Kalian - 150PA (Post Apocalypse)

Kuju became quiet and thought to himself, 'I'm not expecting to live through this journey, I have nothing left after this quest, death would be welcoming to me.'

 

"You would be welcome in my family. I would take you in as my own. I don't care what others think. Please live and join us. You will always have a home."

 

''After this adventure Im gannah go back to drifting threw the waste land''

 

"We would welcome you with open arms." he said. "You would be apart of the family"

 

''I'll pass on that offer I want to see more of this world.........''

Kyla grinned at Zeke. "You will never settle down Zeke, you have itchy feet. I can see you traveling as an old man. Probably with a family following behind you."

 

''I doubt I'll ever have a family Kyla..........''

 

Kyla looked concerned. "Don't say that. There is no reason for you not to. Why would you even think that?"

 

''its not my style I dont want to settle down.........''

 

"You say that now but you will change your mind when you are older. Even I'd like to have kids one day." Kyla grinned.

 

Tor's eyes grew wide and blushed. "K-k-kids?" he asked, a little nervous.

 

"I assume from that you have never considered a future beyond yourself? I was brought up in a happy family until they were killed. It's only natural I would want a family as well. I guess that subject is off the table in the future." Kyla looked sad before turning and walking on faster.

 

"I just never thought about it before!" he said, chasing after her. "Please don't be mad, I was just a little shocked, that's all!"

 

Kyla kept on walking. She didn't want anyone to see she was crying. She thought he wanted to be with her for life, but that meant she might as well be alone. Looking ahead she could see that they were nearly at the hills. She sniffed and spoke up. "We will make camp soon, it'll be dark and dangerous."

 

"Please wait Kyla!" he said. "Please don't be mad at me, I want to be with you! I just never thought about kids! Lets talk about this!"

 

"I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at myself. I should not assume that life will turn out well. Even if everything happens as predicted I'll still be unable to have the normal life I crave. Forgive me." She found a sheltered hollow by the side of a sheer wall. "This is about as good a campsite as we will find I feel."
