Kalian - 150PA (Post Apocalypse)

"Feeling the drop in temperature as we travel north I can believe it. I'll carry Kuju. He will not be left to die. He will live and learn that whether he likes it or not, the world shows promise for a positive future."

 

They were about to set off when Falmer got an idea, "Someone light a piece of wood and carry it with us, I think I may know how to get across my homeland alive."

 

He took a stick and put it in the fire. "Like this?" he asked.

 

"Perfect. You really are very smart. I'll carry Kuju so that he won't get left behind and we can move onwards." Kyla picked up the unconscious mutant and hugged him against her, allowing her heat to warm him.

 

OOC: Mutant?! Now your thats just insulting! :p

 

ooc: If you're not human, you are a mutant as this is post apocalyptic Earth :-p

bic: Kyla held Kuju closely guarding him against the cold wind. She thought about his defiance and their insistence on titles. What did Avian, Human, Demon, Elf and the other titles mean except to divide people and encourage hatred? They were all living beings and had all come originally from the same stock. She sighed loudly, it seemed that the only chance for peace was to make people see beyond labels to the soul beneath.

 

OOC: Alright, I won't take as an insult then.

BIC: Laying in Kyla's arms, Kuju's body still was lifeless but his mind knew all that was going on, he felt different, compassion is what he felt, something he had not known in a long time, since his time with his love.

 

The wind got stonger and colder as the group of non-humans travelled further into the frozen wasteland. Falmer stopped suddenly causing Kyla to bump into him, "It's going to get very cold, Tor keep that fire going and everybody, stay close." Falmer closed his eyes and put both his hands out, suddenly ice started appearing infront of him and began moving around them. By the time the ice had stopped it had created a bubble keeping the cold wind out. "Now, lets keep moving."

 

Kyla walked firmly and with determination. She clutched Kuju to her, keeping him warm and safe. She had already worked out that she could fly a short distance carrying him, enough to get to safety. "Please recover and get well" she whispered. "There is so much for you to see and learn. I would like to know you as a friend." She gently kissed his head.

 

Kuju knew the kiss Kyla had given him, now his thoughts returned to his time with his wife and children, when his kind lived in harmony with creatures and nature, a time he wishes to see. Still his thought returned to his love and how at peace his mind was.

 

Falmer and the group continued moving foward, the ice buble kept out the extreme cold but it was still very cold. Falmer hadn't felt this cold in a very long time he knew now, he was home. "It should take us at least an hour to reach my village."

 

"Are all your people so angry? I hope not as it is so sad. I would like to think that we can all live in peace and help the world recover. I think the word was paradise, that is what we need to create. It won't come easy though and we have to learn to trust and work together." Kyla spoke to Kuju hoping that somehow he could hear her. She wanted him to know that she was willing to forget the past if he would give the future a chance. Perhaps he too had been ill treated.

 

Kuju's mind was more confuse than ever, his mind was torn in 2, wondering what he should do, A paradise, A word he longed to hear, but wondered if it could be achieved. A constant struggle happened in his mind.

 

Kyla let her mind wander a little. She could see a world where people worked together and children played together regardless of appearance. It was possible but it would take a lot of work. If only she could help others to see that the fighting was pointless.

 

Tor silently walked beside Kyla. His mind was focused on the task at hand.

 

Kyla looked at Tor and smiled. She wondered how he was feeling at the moment. He was always so quiet and serious. She wanted to tell him that everything would be alright but the words didn't seem enough. "I love you" she whispered, hoping he would hear.

 

He heard her and smiled at her. "I love you too." he whispered back.

 

Kyla looked down at Kuju. He had been sleeping a long time and she was a little concerned. Was he so exhausted that he wouldn't wake for days. She cradled him like a child, wishing that he slept peacefully to wake refreshed. "You will love the new world when it arrives. I believe you belong there."

 

Falmer had kept silent for a while now, "Umm, we'll arrive at my village soon but don't expect a warm welcome," after realising what he said he quickly added, "No pun intended."

 

Tor nodded. "I'm used to a non-warm welcome." he said.
