Sony Kevin Butler links a mysterious trailer on Twitter

Ok KHV, it seems that our good old friend Kevin Butler has posted a link to this trailer, well, half a trailer anyway, its supposed to announce something big to PlayStation. Here's the video:

The full trailer for this will be released as it said, October 10th, so KHV, what do you think this could be? Could it be something big for PSN? Could it be a new game? Could it be something for the Vita? What? WHAT?!

 

I think it's Battlefield 3. The game is supposed to come out on October 25, and then a month later PSN gets the DLC earlier than xbox and PC

 

Well, if you look at the backround, you can see Lightnings sword from FFXIII, and if you look at the tray you can see the things you collect in LBP, and I think on the rack of weapons you can see Kratos's blades of chaos, than if you look next to the three headed dog, you can see the little bot thing that Otocon used in MGS4, I doubt its something for Battlefield 3. This is something big, for all of Playstation, not just some exclusive DLC, there have been plenty of PSN exclusive DLC's that came later to Xbox, oh and I think the soldiers represent Resistance.

 

Oh great. It's the Sony version of Super Smash Bros.

 

Hmmmm, that would seem stupid and awesome at the same time.

It could be a conference? O_O If it has little small things from games?

 

Seriously though. If it was a Sony version of Super Smash Bros. I'd be mad and a little happy. Though I'd hate their guts I'm sure I'd enjoy playing it.

If i'm going from a symbolism stand point...
Paid community... content or gaming, maybe?

The soldiers paying to enter that exclusive room likely means some type of exclusive service or upgrade that you will have to pay for in order to access.
The collection of different weapons and gadgets from several PS3 centred industries such a FF and MGS likely means a PS3 exclusive.
Whilst the rooom full of presumed different Video Game characters, having fun and the such together, likely points to somethig to do with the community of the PS3.

Beyond that I have no clue.

There's also a guy at the end of the trailer that appears ever so slightly. Not a scooby as to who though. Old Snake came to mind lol.

They best not be making the PSN paid, though, or I will throw a hissy fit.

 

It would be hilarious if that's the announcement. They release a trailer, nobody understands what it is, the hype gathers and then... PSN IS BEING PAID FOR. Man, Sony would get so hated for that, but I would absolutely love them.

Anyway, it's probably just a home thing.

That was a lot cooler than I expected it to be. It's pretty sweet how they thanked all the gamers.

Also, Kratos looked horrible in this, just terrible. Everyone else looked pretty well, the actors looked fine.
