Kyla heard Kuju and ran to him. "You're ok." She hugged him and smiled. She wanted him kept out of the previous fight. "You are safe with us."

 

Jessica stared at Tor coldly, "I'm telling you anything, if you're a friend of my brother then I have no reason to talk to you."
"Sorry Tor, don't take it personally it's my fault that she's like this." Falmer continued to stare at the fire thinknig how he could how he could repent to his sister.

 

He sat next to her and asked "Why are you so hostile toward your brother and his friends?" He already knew, but he wanted to hear her side of the story.

 

"You're not an Ice Elf, you wouldn't understand and more impotantly it's none of your business!" Jessica got up moved to the otherside of the cave.
"Please Tor, talking to her is like talking to a brick wall. You're never going to get an answer."

 

"I just wanted to hear her side of the story." he said, sighing. He got up and walked around a bit.

 

Falmer looked up to see Tor leave and continued looking at the fire, "What happened to the village," Falemr looked up to see Jessica staring at him coldly as usual, "it seems I'll never find out."

BIC: Kuju sat up he felt better but still tied, he pushed himself to mutch trying to fight the pain. "You did not need to heal me. I can handle myself." Kuju growled at Vincent, "Now, I think i should leave your hospitality was a unique experience." Kuju stood up and slowly tried to walk out of the cave, but he was to tied. He sat back on the floor. "But I should rest before I go."

 

"I'm so sorry Kuju. It seems that not everyone is eager to embrace the new ideals. In the brave new world the old soldiers will have the hardest time adapting. Please I beg you, give us a chance. For Colette's memory if nothing else. She sounded like an admirable woman."

 

''Your tired huh? tell me when you get your energy back kittykat I want you to do something for me....''

Zeke walks over to Jessica.........

''hmmmmmmmm just so you know Im not friends with your bro and I was an ice elf but I was kidnapped by some bandits and they did some bad experiments on me and changed me into a creature call ''Mortis''. Do you trust me?''

Zeke was lieing , trying to get Jessica to talk.......

 

"Do not utter her name, it brings me bad fortune, for it shows how weak I was, not to protect her." Kuju shed a tear looking away from the group.

 

"You are not weak. Sometimes bad things happen and you can't change that. You can't change the world on your own. You have a friend here who believes in you. I know that you are strong and that you can make a difference."

 

"I know your dream, for once it was mine. I travelled with several groups that wanted to save the world, all in their own way, on my last travel, we were ambushed by a small group of mutated creatures, sent by the elementals, the commanders of Fire, Water, Earth and Wind, and I was the elemental from the Void. We all tried to fight back but they over powered us, they killed her, they killed Colette, I saw her as she died in my arms, she was screming in pain!" Kuju had been crying. "Later, my tribe of the Void, they said that I was a worthless leader, they over threw me and exiled me from my home land. i tried to change the world, but I failed, I lost many , I lost everything but nothing, now I am the lone wolf, once great, now nothing more than a beast on the run. I can't handle the pain again."

 

"I'm so sorry Kuju. It seems that you have been so cruelly treated. The change will come, I promise. I want you to be part of my family if you will honour me. I haven't got any real family of my own. My parents were killed by humans and the rest disappeared. You don't have to be the lone wolf. Please don't walk out alone to die. If you do then Colette really did die in vain. She believed in you, but you have forgotten how to believe in yourself. I can help you regain that belief."

 

''so kuju whose this Colette lady? was it your first love that died a horrible death?''

 

"Zeke, shut up you cold idiot, ever heard of subtlety. It's ok Kuju, you don't have to answer anything." Kyla put her arms around Kuju protectively.

 

''Im a Mortis Kyla its what we do , so who was she Kuju? did she break up with you before death?''

 

"Do what? Lack subtlety or be an idiot? They were deeply in love and married you idiot. Just drop the subject."

 

''Us Mortis slaughter and cause dispair(only the lesser ones are idiots but thats not the point), and why oh why should I drop the subject Kuju gattah face the truth his lover is dead and he cant keep walking around here , all depressed and lonely , I say get over it kittykat......''

 

"No, you are a sad and lonely idiot who will get hit soon on the nose. Anyway Kuju's a wolf, not a cat." Kyla turned her back on Zeke.

 

"Its alright, Kyla, Zeke can't change who he is, Colette was my wife, she and I were leaders of our species, The Creatures of the Void. But that was long ago, I just wish I could have seen my children again they were so young when....." Kuju held back his tears once again.
