as pretty much none of you know, I've always pretty much hated motion control and online play for vidyas. But you know what, I'm actually looking forward to this XblockOne thing. It's pretty much getting me back into console gaming, looking at the updates and press releases. It looks like a solid machine and despite some of the issues with the camera, used games and whatever else, I'm thinking they can make this thing work for them. Hell, I might even use it as a cable box, too. I guess what I'm getting at in general is that I'm actually about as psyched for this shit as I can be about anything. Oh, yeah, how much anyone wanna bet Sony cocks up the PS4 completely?

I buy consoles for the games, so I'm reserving judgement until I see the games they have planned for it. Just last year everyone was ripping Sony for their magic wand with the book and the kids and the thing with the other thing and now everyone think they're going to top whatever Microsoft is doing so I don't buy it.

I agree, Jiku. I get that people are feeling quite disorganized over the new features, but that's what people go through with change.
The Xbox One may seem bad at first, but if they give it a chance, Im sure they will enjoy it.

Xbox one is one of the worst things to happen in gaming history
It's not just all the different problems, but how arrogantly anti-consumer Microsoft is
They insult people who want backwards compatibility, they talk down to people without HDMi TVs. They complain about gamers expecting to be 'pandered' to
And they have to ego to believe, no, EXPECT, the Xbox One will sell better than the COMBINED Sales of the previous generation
And they try to spin limitations off as good things
Oh, we'll LET you use your game on up to ten different accounts on your console! We've decided to give you the OPPORTUNITY to trade in your games, if the publisher says it's okay
Oh, yo want to turn off the Kinect? Just unplug the entire system, duh! (that's their actual reasoning, btw)

And their INSISTENCE that TV is where the future is
    TV is DYING
And their TV features... literally their selling point is that you don't have to change inputs.

I think it was Yahtzee who said Microsoft is after some sort of magic demographic. People who afford the latest 4K resolution TVs, who are too lazy to use a remote, yet active enough to use the kinect, who don't trade in games, and don't care about having their game restricted to a single (now confirmed for two, but the point stands) console

I think this sums it up pretty well too:
" Loaning or renting games won’t be available at launch"
    THE FUTURE

i think when the Xbox One comes out, KHV should scan the member's household for one. If they possess one, their IP will be banned and their account deleted.
