Keyblade War: Once apon a time......

"If you two mess up this assigment I will make sure that the Empror dosen't waste time by listening to your report, because I will throw you to the seekers" Alisha said, threatning the two knights that joined them.

 

Jeckhold starred over at Alisha scoldingly and sighed.
" We aren't helpless you know, we have been your Emperor's knights for years now, have you even taken the time to give us any sort of recognition other then scrutiny. Anyways I am only foolish when Farrow is around, after all he is like a jester among the ranks."
The man said walking along, compared to Farrow he was indeed more mature and well composed then the man in the back.

 

"So does anyone here even know the way?" Michelo asked based on the earlier discussion.

 

"Kind of, which is why I wanted a guide" Alisha said to Michelo, ignoring the Knight.

 

"The dark fortress.."Storm said, his smile immediately turning to a frown. He felt a little irked at that mission. He thought for a moment. He scratched his chin and bit his lip."..I'm not sure, I don't remember going there."He said, smiling sweetly to Alisha before looking to Fardel. He put a hand to the boy's shoulder, his eyes furrowing with concern."Hey, will you be okay?"

 

Mark took a few steps toward the knights... this is my chance! He thought to himself, I can be part of a real adventure!
As he made his way towards the group, he shouted out, "You need a guide? I can help you!"

 

Lee, the pale haired soldier from before walked more farther up to the head of the group after giving Farrow her bag to carry, he grunted in irritation and kept going as he slung the bag over onto his back.
" Its like I am the pack mule now." Jeckhold chuckled and replied to his comment. " I think it fits you."

 

"What?" Alisha asked the new comer who wanted to join the group, she quickly realized what he wanted "I can't say yes unless you understand how dangerous this will be" she said to him.

 

Mark grinned at the raven-haired woman. "Then explain it to me so we can get going, you guys need a guide, don't you?" he said, silently adding, and I want to feel usefull.

 

OOC: Dude, Kross, have you been paying attention? Fardel is like 32 years old... He's definently not a boy. :/ I thank you for your concern though. However, I don't think Fardel is going to be too happy about it. (He's kind of a loner... and a little bit of a jerk.)

BIC: Fardel felt Storm's hand on his shoulder. "Obviously the emperor thought that we were enough, so of course I'll be okay. You should worry about yourself. Everyone else is." Fardel said pulling away from Storm. It was obvious to Fardel that his uncomfortableness with the situation was showing. He then acted calm and cool and tried not to think about it, to avoid scaring anyone else. Fardel was still uneasy with the idea. He had never fought a Dark Seeker himself, though he had seen others do it in front of him.

Great, who is this guy? thought Fardel. He barely trusted Storm and Michelo. Fardel had never seen them in battle to know if either of them were man enough. Then the two bumbling idiots had joined to carry most of the load. Meaning that they would have to defend them as well. Now, this guy... This was either going to be the greatest achievement, or the greatest disaster ever...

 

OOC: He's still a guy..right? XD I can call 30 year old men boys >w>

Bic: As Fardel pulled back, Storm blinked, scratching the back of his head and caught up to the group."So--" He was interrupted, looking over to the man and tilted his head to the side, pointing to his chin."Sure, you can join us! The more the merrier!"He said, smiling softly, then looked over to Fardel."Come on, we can let him join right?"He asked, smiling softly. he didn't look it, but he could handle himself in battle very well.

 

OOC: Well, I guess if you really want to! XD

BIC: Fardel simply gave a grunt. However he looked at Storm and noticed he was being sincere. Fardel, even though he didn't like it, thought it was appropriate to reply. "I suppose there wouldn't be a problem with it." Even though Storm's optimistic nature bothered Fardel, he wasn't going to be rude to Storm over it.

Fardel approached this new comer. "Well, since your so eager to get going, then let's not waste anytime. Do you know what a 'Dark Seeker' is?" and without even letting him respond, Fardel continued "Of course you do. If you don't, then you won't be of much help as a guide. We need to go to the Dark Fortress which is the capital of the Dark Seekers. They could easily out number and slaughter us all. Thankfully, our mission is a diplomatic one. So we may be able to talk ourselves out of there alive. Our presence will not be welcomed kindly, and our purpose and mission will not be well revieced. It is a risky mission at the least. But WE are here to mainly defend her..." Fardel pointed to Alisha "... and we will do that even if it means our lives. Now are you still eager to get going? Or have you changed your mind with what I have just told you?"

 

OOC: Mark is the boy, XD, you can call him a man, but he's only in his mid teens, a bit over sixteen.
IC:
Mark looked at Fardel and Storm, "I've been there, or at least, to that area, I can lead you to the Dark Fortress, I know that it will be dangerous," he said flatly, "I don't have any more maps, so you need me to go with you... I sold them all to get dinner..... three days ago."
A noise comes from Mark's midsection that sounds like a bear growling... proabably his stomach roaring with hunger.

 

OOC: Ha, if you say so my friend XD

BIC: Storm smiled a little at Fardel and nodded, then glanced over at Mark."Well we should get some food when we pass by towns, it'll help ya!"He said, clapping his hands together."Then it's settled! You're coming with us."He said, grinning cheerfully and nodded, then looked at Fardel."You're so depressing~You gotta loosen up, this is an adventure!"He looked to Alisha, smiling brightly and waved.

 

Fardel grabbed Storm and then threw him to the ground. "You listen to me. You don't tell me how I should act, and I won't tell you how you should act. Got it?!" Fardel said with anger in his voice. He was fine with putting up with Storm's optimistic attitude, but he wasn't going to stand around and let anybody tell him how he should be. At least this new guy was in... However much help he would be would remain unknown. Fardel still worried... Suddenly, Fardel remembered something. He reached into his pocket to see if it was still there... it was. He left it there. It would be used as a precaution, just in case things got rough.

 

"Seems like nobody is getting much food recently" Michelo said as he handed over the slightly less than half a chicken that remained from what he grabbed out of the palace earlier. Completely ignoring Fardel and Storm he continued "So we've eaten, those of us with something to bring have it, we've got a guide, I think we're ready to go."

 

Mark grinned, then looked at Fardel, "seriously, I can take care of myself, how would I have gotten so close to the Fortress otherwise?" he asked, holding out both hands, "beside the point... I have these."
Mark's hands were suddenly filled with fire, each hand holding what looked like a flaming sword... then the fire died away and the glinting metal of Lionheart and the Bond of Flame were revealed, his two keyblades.

 

"What are those?" asked Fardel, mentioning Mark's weapons.

 

Mark looked at his keyblades, spinning them in his hands, he dropped Bond of Flame, which vanished in a gyser of fire, and gripped Lionheart with both hands, doing a few thrusts and slashes in the air, "I'm not really sure.... but they're awesome, hmm?" he said, making a small fireball dance along Lionheart's length.

 

Fardel was not satisfied with the answer. "It's disappointing that there are warriors that don't even know the weapon they use."
