Kalian - 150PA (Post Apocalypse)

"Thank you. Any help would be appreciated. I have some stocks but there is little in the way of food preservation here. I trade for salt with the traders in the old 'town' but they are not always helpful. Not all humans like me and I have been attacked many times. One day however none of this will matter. Until then I do the best I can. When I've hunted I'll gather wood for tonight. I gather no one likes their meat raw?"

 

"I see no reason, why a human, would want to hurt a none-human" Melody said rising her hand up fast as a small dagger flew up in to it
"We must learn to work together, Human and none-human"

 

"raw is okay with me, as long it is meat." She said and smiled, "i will see you soon." She said as she pulled out both swords, Gently she flew off.

 

"I couldn't agree more nut sadly there are the 'Purists' who believe that only humans have the right to live. Instead of working together to rebuild this shattered land they divide it even more. They are so short sighted."

 

"Not all humans are like that, all races has good and bad sides, just each side needs to be shown that we are more alike then it seems" Melody said as he walked out of the cave with Kyla.

 

Kyla took off and flew towards a herd of beasts. She swooped down and brought one of them down. Time was of the essence so she butchered it there. The predators would smell the blood and gather soon. She would have to move fast and she wasn't always this lucky. Kyla flew back to Melody. "We will eat well tonight."

 

"That's what I like about you none-humans, you can hurt for food better then us humans, a good reason why we should work together"

 

"I was born Like this and I cannot change who I am. If the wars had never happened I would not exist at all. It's strange to think that my kind exist because of such a violent act. I'm not sure who this group is really a friend yet. I don't know them."

 

Jade saw deer like creatures, quickly she dived down and slashed two on the neck, the creatures fell silently. Jade picked them up and flew back, "two should be enough i think or do you want more, kyla?" She asked her.

 

"Maybe things come from violent, we humans who have power gained them, the say way your kind way born, and both are for the better of life on this planet"

"Thank you Jade. We will have plenty of food tonight. It seems that in our new world the women work and the men laze about. A lot like big cats such as lions I believe. Well we will have to find a way to make them earn their keep as well. They will get fat and useless otherwise. Perhaps they can catch the wood? It will move slow enough for them I think!" Kyla started to laugh.

 

OCC: I leave for one day and I miss a hundred posts, so, what did I miss?

 

Kyla flew back to the cave and stored the meat as best she could for the evening meal. She had cooked unleven bread earlier and was passing it round to the others. Thanks to a kindly trader she had a decent store of grain and enough provisions to keep her for a while, though she hadn't planned on the others. She ate the bread slowly, washing to down with water. She looked at the others. Why had they come here?

Nichi walked alone though he seemed to crouch close to the ground "Im can definetly smell mutants they're somewhere around here, I also smell meat, I think possibly animal meat, I don't know the scent it week." His stomach rumblled. Tsuki sighed and shook his head. "Damn it! Im soo hungry, Its been ages since we had something to it." Tsuki put his hand to his fore-head in disbeleif
"You just ate an hour or two ago. You ate my share as well. How can you say that your still hungry?" Nichi smiled and put his hand behind his head in embarresment
"I don't know, I get hungry quickly, erm, I have a, erm, whats it called?"
"Fast Motabilism, its called. I would have thought its been dug into your school, the amount of times I've told you." Nichi's face went serious and he then crotched down onto the floor and sort of crawled quickly north-east which was forwards and right a bit. As Nichi crawled he spoke
"Your really soo smart, How come you know so much about Medical things?"

 

Helseth had found shelter in the abandoned town, "Damn, I was hoping to have some fun here." He eat the last of his food and drank the last of his water and fell asleep thinking, "Looks like I'll need to stock up, well, that's what the humans are for."

 

"i'll be outside flying if you want me." She said to Kyla she smiles, "thanks for letting us stay for a while." She said as she stops at the door, Jade walked outside and flew up into the air, spiraling up into the clouds then diving back down.

Kyla flew back to the cave with a blanket filled with fire wood. She unloaded the fuel and repeated the exercise. This took a lot out of her as trees were scarce nearby so she had to fly further away. She landed and stored the wood before collapsing to rest. The others were no help it seemed. She didn't need the extra burden. She wanted things to be quiet again.
