Zeke jumped off KYla's back ,he was limping as he walked torwards Valerie........


''What are you suppose to be mrs.Valerie?''

BIC: Kuju reached into the bag and retrieved the map, "Hm, it would seem that we are close to one, but it also seems that it is specific on where it may be, it justs seems to be in the area ahead."

 

"I trust you instinct on this one. We all have skills that are useful." Kyla grinned and offered him the lodestone. "Will this help at all?"

 

"What is that trinket?" He asked observing it.

 

"It's a lodestone. It always points to magnetic north. You use it for navigation." Kyla handed it to Kuju and smiled. Perhaps he would trust them more if he could see the trip was organised.

 

''huh? a compass? let me see ^^''


Zeke grabs the compass then looks at it........

''this small thing is gannah help us find the scrolls?''

 

"Yes." Tor said. "It will help us find the scrolls."

 

"I think that this is going to be an interesting trip. It's a lodestone not a compass. Never mind, they work the same way."

 

''so wat are we waiting for lets go ^^ *starts to walk off then trips* ouch.......''

 

"You okay?" he asked. He went over to him and helped him up.

 

''yea ^^ I still dont have alot of energy left , so shall we go ^^''

 

"Yes, so how would I use this compass like item, whichever way it points we go?" Kuju asked curiously.

 

Kyla took the map and showed Kuju how to align the lodestone with the map. "We follow the path that is shown when the map is in the right position. My father taught me when I was little. He thought it was good to learn such skills."

 

''interesting wow Kyla your father must have been a kol guy ^^''

 

"If the skill helps us then he did waste his time." Kuju was thinkinhg if he was one of those who shunned other creatures like himself, but soon forgot about it. "Well, how would you know if the map is in the right position?"

 

"The original was made by a master mapmaker and jeweler. I can show it to you if you want. I trust this map as I trust my friends. I would not have started out otherwise."

 

"A maps only as effective as the person reading it, so we might aswell start."

 

''Hes right , Kyla you lead''

 

Kyla blushed. "I am not usually a leader but I will take the lead this time. You are wonderful people and I see you as family. Perhaps when this is all over we can chose to help each other build new lives. I would like to see you all happy." She pointed towards some hills and started to walk. "We will make those by nightfall."

 

"Alright." he said. "I trust you with my life."
