Okay-Im sitting here on the computer,Kerrang! Tv playing in the backround-and what song do I hear...Good Girls go Bad by Cobra Starship. Discusted,I turn on Scuzz to listen to real rock. Okay,Seriously,Has Kerrang! lost their minds?? I was shocked when Nu-Metal was introduced but seriously-Playing a chav song is just too...Uch!! xD Veiws
Well I can't say I've ever watched (nor known of its existence) Kerrang! TV, but look at it this way: Cobra Starship is a very popular band, and if Kerrang! wants to maintain their past success than they need to start appealing to a larger crowd. I have to say though, my sister used to subscribe to Alternative Press and I would get very annoyed with how limited it was. I liked their album reviews and the area where they featured up and coming bands, but almost every other page was littered with advertisements or interviews with My Chemical Romance or something. :/
Kerrang will just play anything that has a vague association to a rock band. Though they played Four Year Strong and they promote them pretty well in their magazine, so they are getting better than they were 2 years ago. You should listen to Lava, it's a great channel to listen to lesser known alternative stuff.
