I heard this theory on another forum,so it's not mine. I'll try to explain it best I can.
Anyway, you know the part in the BBS trailer where the bald dude took that purple ball of fire thing and it shot up into the sky? That's the keyblade heart, and the keyblade heart ends up becoming the new enemy. So the new enemys are like keyblade heartless.

I found this theory interesting, and kind of likely to be true. Thoughts?

Keyblades do not have hearts (unless you want to count KH1's Riku dark keyblade thingy). Master Xehanort was just using his keyblade to unlock Kingdom Hearts (I doubt he created it). Nobody knows exactly what those new enemies are...maybe they are primative heartless(which technically would still count as a new enemy).

Yeah, I download the KH on DVD disc from Crisp and yeah, right before Master Xehanort summons the purpleish ball, his keyblade was there, but then it wasn't. His keyblade turned into the ball.

Sounds like a cliched plot if ya ask meh. XD

B'sides, what would Keyblades need hearts for if they have KEYCHAINS? o:

Oh yeah I just remembered something else the guy said, that the keychains held the hearts of the keyblades, and when they're connected to a keyblade then their power gets drawn out.

=/ i dont think keyblades could have hearts...Hearts are locks. Keys are not locks. Keys unlock locks. Im pretty sure the darkball thing was his way of "unlocking kingdom hearts"

Well, what if the keychains adds power to it's weilder? Then it'd be like Master Xehanort would have like super powers...like he already does >_>

I dun't think so. I think that the Keyblades themselves represent its wielder or probably that the Keyblade itself is a manifestation of said person's power. If it COULD add to the person's current power, it woulda been said already in canon
