"But I am only a few minutes late, I hope he isn't too angry" Alisha said sprinting down the road to make up for lost time.

Fardel sprinted after her. He ran along side her while he talked "Excuse me, but I'd like to meet the emperor, do you think you could take me too him? If only for the reason of getting the honor of meeting him?"

Leesonya walked back over to her horse, she almost forgot the two men that were with her and after she mounted the mare she turned to shout at them.
" I don't know what you three were conversing about, but its best you continued it up at the palace, she has been summoned by her master and must go there."
The woman said as she put her horse into a slow gallop and went after her.

Fardel wasn't satisfied with the answer but took what he got. He tried to keep up with the girl but she was suprisingly faster than he had thought.

Michelo walked at a hurried pace but made no effort to keep up. He could sprint well but there was no way that he could keep up the whole way. Before long a thought crossed his mind and Michelo nearly laughed. Leesonya and Alisha were off already meaning that with his invite he would be walking into the castle without an escort. A man like him walking up to the front door of the palace stating that he was a guest was sure to be a laugh. Though with the current going-ons the guards might not find it qute so humorous. All the same it was worth a shot, now was not the time to deny any charity.

OOC: Wow, you guys post fast!
BiC: Kollin meditated inside his home, toning his magic abilities. "I will bring you back, Joseph. I swear my life on it." He thought. After a while, Kollin stopped meditating and stepped outside. The city was just as it usually was, and the palace towered above everything else. "Ah, the elements are at peace within the city." He said, taking in the positive energy. He stopped by the Veteran's Graveyard to visit his brother's grave, like he did every day. "No matter how much time passes, I miss you no less. I am unsure if I will ever find a way to bring you back...But I will keep trying." He said, his hand touching the grass above his fallen brother's grave. After sitting with his brother for a while, Kollin headed for the palace to visit the Emperor. It was a bit of a walk from the graveyard to the palace, but Kollin didn't mind. When he reached the Throne Room, he noticed that the Emperor was not sitting on his throne, but standing on the balcony, watching over the city. "Emperor? Are you available to speak?" Kollin asked, hoping he wasn't catching him at a bad time.

"Of course, what would you like to speak about?" the Emperor asked Kollin, he walked back and sat on his throne to try and look formal.

Alisha had travelled over thee quarters of the trip before she slowed down to catch her breath, she waited for her two companions, not realizing how far ahead she had traveled.

Kollin stood before the Emporer and took a quick bow. "It's about my late brother, Joseph. For years I have been trying to find a way to bring him back to the world of the living using my knowledge of magic, yet every time I think about it, I feel as though I am doing something wrong. Do you feel it is right for me to try and bring him back? I know you may not have known him much or even at all, but he was a great soldier in our military."

"Well, I can say this, bring people back from the dead in wrong, I am a hyprocrite for saying it but its true. But it takes alot of work if it wasn't prepared for ahead of time, and the longer someone stays dead the harder it is. And that feeling of doing something wrong, is the minds way of saying you are doing something unnatural, but it is possible with lots of planning and practice" The Emperor said to Kollin "As for my personal opinion, I don't really care if you bring your brother back, unless he comes after me it won't affect me. But ask yourself, do you truly think it is a good idea?"

What the Emperor had told Kollin was the same thing everyone else had told him, but hearing it from one such as the Emperor showed that it was not a good idea to bring his brother back. "I see. It has been almost a year since his passing...Maybe it's already too late." He said, his head lowered. "If you say it is wrong, your highness, then it is wrong. Joseph shall rest in peace. Thank you for speaking with me, it has helped me greatly." Kollin said, bowing yet again to his Emperor.

OOC: Whoopsie, that's what I get for not wearing my glasses... :sorry:
BiC: Kollin turned back to the Emperor, "My apologies, my liege. My opinion? Well, I want nothing more to bring my brother back to me, as he was my only living family member other than myself. But if the cost of bringing him back is too much for him, you, or the people of the great kingdom, then I suppose I shall let him rest. Besides, by the time I learn a Resurrection spell, it will, like you said, probably be too late. In short, thanks to you, my opinion is to let Joseph rest in peace." Kollin responded, holding back tears.

"Let me tell you a tale, I had a friend and she was killed, after ten years she was brought back to life. Now let me say this, even if you believe its too late to bring back your brother what benifits do you think the ability to revive the dead would be normally, then add the war? I may think its unatural to bring back the dead, but I am an unnatural existance at the same time, so do you still thinks it worth a try? Or are you just going to give up?" The Emperor asked Kollin.

Kollin was torn at this point. He made some valid points: Yes, it was unnatural, but at the same time, there could be a chance that Joseph could come back and be completely fine. Plus, with the war going on, a Resurrection spell could potentially eliminate casualties all together. "You know...I won't give up. Even if I can't save my brother, the spell I am looking to learn could benefit the war effort immensely. Is there a place you recommend I go to seek this training? I have yet to find a magic user who knows such a spell."

"A spell like this can't be learned, you must make it youself. You need to figer out how to interact with the heart, body and soul. Then you need to learn how to recreate such things, and then how to defiel them, it is a dark magic but not an evil one, there are also other ways, such as alchemy or time magic, but all three require great training. And then after mastering one of these you must then create your own rechinues until you can raise the dead" The Emperor said to Kollin.

Out took Michelo a short while to realize they were waiting for him to catch up. Once he noticed that he sprinted onward, but despite the initially fast pace the hunger and fatigue quickly got to him. By the time he caught up he was barely jogging and breathing very hard. "Why did you wait for me? Don't you need to hurry?" He said in between breaths.

"I need to catch my breath" Alisha said to Michelo as she stood there breathing heavily, but her eyes were watching her surroundings, something was following them, Alisha was getting ready for a suprise attack while trying to make it look like she was oblivious.

"Then I still have work to do. Thank you, your majesty. Your knowledge knows no bounds." Kollin said, bowing and leaving the throne room. He walked back towards his home, ready to train like the Emperor said. "The Heart, Body and Soul...The heart is what holds every person's light and darkness...The body is the Heart's vessel. But the soul...What is a soul exactly?" He thought. As he walked, he noticed a group of people headed for the castle. They seemed to be in a hurry, so Kollin didn't bother them. "They must have urgent business. No matter. I have business of my own." He said to himself as he reached his home. His walls were lined with books containing knowledge of the Magic Arts, everything from Fire spells, to Healing spells were contained in these volumes. He pulled a book of of the top shelf of one of his bookshelves, it was titled "Cure: The Medicinal Magic". "Could altering this spell be enough?" he said as he flipped through the pages of the book.
