Birth by Sleep keyblade...Broken??!!?!?

About the freezing... I think there was more to MX's magic than simply freezing. Very cold metal breaks easily yeah, but seriously that was the first time a Keyblade broke. A Keyblade with magical powers... you can't put that aside and say the Keyblade obeys the laws of physics [and these very same laws barely exist in the KH universe. ^~^; Levitating keys pls?]. It feels a bit more than just "frozen things break". I think only Masters can break a Keyblade.

yeah i definately agree with that, since that was what i was trying to say a few posts back (u said it better though), but seriously going by anime and shows and video games with swords...usually when a sword breaks, it really makes a problem. Especially the" magical" ones. ie: Rave Master, Bleach...

 

i dont believe keyblades are created from memories at all, they are created from the bond everyone has with sora's heart, just how i look at it

True, Master Xehanort's spell was not normal. But more than being that only a Master has the power to destroy another keyblade, it would more likely be Master Xehanort's magical knowledge and strength that would make the difference. Likely, if the spell had anything to do with it, it would simply nullify the "protective" magical properties of the keyblade.

 

That's plausible... considering what we thought was a Blizzard-esque spell could be something on a totally different caliber. I mean, since when have we ever seen a blizzard spell like that? Almost all the times it is used, it manifests itself as ice crystals but never like a flash freeze type move.

 

Yes, that spell was not normal, and im not sure exactly what the meaning of the broken keyblade is, but perhaps we will find out soon.

 

actually to be honest we have never seen blizzard used in a kh cutscene...ever. Only Riku's dark fire, donalds healing and lightning annnd...thats it...I highly doubt that Nomura would change a spells animation after several games but...hes been known to twist things to make them possible. Also we aren't quite sure that the spell was a blizzard spell. Sure we saw ice and ven was frozen, but the dark flash before all of that...perhaps freezing is a result of w/e spell MX did but it was really something else.
