Keyblade War: Once apon a time......

Mark glanced up at silver haired woman, Lee, as they walked, "why do you hate her so much?" he asked, after swallowing another mouthfull of chicken, and wiping his hands on his already grimy shirt.

 

" Because she is vile, cruel, and likes nothing but preying on men and letting them pamper her. Nanine . . . The only way she can live up to that pretty name is through her looks but that's it. I just hope she gets whats coming to her that's all."
Lee said sighing as Jeckhold looked down upon her, shaking his head.

 

Fardel listened to it with sadness in his heart. He had always had the love of his life... but never thought what it would be like to have a person that never cared about anyone else but themselves. That was, in fact, cruelty... at least cruel to call such a selfish act love.

 

Storm silently listened to Lee. His expression darkened a bit and his lips thinned. He stuck his hands in his pockets to prevent them from clenching. Conceit always beckoned darkness..and so did selfishness, greed, lust and jealousy. He frowned. How could people feel such a negative emotion? It astounded and disappointed him.

 

Fardel took note of Storm's sudden change. That had to be the first time he had seen Storm not be grossly optimistic. It was... interesting...

 

Lee looked as if she were going to shed a tear till Farrow grabbed her by the shoulder.
" Lee I can't stand back and let my predicament tear me away from my best friends, maybe after all the fighting is over and our services no longer needed, you, me, Jeckhold, we can quit the military,run away from this place and never turnback, and perhaps have a normal life away from the rules of society. We don't have to worry about marriages and politics anymore. I know you would like that very much. It will be just like the old days, us three spending our days hanging out again, not being separated by troublesome military missions and relationships."

 

Michelo chuckled. "So I finally enter society and you decide to run from it. Best be careful where you go, not that you would want to stay near here anyway but the animals are scared of what has been happening. You won't be able to live well anywhere near here until it is all over with."

 

"Hmm... Society isn't all that bad." Said Fardel thinking back on his life at his village "It just depends on your circumstances..." Fardel then thought about all the destruction he had seen, and all the terribly impersonal places, such as the city, that he had been to before adding "... and luck..."

 

" Thats why we can't just hit the road and run now, or else we wouldn't be here at the moment if opprutunity was good for the taking. Anyways its not like we are running from all of society we are just running from nobility and military society. Lee and I are both part of nobility, Jeckhold is probably the only average joe out of all three of us, he was lucky and grew up as the son of a blacksmith."
Jeckhold smiled at Farrow's remark and walked along as Farrow ranted on.
" After all why else would you think my father would be putting me into a marriage with someone who is so spiteful, nobility is all but a game around here and the worse thing that could possibly happen is that it now ties in with the military. Honestly all I wish is for normal lives for me and my friends. Not under chains."

 

Storm watched as the others talked. He smiled, dusting his arms off and stretched them."Well, time to get our hands dirty.."He said and lightly chuckled."So, guys..if you had descendants, what would you name them?"He asked, turning and walking backwards, looking at the group."I think a name for my great great granddaughter would be..Aqua, it rings."He said, grinning.

Fardel suddenly got upset. His only daughter was murdered... Fardel would never have descendants... "Let's talk about something else, this conversation bores me!"

 

"Can't say I ever thought about it" Michelo said, living in the woods constantly he rarely met anyone, having kids wasn't even any where close to being on his mind. After Fardel's protest he added "So what exactly is the mission anyway. I know most of us are just protecting Alisha, but what is she doing? Hopefully nothing we have to do quietly. I can't exactly see the lot of us going unnoticed"

 

Mark chuckled at this, "Well, if you guys can't go unnoticed, then I guess I'll just have to escort the lovely lady myself," he said, "after all, I've got two of those key-thingys, that means I'm better than someone with just one, right?"

 

"Make no mistake, friend, we are all going. There is no way your going by yourself. Now quit acting like a tough guy with the weapons that you were clueless about until just a couple minutes ago!" Insulted Fardel, then he turned to Michelo "I would hope that she has some sort of diplomatic mission to attend to, such as signing treaties, ect. However, if her mission be a more violent one, then I hope that she has her own plans of escaping..."

 

Storm nodded to Fardel's words and looked over to to Michelo, then Mark and grinned gently."Yeah, we're in this together."He said, punching his fists together and smiled sweetly. He then glanced over to Fardel."I fully hope that you can help her, in that time.."He said, smiling and walked forward, scratching his chin for a moment."We're like Knights."He said, grinning."Escorting a princess."He added.

 

Mark ignores Fardel's harsh words, and glances down at his grimy clothes, heh, me, a knight? I'll have to try that on for size sometime, he thought, visualizing himself in a suit of fancy armor... maybe with a cape.

 

"Except I am a Knight and you two are commoners" Alisha said to Storm and Mark. She looked at the group before getting a small blue stone out of her pocket "My mission is to retreve a stone like this, they are increadible rare and powerful, for anyone who knows how to use them. I must collect seven of these for the Emperor" she said to the group.

Above the group on top of the building stood a cloaked creature that had black angelic wings but before any of them could take notice it vanished from sight, but it continued to stalk them.

 

"And exactly how important are these stones to the Dark Seekers?" asked Fardel, simply waiting for a response that would make him even more uncomfortable with the situation.

 

Mark ignores Alisha's rebuke, and instead listens to Fardel's questions, "yes, I'd like to know the same thing," he added.

 

Fardel looked around and became angry. This group was so large that they wouldn't even be able to attempt to sneak into the Dark Seekers territory. And some of them, Fardel looked at Storm then Mark, were more niave than the others...
