards as bricks protecting him. Does he truly think he is strong enough to deter any direct attack?"

 

"If anyone tried to protect the Emperor they would just slow him down or get in the way, besides there are refugees that need the protection more. And don't worry, once my report is done he will meet with you" Alisha said entering the throne room, the massive doors closing behind her.

 

"Well, he's got confidence if nothing else. Though it has worked thus far so there has to be something to it. Maybe this approach just scares off anyone who would make an attempt." Michelo said, speaking out loud while waiting.

 

Music

"Possibly" said Fardel joining Michelo in speculation "However, if I were in the dark seekers position I would think that this would just make him an easier target." Fardel knew what the answer would be. Fardel also knew that the emperor must have been stronger than he anticipated. In all honesty, Fardel had never paid much attention to the government. When the troops entered his village he never thought they would do the innocents harm. And for a while they proved that theory. Now, Fardel only wished he had listened to the others who told of the troops evil and trechary. If only he had listened... Then his wife and child might be alive... Fardel then shifted his focus to the gates. No matter how tough the emperor was, Fardel knew he would do anything to bring the emperor to his knees!

 

Storm stared at Fardel, smirking a little bit and looking forward. He crossing his arms looking forward."My good sir.."He said, uncrossing his arms."The emperor is only one man, still..killing him could start a global war..with every action comes a reaction, just warning you."

 

Fardel looked oddly at the newest person to join the group "Warning me? Where have you been, under a rock? Everyone knows that the dark seekers are all headed this way. It's only a matter of time before they get here and kill the emperor themselves. I would even go so far to say that our travels have only given us a small lead on them. They could be here any second. Why do you think the emperor got rid of his gaurds? On any other day, they'd be here."

 

Alisha bowed and started giving her report on her mission. She finished with talking about her companions. "And I think they would like to meet you sir" she finished. "Of course, not like I have anything else to do right now, go fetch them, I mean go get them" The emperor said to Alisha. She left the throne room and returned to her companions. "Uh, he is willing to speak to you" she said to them.

 

Fardel was overjoyed when Alisha came to them telling that the time that they would meet the emperor would be merely moments away! Fardel tried not to see too excited and walked slowly up the steps. "Well, that's good to hear. Let's get going then." Even though Fardel was trying not to act over excited, he wasn't going to sit there and wait for the others to start moving. After all, they sort of slowed him down anyway. Fardel entered the palace and then turned to Alisha.
