It seems a bit disheartening if someone has posted in the Departure Lobby and noobs want to post in Introduce Yourself and they see the most recent thread someone has posted in is either 'Goodbye' or 'Cya later' or something that brings out the message that you really shouldn't introduce yourself if you're scared of ending up like the people in the Departure lobby.

My question(if that was too confusing) Could we movw the Departure Lobby Sub-Forum out of the Introduce Yourself thing and keep the Departure lobby as a separate place???

Seems like a plausable idea, nice thinking.

However, there may be disadvantages into doing so, that mods may point out later on, I think...

There really is no other place for it to go really. Departures and the Introductions go kind of together since one is for joining the forum and the other leaving. Most people who leave are going on vacation anyway and those who leave for good, well that's up to them. Also, do we really have a reason to be hiding departure things from those who come in and introduce themselves? I don't think so. If the departures scare them off, they aren't very used to forums or chat discussion areas and well, it's a wake up to reality on any sort of forums really. I'd say that though I see your point in a sense, I don't think we should have a need to move Departures from where it is.

I'm all for it! Though, as Repliku pointed out, there are disadvantages to this. Still, a good idea. I remember seeing that when i was a noob so yeah, why not???

Yea, it's a good idea. I think it should be a different section, not a subsection. Not a lot of people go to the departure lobby unless it is the most recent post, which it usually is not. Otherwise, everyone is in the introduction center :P

Yes, there are more advantages then that.

I don't think we need a whole other section for the "Departure Lobby"... it's clearly labeled in the subsection, so I can't see what's so confusing about it. Like Repliku said, "Introduce Yourself" is the best place to put it.

Instead of making it it's own forum or moving it... Can't the Admins like Rename it?
    For example

    "Introductions and Departures"

    It wouldn't hurt anything

EDIT: More than likely not, because the staff will say that the members will get confused and post departures in the intro section xD

I don't mean it like the noobs will post in the Departure Lobby instead. Maybe combining them would be better. As Cupcake suggested, Introductions and Departures. Wouldn't do any harm. But maybe i was wrong about changing it, hmmm...

    1) Please please please read the date of the thread before you post D:

    2) Departure Lobby will stay as a subsection, but we might change the name of the section to Arrivals and Departures or something similar.
