Keyblade War: Once apon a time......

Mark stood there, stunned, flaming keyblade in his hands, he had summoned it before the fight broke out, but hadn't attempted to do anything, "dang.... how did you...?" he asked staring at the point where Fardel had vanished.
A million thoughts raced through Mark's mind, not the least of which that the emperor might be just as bad as the man he had just killed, "i-is it true that your men killed his family?"

 

"I have an army that has soldiers, most fight to prtect, unfortuantly not all of them follow a good moral code, like the ones that took his family. But he got his venegence, unforuantly it swallowed him whole and what you just saw is the end result" The Emperor said to Mark.

 

Mark nods softly, he didn't know much about armies, but the Emperor's story seemed truthful. Mark lowered his guard, the flames on Lionheart fading away as his arms hung at his sides, the keyblade's tip touching the ground. "Are you really powerful enough to re-write someone's mind, like she said?" he asked, glancing over at Alisha, "and why do you need people to do this for you?"

 

"Yes I am that powerful, I have done it before, and the reason why I can't go and do this myself, Is I can't enter the place" The Emperor said to Mark.

 

Jeckheld, Farrow, and Lee stood unable to intervene in the fight since he was their Emperor, but all three were a little confused as to what had just happened.

 

"but you're... powerful... who could possibly keep you from entering that palace, if we can?" he asked, staring down at his keyblade, "I mean, I'm not even supposed to be with you people, but still, you sent a commoner, a few knights, and an insane guy to do something that someone as powerful as yourself can't do? What in Kingdom Hearts have I gotten myself into?!"

 

"Actually its rather simple, it is made so I can't enter, and so who is imoprisoined in there can't leave" The Emperor said to Mark.

 

"So... you sent them so that they'd spring the trap and get caught, and I'm the unlucky idiot that got sucked into it... dang... so... anyway... I guess we'd better get going, huh? Time to head off to our doom and stuff like that, right?" he said, dispelling his keyblade and turning, starting to march toward the city gate and glancing over his shoulder, "you guys comming, or what? This is your emperor we're working for, not mine."

 

The turnout was miserable. Storm's eyes went blank with that hidden hatred, he had kept his most darkest emotions bottled up for so long, he nearly bursted. To see Fardel gone like that..gone in that festering darkness, his eyes grew cold at this betrayal. His knees shook and he clenched his fists. He saw Mark walk ahead, contemplating for a moment, then caught up with him."I'll find Fardel and bring him back, I can't just let him go like this, even if he is a jerk!"

 

Mark turned his head to look at Storm. Mark's face was set and determined, but something wasn't quite right in his eyes, as if something in the boy had snapped. "I don't know... You saw what he did, you saw what both of them did. I'm not sure who we can trust, but we've already started this, so we need to finish it."

With that Mark turned his head to face the gates again, and strode towards them silently.

 

Storm was silent, yes, he saw what Fardel did, this much was true, but everyone deserved a second chance. He firmly believed that he could get Fardel back, he knew he could."..I'm not going to lose another friend to the darkness."He told Mark, catching up to him again and walked alongside him."I'm quick to forgive..I will bring Fardel back, even if it means my life, so get used to seeing me Mark, you'll be doing it a lot."He said, smiling and looking at him.

 

Mark grinned, "good... because I think the best way to find him is to keep hanging out with all these knights and magicians, the way things are going, something's bound to happen."​

 

Lee started to walk forward again and stopped to wait for the others, her sword clanking against her armored thigh.
" I know its hard, but we've got to continue on with this mission. The faster we get to it, the more likely we are going to catch up with him the long run."

 

The Emperor simply left the group. Alisha spoke quietly to the group "Alright, I guess we should get going" she said as she lead the way.

 

Storm was still worried for Fardel. His eyes looked over to Mark and he nodded."You're right..both of you, we just need to go, maybe we'll run into him and convince him to rejoin us."He said, then listened to Alisha and nodded."Okay."He said, smiling as he followed.

 

Mark strode after Alisha, face set, determined to help these knights complete their mission even if he wasn't quite sure about the emperor... the Dark Seekers were definetly far worse than anything the Emperor could be.

 

OOC: Okay guys, let's get back on track and keep this RP moving. We can't just let it die in favor of others.

 

OOC: I completely agree with you... what should we do now?

 

OOC: Man, I honestly don't know. I've been trying to get Riku to post, but he's been off playing Mass Effect 3. I don't know when we'll see him again, and he's the main guy!

 

OOC: *sigh* the main people in all the RPs I am in aren't posting, except for one, but that doesn't count because they post so fast at times when I can't be online, so I have no hope of keeping up with them...
