Kyla looked at Tor and then hugged Kuju. "Please ignore him" she whispered. Kyla could not bear the idea of Kuju going out into the blizzard alone.

 

"Have you ever had a wife or children, Zeke? To me it sounds like your species, killed everything in site."

 

''Its impossible to ignore someone thats picking at your old wounds Kyla , see your soft always being an around the bush let your mean side out.........''

''Yea the Mortis are nothing but creature that kill we find joy in that , and no I never had a wife and kids

 

Kyla could take no more. She got up and stood in front of Zeke. "I'm sorry I thanked you now." She drew back her arm and punched him squarely on the nose. "I hope it broke!"

 

Zeke smirked holding his nose......

''About time c'mon take your anger out on me softy hehehehehe c'mon lets see what else you got''

 

Kyla balled her hands into fists 'Find a happy place' she thought. She turned and kicked him hard between the legs. "Satisfied now?"

 

Zeke fell to the floor........

''is that the best you can do? pathetic!''

 

"why do you wish to fight her, Zeke? You want to anger her for a reason?" Kuju asked watching the small skirmish.

 

Kyla sat down on the opposite side of the cave. She hated violence but even she had limits. If he had picked on her then she would have walked away, but to pick on Kuju was unforgivable. She buried her face in her knees and wrapped her wings around herself.

 

''its because shes to soft , she wouldnt last 2 seconds with a fierce opponent , and opponent like Valkner.........''

 

"Anger can not help with a fight, only expeerience of a true battle, can do that, even the hunt for your meal helps, but not anger, it confuses your mind, you don't make smart descisions."

 

Kyla listened to Kuju with respect. He talked with a lot of wisdom and she realised that he had been through a lot. She had survived on her own and could fight, and the first thing she learned was not to got looking for fights, they usually came to you anyway. Zeke was either stupid or had a death wish.

 

''If you know how to control it anger doesent confuse your mind, experiance helps to but whats the force behind your attack power , what helps it kill your opponent?''

 

"That is true, if you control your emotions then you can use them effctively, I myself can control my emotions to use properly, like anger and hate,, but trying to bring out all Kyla's anger doesn't help her control it, it just feed it even more."

 

Kyla wanted to feel something other than anger. They talked about her as if she had lived a sheltered life and never had to defend herself. She got up and walked out of the cave, into the blizzard.

 

''I guess your right but shes still soft.....''

 

Kuju looked at Kyla as she walked out of the cave. "In a group, you always need a 'soft' one, she is why the group sticks together, she is friends with you all, even me, without her their is no pack, she is the pack leader."

 

''Finnaly you snapped out of it , so are you gannah stay with us?''

 

Kyla stood in the storm feeling the cold bite at her. Why were they there if they didn't care about the group or the quest? She was weaker than the warriors, she knew that, but it did not mean she wasn't a survivor. She hated being alone. She looked at the swirling snow. It was a storm that would last all night. Sighing she walked back in. "We will not be moving tonight."
